He is not just a number at one of the larger chain puppy daycares! The personalized attention at Melissa's daycare is so stand out. They also take time to address behavior and they even have a nap and storybook reading time!! They are a no crate facility which I love! They understand optimal growth and development practices for puppies. Today I tired to take Finn to Camp Bow Wow as Melissa was full, only to find out at drop off that they have a policy of requiring neutering by 7 mos, Finn is 8 mos. Melissa rescued me willingly when I called to see if she had a no show and took him as a overbook so I could get to work at the hospital! I wanted to hug her!! She wanted to do what was best for Finn and help me out of a bad spot, refusing to leave me stranded, making her day busier by adding in another puppy to her day. I also appreciate that she follows appropriate anatomical development and what is healthiest for a pup and doesn't require neutering until 14 mos of age when dogs have reach full adult potential. Melissa has earned my longstanding loyalty and I so value the small independent owned personal service her daycare gives vs. the large chain daycares!!

He loves being around people and hates other dogs, so it's just not enjoyable for him. But having relocated to Denver with a dog who doesn't get along with other animals, we haven't been able to find an in-home pet sitter. I have taken Bo to Redstone for vet care, and with this being attached, I tried it out. Even though the facilities aren't anything fancy, there is a vet around if anything goes wrong and the facility is staffed 24/7. That was a plus for me. With Bo not being friendly with any other animals, it can be a bit of a to-do when I drop off or pick up, but the staff is very understanding of that. I have boarded Bo at one other facility in town and they charge extra for a dog that can't go out in a playgroup. It is expensive to board a dog. Because Bo really loves people, I paid extra for individual playtime for several visits. And I stopped doing that, because honestly, I'm not sure the staff is actually fulfilling it. A couple times I have driven by and seen a single dog by itself in a large pen attached to the office. I didn't think much of it until I saw a couple dogs in there, one lying down and the other barking to be let in the office. That is the playtime pen. The dogs were not playing with each other or being played with by staff. Maybe I just drove by at a bad time, but I don't want to pay an extra $15 per day for Bo to be taken out of his indoor/outdoor run and put in a different pen alone for 30 minutes. I can't say I blame the staff for that, they seem to be busy with a lot of animals, but people should get what they pay for. So now I add on the tuck-and-cuddle service, and a staff member will send a text message and picture with your dog, so at least I know someone did go in there and interact with Bo. Bottom line, their prices are okay, and I know Bo is safe when I'm out of town (even if he is unhappy).

Our baby. He suffered from a host of illnesses including Cushings and a possible brain tumor. But Dr Sara and her team were with us every step of the way. She was always quick to answer questions and address any of our concerns. I work as a pharmacist in a local hospital, and Dr Sara very kindly made me feel like I was her equal. I felt that she gave better care than even some humans give to each-other. Every staff member was kind and loving to Dart. Because of Covid, I was never able to come in and be present for all of Dart's appointments the whole time we had him. The only time we ever went in was to put him down. It was then that I noticed that the ambience there was filled with nothing short of pure love. I hadn't eaten that day and felt sick with everything going on, and the vet tech gave me her granola bar from her own lunchbox. Wow. Dr Sara got down on her knees with us to euthanize Dart. Because of the nature of my job I have been in so many rooms where people die, and never have I seen a provider kneel down and care for a patient like this. Dr Sara was truly called for this. Her compassion really touched me and will forever stay with me. I hope to be like her to my own dying patients. "The King will answer them: Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." Matthew 25:40 I know I'll see my baby healthy and whole in heaven. There will be no more pain, or sorrow, or tears there. Thank you Southwest Vet Hospital for caring for the least of these. -jon & flor

We researched dog trainers and went with a large company with near to perfect reviews. While we were not displeased with our 6 week service from this other company, there was simply something missing. I could not put my finger on it until I met Drew. I found Drew on NextDoor as a recommendation to another family in the University/PlattPark/Wash Park area and immediately reached out to him. Drew was very responsive and immediately took time getting to know our family's goals for dog training. From the moment Drew entered our home, we knew that he would be part of our family in training our Golden Retriever puppy. Drew's mannerisms, training regime, and positive presence immediately shined and we knew Drew was our "Dog Whisperer". He is so very knowledgeable and is truly a natural with dog training. My husband and I were beyond impressed. Drew also is an educator for the University of Denver School of Social Work graduate students teaching them as canine interventional specialist. Being a Pediatric ICU nurse for many years and seeing how dogs can truly impact a child's wellness state, I can tell you these programs are amazing. For Drew to be the educator of such a program speaks volumes to his training program. We truly look forward to the future with Drew and our Golden Retriever as we know great things are ahead of us with Drew at the helm!

WOW -- I call him the magician, but he's even more than that: HE'S A GODSEND!! We have a new Golden Retriever puppy, Pisko, and started working with Drew almost immediately (e.g., private one-on-one lessons before Pisko had even finished all of his shots, puppy manner classes, two-week boarding school, etc.) DREW has an exceptional rapport with dogs, a true gift for teaching (both animals and OWNERS), and a wonderful sense of humor. He also listens closely to what YOUR specific goals and needs are, and tailors your training experience to meet those objectives. I could go on an on, but the bottom line is that DREW IS THE BEST TRAINER around!

In the past, I've used 5-star boarding facilities, had someone stay in our home, and had them watched by friends. None of these was the perfect scenario, and I always stressed so much while we were away, especially when we were out of the country. I have never felt so sure that my babies are getting the best care as I do when Tammy, Lee Ann, Jacquie, and Michelle are watching them. I schedule them to come 3 times a day and request an update at each visit. They go so far above and beyond what I expected. After EVERY visit I get a photoshoot of my pugs and kitty, and the pictures are so amazing. My husband and I end up laughing out loud constantly! I've hired them for weekend trips, a full week, and twelve days this last time and everything always goes great. Tammy has also helped me out in a pinch multiple times and done last minute visits when travel plans go differently than planned. I really cannot properly put into words how thankful I am for this company and these ladies! I will never hire anyone else as long as they are willing to put up with my little monsters.
