Name change; is now Alejos. Chips & salsa was good. Carne Asada was really good. GF's pollo dish was fantastic. Everything was fresh. Tortillas tasted like they were made within the hour. Service was really good, food came quick and we were asked enough but not too much if we needed anything. Interior was clean and unique, and the atmosphere was friendly and not rushed. We showed up here at 2:15 on Friday afternoon was told it would be a 30 minute wait and finally got sat at 3:48 pm that evening here it is 4 PM and I still do not have a plate because they messed up the order I had Originally had.... Our family loves its Mexican food! Once you open the door and step inside, you're greeted with a warm, bright dining room decorated with the best mexican tile and woodwork around. The host will welcome you as if you're an old friend, even if they are super busy. The wait staff is very friendly and keeps the drinks and anything else you need, flowing. My personal favorite is the appetizer sampler, but I branch out and order either a Taco Salad or Fajitas if I'm feeling adventurous. The queso is divine! We always enjoy eating at this place. Tonight waitress dumped a plate on a friend's shoes. He just asked for his meal to be comp'd because it ruined his shoes. Road trip stop while out of town. There were not too many choices here in town but we feel like we made a good choice overall. It was very clean and we were seated promptly. The service was good in most respects although drink refills could have been a little faster. The chips were standard and the salsa was average. Was disappointed there was not cheese sauce with our meal and we were charged for a few tortillas to go with our lunch. Maybe this is the norm in this area.... This place is TOO good. Me and my husband are very guilty of eating here three or four times a WEEK.. not month, but week.. and sometimes more often than that. Greeted by Daniel, one of the management members, and served by the best. This place has very friendly staff, always ready to serve. Tee just moved here to the area and it is always busy which for me is a good sign of good food! The only gripe I have is make sure to eat-in rather than take-out. Their take-out servings are minimal and just doesn't compare to the presentation when they bring the food out to you. My wife had got the fajitas to-go and it was very poor and sad looking. Great food! Table made Guacamole was fantastic! We ate here on our way out after our 25 year anniversary at the Ponderosa! All 6 of us agreed the queso was great and enchiladas were as well. Had OU on all the coke cups...:) It was a little cold inside at first but once the place filled up and it did quickly, it was comfortable. Service was pretty good, our waitress got busy but still took care of us. I would recommend this to anyone... just make sure you get there by opening time on Sunday if you want a seat. read more

Fantastic friendly service. No complaints there. However, Having had the best of Tex-Mex from Texas, there is plenty of room to improve for taste. The queso side order and the beans on the main dish were too liquidy, and lacking seasoning. I did enjoy the shrimp quality in the dish I ordered. Thanks again for the very good service. read more

Pretty sure this must have been an off night cause everyone else seems to have decent reviews. My service was terrible. My order was taken and no one returned to the table ever except to bring me my bill. Yet I for some reason still tipped 20%- but Im kicking myself. My tacos were just ok but not very hot even though tge plate was scorching. My tea smelled like furniture polish so I didnt drink it. The queso was really good and tge dab of salsa was too but I would have liked more if my waitress or waiter would have ever returned. (I had a pair btw.) I don't know maybe they were fighting over who wanted to take me since it was just me by myself. read more

It was really good! Great food, great service. After we ate, we stood at the register for what seemed like forever. I didn't care too much for their salsa but the spinach enchiladas were really yummy. Everyone was very friendly. I will definitely come back. As far as accessibility, it was nice. The tables were a little crowded, but I could still get through with my manual wheelchair. The bathroom was large and the door wasn't too heavy.
