We hired James and his partners twice. Once to move my mother in law's stuff in her 3200 Sq foot home into the garage. The second time to move the stuff from public storage to her new house. They were booked when we needed to move the furniture into public storage and we were forced to hire someone else. Someone we regret hiring. They provided a 2 man team for the same price per hour as the three man team from Good Movers. It took the 2 man team half the day to move half the garage onto their van while it took Good Movers half a day to disassemble furniture and move everything from around the house into the garage. The 2 man team did not wrap most of the material before loading it on to the van. They had to send another team the next day because they couldn't finish in one day. All told we paid more than double what we paid Good movers for the second time to move stuff from 2 public storage facilities around town to our home and they did it all in one day. Can't recommend them any more highly. Good movers also installed our laundry and reassembled our furniture that they disassembled the first time they came. I won't consider anyone else to move my things. read more

I am beyond pleased with what James and his team had done they were very professional. They covered the entry doorway, hardwood floor, rails on the stairs and took care of everything to move from a two story house to another two story house. This is one of the first Yelp reviews that I've ever posted. These guys have moved my mom twice: from her rental to storage, and then from storage to her new apartment. I can't say enough good things. They show up when they say they will, they work hard but carefully, and they are personally nice to deal with. My mom, bordering on senior citizenship, had them re-arranging heavy furniture to get things into just the right spot. I (her son) would have lost patience, but these guys were friendly and cool as the day is long. We ran long on the hours also, but they were very fair with the bill. Good Movers was top notch! James was very responsive from the point I first reached out to him and until his services were completed. James and Denny showed up at the right time and got right to work. They worked extremely hard and were very efficient. They packed our 26 ft UHaul truck and it was the best packing job I have ever seen. They brought their plastic wrap which protected our belongings for our move from Elk Grove to Fresno. Everything was protected and loaded in 3 hours, I know for a fact that I would not have been able to fit everything in that truck if I did not hire them. Also, if I had tried to move with myself plus a friend, we would of spent an additional 2-3 hours trying to arrange everything in the truck. It was clear that they knew what they were doing and they both worked quickly and cohesively.
