I would give ZERO stars. Horrible service. I hired for a deep cleaning and paid $365. 2 ladies came for 6 hours. On the surface it looked ok. I spilled water the next morning and wiped it up and the paper towel was black. I then went to steam the floor with a steam mop. The pads got filthy and the tile floor was caked with soap. All my tile floors were like this. Window sills left filthy. Stove top dirty. Furniture clearly not moved. I can go on and on. I requested a refund and was told no they do not do that. They offered to send back the same ladies. Yea right. They offered a credit. NO WAY WOULD I EVER HAVE THEM AGAIN. I am still waiting for a response from them. Services read more

I used this company for almost 7 years and most of the time was very pleased. Donna who answers the phone was very helpful. Recently I had a cleaning that was so bad that I asked for my money back. Donna told me that she valued my as a long time customer and going forward would only send me people that she could personally recommend. I made another appointment through Donna. No one showed up and I was told by another employee that answers the phone when Donna is off, that It was my fault because I complained. I thought I might hear from Donna because of our long time relationship, but nothing. I am doing my best with house cleaning on my own. We left for the day to give the cleaner some time alone without her feeling as though we were breathing down her neck. We came back around 3 hours after we left with some laundry we had done and asked her to put it away. I was a bit concerned because when I came back just the galley kitchen had been done. I told her "broad strokes" several times meaning I was more interested in things being put away than any sort of deep clean. As you can see from the images at the top, this was the result of 9 hours of cleaning. Our bedroom was completely untouched, none of the clothes were put away, and most of my belongings were in garbage bags. Naturally, I called immediately after she left. They apologized and said the manager would call me on Monday with a solution. Fine. Monday came, nothing. Tuesday came, nothing. On Wednesday we got a $35 refund but still no call. I assume most people who use this service don't have a money issue, they have a time issue so the small refund was completely unhelpful. I tried to call to speak to Donna, the manager, but she wasn't available. I was told she would call me after 2, then nothing. This was starting to feel like not the best use of my time. It's Saturday, one week after the cleaning, and I finally call in anger because no one has called me or attempted to correct the issue. The woman I called said, "You know what? We're all tired of hearing about it (I've called 3 times since Saturday only asking to speak to Donna). We gave you a discount. What more do you want?" So this Saturday I'm going to be taking nearly all my belongings out of garbage bags wasting the little free time I have. Essentially, I paid them $115 for nothing. DO NOT USE THEM! (good) impressions it is not...I was recommended to this company from a friend in the neighborhood; so I called on a Monday morning, was given an appointment of 9:00/9:30 the following day. Tuesday comes, it's 9:58, and no one is in sight. I called the office, they call the cleaning person assigned to my house (Ruth) and tell me she's walking and will be there soon. 10:45...no one in sight. I call again, and we go through the same thing again. Finally, 10:55 she shows up, doesn't tell me her name even though I ask. I realized at that moment, that she doesn't speak english. Now, I have a high tolerance for accents (I'm first generation) and will generally get by and be very patient when someone is trying to communicate with me. However, Ruth doesn't have a grasp of the very basic words to communicate what needed to be done. So, I move on, show her where all my cleaning items are, and she gets started in the kitchen. 30 minutes go by, and I notice her trying to use the microwave. I come into the kitchen, and realize it's to heat up her food. I'm not an unreasonable person, and let her eat her food, and at least she took 15 minutes to do so. Moving along, another 30 minutes go by and she asks where the bathroom is. I direct her, she gets started in there. In the meantime, I'm in the kitchen and realize that she's only cleaned the toaster (in that she's dumped the crumbs into my kitchen sink) and she's filled up a metal bowl (that's valuable and only for display purposes) with water & soap, and she's used 1/2 a roll of bounty to clean...what I can see...NOTHING. Not a single appliance was cleaned/wiped down, not a single countertop. I head into the bathroom, and again NOTHING has been done. I'm fed up at this point and call the office. I notify the office of what's happened (well more of what hasn't happened) and they ask what I want to do. I let them know that she needs to leave. A few minutes go by and the office calls me back b/c they can't reach her; so I transfer the phone to her, they speak and I tell her "thank you" and assume she's leaving. She starts to clean the stove top...I tell her "No, I'm sorry, stop working, you can leave now." Again, no grasp of what I'm saying, I call the office tell them to please ask her to leave, and she finally leaves. The office stated she's one of their best...if my experience is an indication of what they consider to be the best, then there's a HUGE problem and they should consider going into another line of business. read more

