Had the opportunity to try Good Day Cafe. Located in O' Fallon, MO Good Day Cafe brings a small country diner feeling and a awesome experience. Located in a strip mall near Highway K and N, Good Say Cafe has great service with reasonable prices. We visited in a Saturday morning and was able to get a table during the breakfast rush. Good Day Cafe does have limited seating and recommend calling ahead if you have a large group wanting to visit. When reviewing the menu all the traditional dishes you expect to find in a classic diner as well as some great skillets to choose from. We ordered a few classic dishes and everything was delicious, and perfectly portioned. Our server was very friendly and gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal with checking in on us frequently. Good Day Cafe was a great experience and a hidden gem. Definitely coming back, give them a try! read more

This is a really small restaurant but the food is delicious. The service is great too! We didn't take any pictures of our food but it all tasted great. I got the meat lovers skillet and added gravy to the side and it came with toast. My husband got the sunrise and he liked his as well! We will definitely be coming back! read more

This is a nice little neighborhood spot off the beaten path. Although they fill up, the lines aren't as long as other breakfast spots in O'Fallon, MO. I get my eggs basted. Many cooks don't know what that is, but the cook here nails it. The service is pretty quick, with little to no waiting for take out orders called in. This is really a good place. read more

In search of a new breakfast place two days after Christmas, we found this diner. 13 tables in the entire restaurant. We only had to wait outside a few minutes for a table. People were constantly shuffling in as soon as a table left. Debbie, the only waitress, seemed to keep everything in check. She was very vocal and I quite enjoyed it. A chef came out to help and took our order. Quick, friendly service. The food was really good and the portions of bacon and toast were larger than usual with a standard breakfast, four pieces each. Deducted one star because my husband didn't like it as much as I did. I would return. read more

If you want a down home cooking is "Good Day Cafe". I go out of my way to just come here. The service is good, the people that work here are very friendly. That means a lot to me. The food is great. I only go there for breakfast my favorite meal of the day. Love those pancakes. The only thing the potatoes need to be a-lot hotter. But overall I still give it a 4.5 stars out of 5 read more

Good Day Cafe has become one of our top three or four favorite breakfast stops! My wife and I can each find a variety of food to meet our tastes on any given day and it's always good! The service is prompt and friendly and the prices are reasonable, especially with the size of the servings. This place is a small diner that reminds me a good deal of a couple of spots I used to visit with my Dad when I was much younger. We found this place an Apple Maps and decided to give it a try. We entered the restaurant such a cute little place. I loved it. Small diner with maybe 10 tables, reminded me of one of this old diners from back in the day!! The food was delicious. I had a skillet breakfast with a side of pancakes. My husband had an omelet and biscuits and gravy! I would highly recommend this pace. It does not have you fancy coffee and your boozie drinks but it's okz it has a home feeling to it. My wife and I like to try all of the local breakfast restaurants in the area. The Good Day Cafe is small inside, but it feels really homey. The menu's are under plexiglass at the table so there is no need to worry if you have a germ phobia. The menu is pretty routine. Standard pancakes , eggs, bacon etc. The food is really good and filling and the prices are reasonable. Very friendly staff as well. If you are in the area, give them a try. read more

Go here on a regular basis for breakfast. Usually get the veggie omelet. Food is good as is the service. Prices are reasonable. Overall review rating of 3.5 stars is accurate IMO. read more

Used yelp to find this. Being a breakfast person and visiting town, decided to give Good Day a try. Glad it had directions as it is not easily visible from street. Ordered the sunrise breakfast. Service was quick and good was good. Eggs done perfectly. Would have preferred my home fries a bit more done but this was a reasonably priced great breakfast. Small homey place. Would like to go back and try something different. read more

1st time at this location, found them online and highly disgusted. I called in a togo order and when I walked in the entire restaurant from the staff to the customers was just staring at me. After standing at the counter for a while 2 worker's just looked and walked past me. I ordered a double up, my eggs was wrong and barely had any potatoes and on top of that they were burnt and scraps. As you can see from the image I posted on Google and Yelp. I live 15 minutes away or else I would've demanded a refund. In this day and age it's time out for ignorancey, sickening!! read more

