He did not follow up after repeated calls about a faulty "new" breaker he installed for our hot tub, after installing an undersized one first that caused unresolved trouble for months. Cost us $$$$ in guest refunds and new electrical work. Also just found that he didn't bother to seal around the new electrical components on the roof for a new panel he had installed, causing a major roof leak. Didn't return our calls for help with that either, but I see he has new paying Yelpers keeping him busy. We paid him thousands over the past year. Very, very disappointed so now warning others.

He's willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything is in working order and then some -- when he was here working on my swamp coolers, he even fixed a random bit of my roof that he noticed was broken right before he was supposed to be leaving, just out of the kindness of his heart and at no expense to me. He really takes his time to make sure everything is good to go and communicates thoroughly so that there aren't any questions left by the time he's finished. His attitude and honesty and willingness to help in a town where a lot of similar businesses are just interested in making big dollars and blow off the 'small' jobs is so needed and appreciated. It is obvious that he just wants to be a good dude and help the people in his community as much as possible. The handyman I had previously found online was going to charge just as much or even more, so I figured I might as well go with a licensed professional to replace the old flourescent bulbs with LED ones, removing the ballast, rewiring and replacing the old tombstones with new ones. They came over on time, working as a team to get it done as soon as possible. I learned that Tory, Lou's son, is a Marine Veteran, and had a good conversation with him while he was working as I'm a retired Marine Master Sergeant myself. The job was done quickly and efficiently, they cleaned up after themselves and took the old flourescent bulbs, ballasts, and new bulb boxes with them to dispose of at no extra charge, and Lou gave me a military discount as well. Their excellent work, great attitude, and reasonable pricing with a military discount has ensured that they will be my first call if I ever have any electric problems in the future. I highly recommend Lou and Tory for all your electric repair/replacement needs. Sometimes you just get that rare opportunity where true professionals work for you, and this was one of those times.
