Despite that, the gardener later attempted to significantly increase the biweekly rate, citing fuel expenses. This was unexpected, especially given the upfront cost I had already paid. There were also repeated issues accessing the backyard because tenants did not leave the gate unlocked, which led to overgrowth and additional work. While I understand the difficulty, communication about these access problems was not consistent. Without timely updates, I couldn't address the issue with the tenants.Sanitation problems were another concern. Dog feces were often left in the yard by the tenants, but again, I wasn't consistently informed, which limited my ability to correct the situation. Additionally, multiple sprinkler heads were damaged during the period of service, something I had never experienced with previous gardeners.Ultimately, the gardener resigned abruptly, citing the access and sanitation issues.
