Great Shop! Everyone there was super helpful on our OOT ride we completed in June of 2024. Lots of great stuff in stock, reloading with some energy food, added a few new straps to the bike, and a fresh pair of socks. Even got to charge up our electric battery banks! 10/10 will go back! read more

Bike bike store ever. We came in 1/2 hr before closing on a Saturday. We had a guy who had fallen and couldn't complete our Oregon Outback ride. These guys stayed late and went out of their way to help us - got our bikes, unloaded, packed, shipped and they even drove our fallen rider to the hospital to get checked out. Can't emphasize enough how fast, competent, knowledgeable and caring they are. This bike shop is amazing. They went well above and beyond to help us. The shop deserves 6 stars. Highly recommend. read more

Good Bike, we love your fence! ..and tried to get one like it, but ours (made by the same folks,) looks like something a hurricane threw up! ( Note. Came to Prineville, OR to ride the Central Oregon route, saw this shop from a Ramble Ride video on YouTube. This place had cool shit the employees where kinda grumpy so the only 4 star maybe because I didn't look like a real mountain biker common problem with bike shops. But we still bought stuff we didn't need because they had cool shit. read more

Had a great experience recently here! Demo-ed a Salsa Fargo gravel bike and loved it! Super comfortable ride and James did a great job showing me the bike's features and getting a comfortable fit. I hadn't ridden a bike in years, but this experience might change that! Did a 7ish mike ride and it was a blast! The store itself is great too. I always have excellent service from friendly and knowledgeable folks who are not high pressure sales at all. And you can get a beer while you're there, a must in our central Oregon bike culture. I'm really thankful Good Bike is here in town! read more

What a great rental experience and Shop! I rented a new Trek 29er Fuel EX for a few days before Thanksgiving and had a great experience. James is super helpful and the rental rate and bike were outstanding. It was my first time riding a 29er and I was really impressed. James set up tubeless tires on the rental for me as well, no charge. The riding out of Skull Hollow was Top Notch too! Thanks much James, I hope to stop back in sometime! read more

We rented a full suspension mountain bike from Good Bike. The service was amazing! They took the extra time to make sure my daughter got a mountain bike that fit her body. They also educated us to know how to fit a bike. We have been to numerous bike shops in Central Oregon and no one has ever taken he time to explain sizing. Rode an 80 mile 2-day overnight gravel ride with these guys this past weekend. James and Kristen lead the ride as strong riders, always looking out for everyone, making sure we were all staying hydrated and safe through the entire ride. You should stop into their awesome shop or book a ride with these guys! read more

I LOVE this place. I took my vintage Trifecta Tricycle in for a bunch of work and being new to the area, I wanted to use a local shop. James and Jeff are fantastic! They picked up my bike immediately, quote work same day, ordered parts and got started. What a pleasant experience. Bike was finished right when they said and they delivered on time! It was so nice to stop in and have a cider or ability to fill a growler in the shop. A must to check out in Prineville. read more

The prairie is…read morehuge - it held 7 stages of music, as well as spaces for talks, classes, vendors and food stands. The lake takes up a significant space as well and it's quite the hike to walk around it. We camped for 7 days in mid-August. We were lucky and assigned a camping space with minimal shrubs and rocks. As a result, we slept fine with just double-layered tarp under our tent and a sleeping pad inside. Be prepared. With high elevations, it gets very windy. A few neighboring canopies were picked up by the wind and at least one in our area was destroyed. Be sure to bring something to weigh it down. The wind will also cause dust to pick up significantly. I wore a dust mask for most of my time here and others had on bandanas. If you'll be up at random hours like we were, it's important to know that the temperature change is drastic. The temperature started to warm up quickly around 7 am and drop quickly around 6 pm. During the day, we wore bathing suits, lathered on sunscreen, stayed under our shade structures and hydrated well. At night, we would be in beanies, layers of fleece and wool socks. I would also suggest proper footwear, as there are small dried shrubs, rocks and gravel everywhere. I wouldn't recommend bringing any shoes with zippers, as the dust gets stuck in it and it gets difficult to zip up. Though we didn't experience it, there are supposed to be ticks in the area. In any case, I'd recommend bringing bug spray, as there are mosquitos - each member of our party was bitten at least once. I can't rough it this hard, so camping here isn't for me. But if you're up for a challenge against rapidly changing temperatures, dusty air and rocks all over the ground, this is all you!

I luckily found another dealer on the other side of the country (Simply EV Super-Store Miami), they gave me the deal I needed. Totally, totally earned my business. I wish it would have been you Chuck who sold me my Segway GT1, specially after the first instance in which the transaction was voided. Technical errors do happen, that we agreed upon. Maybe just fate, my Segway GT1 is a dreamboat, just a fantastic drive. Chuck may or may not be able to help you, check out their stuff.

As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I originally set the review at 4 stars, but have adjusted it up to 5 stars because of this. Thanks Jason!

This bike shop is must stop if you are visiting or even passing through Prineville. My friends enjoyed the beer on tap while I got lovely customized service from Dean. He has a knack for bike fitting and really listened to what was going on with my grip. In no time, he had me try some new grips, took the time to mount them and then make a personalized adjustment for my hands. My problem was solved. Thanks Dean! James, the owner, is another really delightful person. He went the extra mile for our group to provide an awesome shuttle, key information and resources for an EPIC ride in the Ochoco mountains. "Epic" was how James described the ride would be. After finishing it, I would have to agree with him! Nine MTB riders arranged for a shuttle up Round Mt and Look Mt. Door-to-door service. Everything was perfect. James has a spectacular van. He met us at the half-way point with cool water, cold gatorade, lunch and lawn chairs. At the end of this spectacular ride . . . . he met us at the end with cold beer, local artisan cheeses and a big smile. For those of you who look only to Bend for mt biking in central Oregon, you are really missing out. Check out Prineville and the Ochoco Mountains. Thanks so much James and Good Bike. read more

Good Blke and its owner James, turned a fun mountain biking trip to Prineville Oregon into an epic downhill extravaganza. James customized a shuttle trip based on our groups skill set and desired riding style. His knowledge of the area and brand new sprinter van all but guaranteed success. A must do if you want to explore the ochoco mountains. If you are in Prineville stop by the shop, great knowledgeable staff, detailed maps of the local trails, and microbrews on tap.
