Don't know what happened to a duplicate review for Gonzo sprinklers. I deleted one of them it deleted both reviews. So in short, these guys are absolutely outstanding. The first sprinkler company came out regarding a leaking valve. They could not find the valve, said they would be back the next day, but ended up being a no-show. Contacted Gonzo; they found the faulty valve and several more valves leaking or inoperable. I'd give him a rating as high as one could receive, these guys are great. read more

We called on Monday and Friday was the first available appointment. Two guys showed up Friday morning. We had already dug out the area and found the leak. They needed to fix the fitting that was leaking and repair the wires we must have cut while digging. They were here from 7:56 am-9:37 am ( per my Ring camera) and they charged me for 2 hours of labor plus some parts for a total of $420. When I questioned the 2 hour labor charge, I was told to call the boss. When I texted the boss, I asked for an itemized list of charges. I told him his people were only here for 1 1/2 hours. When I received the itemized list of charges, the charge to fix a 3/4" lateral line leak was $65. I said that "job" included labor (the part wasn't very expensive) so I was being charged twice for labor plus 1/2 hour of labor that was incorrect. His response was " we charge and treat everyone the same way". I had Ring camera proof that his guys were not here for 2 hours and he didn't care. I feel like he's not very honest about his labor charges and doesn't care to make things right. So beware of labor over charges. By my estimate, we were overcharged by about $150. read more

I had a zone valve that started running on its own randomly. Trouble was I had no idea were it was. First company I tried gave up. They said they'd be back but I never heard from them again. We cannot recommend Gozo Sprinkler Repair and Drainage Correction enough. The owner, Miguel, is like a Jedi master. We had two sprinklers guys over here before and several drain guys. (I honestly lost count of the people who looked at our French drain.) None of Miguel's predecessors could figure out exactly what was wrong. Miguel figured it out in less than one hour, fixed the sprinklers the same day, and gave us a reasonable estimate for fixing the drain. I cannot overstate how dramatically he improved our sprinkler system. Had he told me, "We completely ripped out your old system and installed a brand new one," I would have believed him. The sprinklers spray twice as far, he fixed problems his predecessors created, and he figured out why some areas of our lawn were not getting watered at all. My only regret is that we did not call him first! In addition to being great with sprinklers, Miguel shows up exactly when he promises to, provides precise estimates, and has a trustworthy crew of people. He is also fair--to a fault. His initial bid was based on using three workers. He ended up using four, but did not charge us for the fourth person. We are going to call him again to repair our drain, perform maintenance on our sprinklers, and we intend to recommend him to everyone we can! read more

Gonzo is a bit pricey for my taste. That said, my house was being listed for sale and I needed some last-minute sprinkler system work. They were able to come out the next morning and got my issues (several broken sprinkler heads and a defective valve box) fixed within a few hours. I called the phone number listed on yelp in the late afternoon. Miguel called me back within 5 minutes. I had a bad leak in my sprinkler system, didn't know the cause, but figured it was a broken pipe. Miguel scheduled a technician to come out in 2 days. Eddy showed up early at 8 AM. Diagnosed the issue and found the problem within 10 minutes - broken valve. Pointed out I had 3 other valves that most likely would break soon too seeing how they were the same age - about 25 years old. They quoted me for one and they suggested a good discount for replacing all 3 which I did. They showed me their work all the way through and completed replacing all 3 within 2 hours - exactly what he had told me. And the best thing about their service, is they tested each and every zone to make sure their work did not adversely impact the operation. Everything worked great. I contacted Gonzo Sprinklers to fix my sprinkler system after another company's guy completely screwed up my system. I met with Miguel Gonzalez and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He set up for the next day to have he and his crew come out and fix all of the issues we had with our system. He got my system working again like new and replaced several heads and one that was broken and not getting any water as well as even put my Rachio sprinkler controller back on the wall properly after the previous guy messed it up. We got Gonzo sprinkler service and the team came by with three people. At very beginning, the lead told me they charge only $70 for the labor of two workers, I did not ask how long time they would take to complete the work. Eventually they changed me $420 for labor only and this includes 2 hours of 3 people of labor cost. I don't think they need 3 people to complete the limited portion of the work, and I don't think they need 2 hours to finish that if 3 people were used...I don't think the labor charge by the number of his people should work. I paid you for the work not for your people. If you have 10 people come by, should I pay you the labor cost of 10 people? Their charge really won't make sense. read more
