I am usually unimpressed with haircuts I get, but this place just 'got me' and listened to exactly what I asked! It was also fun trying to avoid the scary parts of a horror movie that was on while I was trying to keep my head straight. HORRIBLE haircut, asked for barely anything taken off the top and provided reference pictures, JACOB basically buzzed the sides of my head and took over double the length off the top requested. hair is choppy, uneven and unblended. It was my son's first time getting a big boy haircut... He is three! We went to The Craft Studios as a walk-in, and Alonso took care of us. He was amazing, he talked to my son and walked him through everything that he was going to be doing. During the haircut we had great conversation! My son was super comfortable and relaxed with him! When I first moved to Camarillo I went to Sport Clips to get my hair did because it was close to my house and it was easy to book a chair. However, after multiple haircuts where I thought I looked good when I left the place but then two days later you see your hair growing out all funky and uneven, I decided it was time to grow up and go to an actual barber. A quick Yelp search led me to The Craft Studios where I was lucky enough to meet Charlie. Let me just say that Charlie is a man of a beast when it comes to cutting hair. He actually took the time to look me over and give me advice on what might look best based on the way my hair grows instead of just giving me the ol' cookie-cutter routine. On top of always leaving me looking fly as hell, he's also just a good dude and a great conversationalist. He takes his time and doesn't let you leave until you are 100% stoked about the way you look. The Studio is a really cool place as well, always feels like your just hanging out with your homies and it has a really relaxing vibe. The craft studios is the opposite of all those other barbershop. You get greeted and acknowledged as soon as you get in and offered some water or coffee. Do not go to JOE. He rushed the hair cut saying hes cut hair forever and knows how to cut fast. Ask me if i want to cut the sides off the top to have it stick up (i have longer curly hair on top) as im saying no leave it i like the curls he just cuts them and says youll like it. Now i have short hair all around my head and some long hair in the front. Also after seeing how bad the cut was he asked if i wanted a line up and i said no to keep him from pushing it back and i say clean it up only. He starts to push the sides out and CHANGES MY HAIRLINE. I specifically asked him to not push it back and he says i can see were your lines up supposed to be.
