The owner Melissa is amazing, her experience and training in dog care is so evident. Melissa truly…read moreget to know the puppies and her excellent and individualized care for Finley is enabled by how well she "knows" him. He is not just a number at one of the larger chain puppy daycares! The personalized attention at Melissa's daycare is so stand out. They also take time to address behavior and they even have a nap and storybook reading time!! They are a no crate facility which I love! They understand optimal growth and development practices for puppies. Today I tired to take Finn to Camp Bow Wow as Melissa was full, only to find out at drop off that they have a policy of requiring neutering by 7 mos, Finn is 8 mos. Melissa rescued me willingly when I called to see if she had a no show and took him as a overbook so I could get to work at the hospital! I wanted to hug her!! She wanted to do what was best for Finn and help me out of a bad spot, refusing to leave me stranded, making her day busier by adding in another puppy to her day. I also appreciate that she follows appropriate anatomical development and what is healthiest for a pup and doesn't require neutering until 14 mos of age when dogs have reach full adult potential. Melissa has earned my longstanding loyalty and I so value the small independent owned personal service her daycare gives vs. the large chain daycares!!

You may consider three stars a bad rating, but I feel it is fair, and I can't quite give them four…read morestars. My dog, Bo, hates being boarded, period; it's no reflection on any facility. He loves being around people and hates other dogs, so it's just not enjoyable for him. But having relocated to Denver with a dog who doesn't get along with other animals, we haven't been able to find an in-home pet sitter. I have taken Bo to Redstone for vet care, and with this being attached, I tried it out. Even though the facilities aren't anything fancy, there is a vet around if anything goes wrong and the facility is staffed 24/7. That was a plus for me. With Bo not being friendly with any other animals, it can be a bit of a to-do when I drop off or pick up, but the staff is very understanding of that. I have boarded Bo at one other facility in town and they charge extra for a dog that can't go out in a playgroup. It is expensive to board a dog. Because Bo really loves people, I paid extra for individual playtime for several visits. And I stopped doing that, because honestly, I'm not sure the staff is actually fulfilling it. A couple times I have driven by and seen a single dog by itself in a large pen attached to the office. I didn't think much of it until I saw a couple dogs in there, one lying down and the other barking to be let in the office. That is the playtime pen. The dogs were not playing with each other or being played with by staff. Maybe I just drove by at a bad time, but I don't want to pay an extra $15 per day for Bo to be taken out of his indoor/outdoor run and put in a different pen alone for 30 minutes. I can't say I blame the staff for that, they seem to be busy with a lot of animals, but people should get what they pay for. So now I add on the tuck-and-cuddle service, and a staff member will send a text message and picture with your dog, so at least I know someone did go in there and interact with Bo. Bottom line, their prices are okay, and I know Bo is safe when I'm out of town (even if he is unhappy).

Bruce's guidance and tools gave us the confidence to support our pups and develop their improved behavior. He also helped us understand the underlying rationale on the tools we learned. Both of our guys have been so much better, well behaved and more at ease. We were even able to take our Grey to a fun dog run and he was one of the most well mannered dogs! We honestly can't believe the dramatic change in our dogs. Thank you Bruce!

She would even nip at us or other dogs when food was around. Thanks to Bruce's guidance and training techniques, she's like a new dog! She's calmer, listens so much better, and the food-related aggression is under control. We also recently adopted a high-energy 1-year-old rescue, Rambo (he's part blue heeler), who came to us from an abusive situation so he was very reactive and hard to manage. Bruce has been incredible with him. Rambo is now learning to focus, follow commands, and is making huge progress. Bruce's expertise and calm, confident approach has made a world of difference. We have recommended him to friends, family and co-workers. Highly suggest you work with Bruce if you need help with your dog!
