I'm very particular about who cuts my hair. And, the word that comes to mind when I come to Good Fellas Barbershop: LOYALTY! The shop is classy and modern. There is even a pool table to play on while waiting your turn and seats to settle in and watch sports on their big screen TV's. The atmosphere is great and child friendly. They are very respectful in conversation and the music they play on their sound system. When you walk in, all the guys will greet you and make you feel right at home. My guy Beto is real cool and efficient. I've been going to him for 5 years. He has always come through when I needed a fresh cut. Also, in times when he wasn't available to get me in, he always took care of me by having another barber hook me up. Juicy and the other guys are cool too! Ultimately, these guys are good at their craft and are proud of their work. A word of advice... Making an appointment always makes everything easier. However, if you walk in, they always try their best to get you in. They are prompt and quick to reply either if you have their cell phone number or if you're calling the shop. I think anyone that gives less than a 5 star rating on these guys at Good Fellas need to get their story straight. They are always on-time and ready. My problem is that they don't even have a cashier, they don't take card so when I have to use the ATM they have there and have to pay ATM fees on top of the 30 dollar haircut and the expected tip! By far the cleanest barbershop I have ever been to! As soon as you walk in you can feel the difference. All the stations have their great space in between so you don't feel cramped while you're getting a cut. It's nice and fresh in their also since they have AC. They have a lot of barbers so they won't have you waiting that long either if you're a walk in. I have never stepped foot inside a barber shop & Manny was patient with me as I fumbled over my barbering terminology (I don't want it shaved that close. What's a blended fade? Ok so first of all I'm happy with my hair cut. But the experience as a whole was frustrating. I had an appointment time but still waited 10 minutes over while they decided who was going to cut my hair, eventually I sat down. My hair cut took 50 minutes, not because of detail but because of the constant talk and showing each other videos through out the haircut.
