We had a 2:00 PM appointment and arrived early as we usually do. After waiting about 30 minutes, we noticed other clients who had arrived after us were already being seen. When we checked with the front desk, we were told that the delay was because of the stylist "we chose" running behind, like it was then our fault for choosing said stylist when the system assigned it to us. The issue is that we did not actually choose a stylist when booking--the salon's system automatically assigned one. More importantly, no one informed us at check-in that our assigned stylist was running late, so we were left wondering what was happening. To their credit, once we brought it up, the staff addressed the situation, our child received a good haircut, and they even offered to waive the service fee because of the misunderstanding. We chose to pay because we've had good experiences here over the years and understand that delays happen. My suggestion would be better communication when a stylist is running behind and more accurate wording when explaining the situation. A simple heads-up at check-in would have gone a long way. Overall, we will continue to return, but I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience

Excellent Staff | Fun place for kids…read more I've been cutting my kid's hair for the last 5 years and thought today would be the day she gets her hair cut by a professional hair stylist. I researched a bunch of places and chose this place. Plus, my neighbor takes her two boys (2 and 4 yrs old) here, so I decided to give this place a try. I went on their website, which was very helpful with lots of information, and downloaded their app. Their app is so slow, unfortunately, so I didn't get to use it in the store. But, I showed my 5 yr old photos of the place and all of the neat things they had--a slide, cars/planes to sit in, games and shows to watch, brightly colored walls with kid-friendly graphics...etc. She was excited! She picked the person she wanted to have her hair cut by, Sydney. From the moment we stepped in to the time we left, my daughter had a great experience here. She's a very shy kid and very nervous to try anything new. The staff was very upbeat, friendly, and welcoming. Sydney is EXCELLENT. She asked what I wanted for my daughter's haircut, a quick cut and bang trim. She was very patient with my kid and went with whatever she was comfortable with. She never pushed her to do anything she wasn't comfortable doing. She put on a show for my daughter to watch while getting her hair cut. The cut took 10 minutes. Afterward, my daughter was so excited to go down their slide a few times. She picked out a yellow balloon and a lollipop. She left with a very positive experience here. I'm thankful I found a place that can cut my kid's hair in a much shorter time than I could do while making the experience light and fun. We'll be back. We recommend this place :)

She just used scissors and combs in the cart from her first client on my kid. Also, she tried to reuse the same bib from the client before us. Really really not okay or clean. 2. She had asked us if we wanted a 2 or 3 and we said we didn't know what that meant, so she pulled out the clippers and cut his hair saying "this is a 3". But we had just said we didn't want clippers - she could've explained without using the clippers on him first. 3. She ran almost 20 minutes long with the person ahead of us and was pretty nonchalant about it. No "sorry for the wait!" or anything. I haven't noticed these in the past so there needs to be some serious retraining of the staff. I don't feel comfortable bringing my kids here anymore though.
