Well this was a horrific visit. The boba was already pretty disappointing--watery, tea flavor off, boba pearls mid. I just came here for the egg tart and it did not disappoint! After a recent trip to Portugal, I fell in love with pasteis de nata pastries. ORDER Matcha Latte Lychee Tea I enjoyed the fruit teas more than the milk tea (at least for the Matcha Milk Tea). The Lychee tea had great flavor overall. It had a strong tea flavor with a hint of lychee that did not overpower the drink. The Matcha was alright, nothing special - just an average drink. Boba texture is very good. I like the chewiness of the boba and how it is not hard or starchy. VIBES This is a great place to study and hangout. There's booth seating, cushioned seats and wooden seats as well. Plenty of tables to study and nice cozy environment. Decor revolves around plants and cute green shades. I will say that when we went they were playing some Vietnamese Pop/Rap pretty loudly which could be distracting when studying but that's just something to note. SERVICE Service was good! As I headed to the restroom, an employee rudely yelled at me, "Bathrooms are for paying customers only." Came here for the fresh baked Dan Ta... and OMG, it's delicious! Flaky crust and warm custard, gobbled mine up while waiting for my drink order, LOL. I tried the Raspberry Tea and it was delightful! So refreshing on a hot Texas day. I also saw that they had salted egg chiffon cake! My daughter wanted just plain chiffon cake and they gracious went to the back to bring one out for her! So nice!!! Just calling your boba shop "Tea Daddy" is already enough to pull me in. They even decorated for Lunar New Year (was in February) and all that red made their shop look vibrant. The great thing is that they also offer food so my sister had the spicy popcorn chicken while I had a Matcha Macchiato. The brown sugar boba made the drink sweet but overpowered the already subtle matcha undertone. Overall, the experience was pretty okay. My sister and I just popped in briefly. Just in case anyone orders that expecting fresh taro like my friend did haha I got the Matcha Macciato and-on recommendation of the baristas after I asked-with coffee jelly. If I come here again (I live quite far but was in the area), I have got to get it again! It's one of the best boba drinks I have ever had!