I found this company through Craigslist. I made an appointment for a studio apartment and they came the very next day. The lady was early for the appointment and finished in good time. My studio apartment took 4 hours to complete. The cleaning was not perfect - still some dusty areas and not as thorough as I would have liked. But I think the service still seems to be pretty reliable and the price is fair. You can either provide all the cleaning supplies or they can bring it for a minimal fee. I had them bring the cleaning supplies while I provided a broom, a mop, paper towels and sponges. I would recommend this service, but I also think there are better ones out there. read more

PROS -Easy to get a cleaner at the last minute -Cheap- $60 for three hours with each additional hour a little less -They keep records of who cleaned for you when in case you want to request the same person (or avoid the same person) -They take credit cards and you can put a tip on your card after the fact if you are happy with the work -Everyone I have dealt with there has been super nice. I have used Good Impressions for many years and overall I am very happy with their service. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the cleaners they have on staff range from amazing to not so great and it can take a bit of trying until you find the right person... Quality control could use a bit of an upgrade there. I use the service regularly for my own home and have them also used for a friends house and recommended them to friends. Donna who usually answers the phone is amazing and very accommodating. Over the years I had 3 girl that left the company and I had to find a new one, which is not so great but was worth the effort. The company calls ahead and lately uses text messaging to confirm the appointment. Very reliable and neat. You can chose to provide your own supplies or they will bring what is needed. Do not use this company. After putting the arrival time back by an hour, they arrived over half an hour late. I had requested 2 cleaners, only one showed up. (The other arrived well over an hour later, by which time I no longer wanted her.) The woman who came did not have the cleaning product that I had requested for my terra cotta kitchen floor. She did not have any means of cleaning dust from the walls -- this was a post-renovation job. and she had a poor grasp of English. Clearly did not understand what I asked her to do or not do. When I called the office to re-negotiate the fee, they expected me to pay the full price, including extra to meet their minimum of 3 hours, even tho the cleaner was only here for 2 1/2. I am so glad I found this cleaning service! My home needed a thorough cleaning after having been in long term recovery from a surgery. The company sent me 2 people who were able to make my home shine! In particular, I highly recommend Blondine, who was so approachable, friendly and a good listener. I was able to show her specific things that needed cleaning that may have been difficult but she was willing to try and it ended up being simple! There were a few tough cleaning spots and she simply went over it the one more time that it needed. She was very professional. I look forward to her coming back to clean my home again. THEIR CLEANER STOLE $300 FROM US!! We used Good Impressions numerous times based on a recommendation from someone who lived in our building. In general, their cleaners were ok but they are reasonably priced. We finally found Mary, who we thought did a good job cleaning our apartment. HOWEVER, SHE ENDED UP STEALING $300 FROM US! We confronted her directly, and she denied it. We then called Donna in their office and she said that because we did not report it immediately, she would not pay us back the $300. The only reason why we didn't want to call Donna immediately was because we wanted to confront Mary directly and not get her in trouble, particularly just before the holidays. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN GOOD IMPRESSIONS, and I hope that this review warns you not to use them as they defend their employees who steal from customers. read more