The whole staff is attentive and they hustle! My husband and I went on Mother's day and it was packed out but we got in within 15 minutes. Deb was our waitress and she was on point! Food was soooo savory and the portions were perfect. Our coffee and orange juice were constantly filled. This is the BEST place for breakfast or lunch. 10 stars!!!! read more

This is a good little breakfast place. Food was good, service was good. Lind of a small and cramped place but it's like eating with your family in a way. I am not sure if all the complaints ya on the waiting. You are not at McDonald's it's real food cooked so it's going to take sometime. I have been to this place several times. The service is always good to great. I have tried different breakfast items from omelets to skillets and have not been disappointed nor have I ever left hungry. I did see a ridiculous review on here. One star for not having your favorite server anymore and they forgot you husbands milk? Grow up!!! read more

small place but if you get there early you can get right in. yummy food like home cooked. my husband and I really enjoy coming here on Saturday morning or Sunday. they also have lunch. I usually get an omelet or eggs, bacon and toast. every time we have gone which has been several times the food and service is really good. the price is just right too. very affordable. read more

This is a hidden gem on Hwy K in O'Fallon. The best breakfast we have had in St.Charles County! We go back every time we are in town. The country fried steak breakfast is our favorite and best we have eaten, consistently delicious. Real home fries and generous portions, eggs cooked perfectly! Very clean little place with friendly and helpful wait staff! The best, highly recommend! Have also had other breakfasts which are equally delicious but have not tried lunch yet (because breakfast so good!) read more

I went here for the first time the other day and had a great breakfast. It is a very simple spot that reminds me of a place I used to go when I was little. The breakfast taste homemade and was great. It reminds me of a Waffle House style with a little more of a homey feel. Great little spot for breakfast if you're looking for something quick and casual! Wouldn't do car side delivery for my elderly mother who needs to remain socially distanced from others right now. My family tries to support local businesses during this pandemic, but I suppose this location is doing well enough financially that they don't need our business. read more

Tried it after reading the reviews. Really small place, but it was clean and seemed organized. The food was good and served hot. Didn't have to wait long for it. Started out cold & drafty, but waitress said she was hot &sweaty, and not allowed to touch thermostat (another did, but to no avail)..said they were short handed, but chatted at length with customers while others were waiting at checkout counter...she sipped her drink while on the "floor" (dining area), and sat down while taking an order...R U serious?...looks like customers are second priority to employees? On balance, tea was good, and no loud, crappy music. Menu, though, large selection for breakfast or lunch, but Reuben sandwich & coleslaw rated a D. Soup of the day?...forget it...they were out (Thursday) and they make it on Wednesday...once a week...R U serious? This business seems to have a short term plan. read more

My husband and I have been regulars for quite a while now. The food is definitely good and the new owners seem very nice. Unfortunately there is one waitress whom is not very friendly; however, we kept coming to support a small business. Today, I was told she would come fill my drinks when it was convenient for her: and she was beyond rude when she said it. I was left speechless and we just left. The place is small and its literally a few steps away. She has always been rude, but today we had enough. Unless the owners can get her to change her rude attitude we wont be back. Its a shame because it does have good food. Oh, and we always leave a 50% tip or more. Very disappointed. read more

We eat here every weekend and we were upset to learn our favorite waitress was let go, we just weren't happy with the service we had this weekend. Our server forgot my husband's milk and we didn't get it until halfway through the meal even after asking for it several times, she wasn't as friendly to us as we were used to but she was actually sitting at another customers table while ignoring us. We won't be back. read more

I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla with regular sausage (it came with salsa and sour cream on the side) and a half order of the Cranberry Bread French Toast. It was so good! I love the quesadilla here. It was hot coming out of kitchen, flavorful, and so delicious! The french toast was also so good, the cranberries were juicy, and the small bits of walnut gave a balanced flavor with a slight crunch. It is a smaller place, so seating can be limited. You can also hear the kitchen staff in the back cooking and preparing orders. I didn't mind this, I thought it actually helped contribute to the diner ambiance. I love this place and am excited to come back!
