I ordered some Chinese take out basics and they wiffed badly. Teriyaki beef on a stick was chewy and flavored only by the sauce on the "meat." Nit sure what the meat was. Pork egg roll a d shrimp spring roll didn't taste like they contained protein and the veggie tasted more like a veggie paste. And I ordered Spicy Szechuan Chicken as entree - a house specialty. I asked for medium heat just to be cautious. NO HEAT! And the chicken was chewy. At least it looked very appetizing. The service was equally poor. I ordered from the website which ended up being through a site called Beyond Menu. It allowed me to select a time for my food to be ready. I made the time selection and arrived right on time. Upon arrival I was informed that they cannot promise a time when food will be reedy.I told them they should remove the option from their website. Our normal place was closed with the COVID-19 so I was just happy to find a place that delivered and has good reviews. The food was good. Great little neighborhood Chinese spot. They have a good "dinner for one" deal that runs between $8-$10 and includes entree, fried rice, and 2 sides (soup, egg roll, etc). You can get all white meat chicken for a small up charge. You get a lot of food for the money and they don't mind custom requests (i.e. I get my fried rice with no egg and only onions) Nothing fancy here for sure but I've never been let down by the food or service (pickup or delivery). Veggies and meats always taste very fresh. I love their krab rangoons, the filling is very tasty. Chicken fried rice and lo mein are always my staple base dishes and love how they are always cooked right. Singapore noodles is one of my favs when i want to try something different. I used the app encouraged on their website (beyond menu) and placed an order at 7:11pm... 8:23 comes around and I call them to figure out what's going on. They said they didn't receive the order until 7:50. Of course, I call BeyondMenu to see if this was true and they said nope, they were definitely sent the order at 7:11. The order finally gets here at 8:31 --- wrong drinks (ordered coke, received Pepsi), wrong appetizer (ordered spring rolls, received veg egg rolls); wrong flavors (ordered 1 "very spicy" general tso's and 1 mild, both were exactly the same mild flavor). Love the food from this place. I've been ordering takeout from this spot for at least 10 years, and it's always been good. I've had ONE time where my food was not as expected, but I guess that can happen to the best of places. Their pricing is fair, and they are very willing and understanding with special omissions or additions to food. I highly recommend it! You can even order online through the Yelp app which is amazing if you're not in the mood to make a phone call, or if you like to see your last few orders before ordering. The only reason I haven't given this place five stars is because I wish their dining area was nicer. It's hard to give serious judgement to local Chinese houses like this. They are all basically the exact same thing, down to the menus and exact ingredients and style dishes.