I just read everyone's review on Good Impressions and I felt the same way about them until the second time they did my daughters home....Her basement consist of one room with couch and tv on the wall, half bath and laundry room...and we're not in disarray or filth...2 cleaners took 5 hrs! So bizarre.. I was told I had someone who could do laundry, but when I returned hom (the cleaner left early) there were soap powder stains all over the clothes. When I complained they decided that ruinin clothes wasn't really their problem. And , while, they were insured for things like this they would be unable to help. HORRIBLE!!! I used them once and had a horrible experience. I have a 2 bedroom condo. I am a very neat person (the type who cleans for the cleaning lady). They gave me an estimate of 5 maybe 6 hours. Which was fine. Until 7 hours had passed and the lady had only done my kitchen and livingroom. I'm very surprised at all the good ratings for this company. I used them for my new home which was empty with not one piece of furniture. I gave specific instructions on exactly what I wanted clean and they told me it would take 6 hours with 2 people. Over $250 later and what couldn't be seen with the naked eye was nothing other than gross. They didn't pull the drawers out of the refrigerator if they even cleaned that at all. The granite countertops were still FILTHY. When I ran a paper towel over it, it was actually black. Ironically the woman in the video is cleaning behind the toilet bowl, yet that didn't happen here. I should've given the $250 to a babysitter and cleaned the house myself. So as the old saying goes, if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself! read more

Horrible Service! I've included what I sent to the BBB!! On October 18th 2012 I had two employees from Good Impressions Cleaning in my home to complete a post-renovation cleaning in my newly renovated, empty home. Upon my return I noticed deep etching on my kitchen floor after I had gotten on my hands and knees to examine why the floor still looked so dirty. I then notice a large oil stain on my new granite countertop. Earlier in the day I did notice that one of the cleaning women had her lunch with her (very inappropriate to eat in a customer's home). I immediately confronted the cleaning women and one could not verbalize in English what happened and the other became defensive and stormed out. I then call Donna (the office manager) and explained the problem. She then informed me of their protocol and requested I e-mail her picture's and she would discuss this with the owner and get back to me. I followed her instruction and e-mails pictures and called a few days later to follow up. Donna then asked me a few more questions and further described what would happen next, and mentioned they would have someone come in and take a look at the damages in my home. Weeks later I never heard back, I then emailed her on November 11th and then again on November 13th to no avail. I called on November 13th and was then told that they did not look into this claim, would not accept responsibility for it and it was no longer their issue because I "took too long to get back to them" and "the owners were busy with other things" I was also reassured by Donna that she did extensive research on granite stains and it could not have been their crew that damaged my property". I asked repeatedly to speak to the owners and if this issue would be raised again with them and Donna informed me that it wouldn't and she would not look into this issue because " the owners had other issues to deal with and so does everyone else". I then informed Donna that I would take further action by letting the Better Business Bureau know of their lack of ethics, morality and unprofessionalism when confronted with such issues as these. read more

Donna, the cleaning lady came in late, as you know. Took her time to get ready to clean. Then she asked me, what do I want cleaned. Told her the kitchen, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, the wall units dusted. The floor vacuumed. She asked about the oven! She could not get the broiler door opened. I told her forget the broiler, but clean the oven. She also broke the mirror glass shelf, as you know. Try to get a replacement; will let you the cost. I had to leave at 2:30pm this is when she started cleaning the half bathroom. She told me she would do the full bathroom. I said OK, but then I left at 2:45pm. Told her she could work the whole 6 hours and to finish the apartment and close the door. WELL, Donna when I got back to apt much later on and checked around, the OVEN was NOT cleaned! The racks were. The microwave was not cleaned. She took 4 hours in the kitchen alone! I had to dust the whole wall unit, the TV & TV entertainment table. The headboard in the bedroom. I had already windexed the porch glass door and the mirror counter in Living room. Did not want to take a chance on that. She also did not vacuum the bedroom rug! I will not be using your service again. The online advertisement is great, but the real job is not. Again, will let you know the replacement cost for the mirror glass shelf in kitchen. Glad you can sleep at night charging me $105 for 1 1/2 bath rooms and kitchen counter, refrigerator and moping of 4 floors! Ridiculous! Nothing like your company's video show! I feel robbed! You have the audacity of calling me this morning to tell me you're going to charge me an additional charge of $49.00 for cleaning supplies? I am speechless. read more
