Regarding their snow removal/snow preparedness...they send out crews of 6-8 guys in a truck who could give a single $&?! Where they're salting and are just dumping piles of salt as they go. They left a pile on my mom's doormat for some unknown reason. There's a dog in the house this stuff is toxic and there is no regard for that. When I was I driving down the road, they had their truck just parked at a stop sign blocking traffic with the door open so I could not see around their vehicle. Truly no regard for people, pets, lawns, anything. Steer clear and avoid. This company hires cheap labor to do their work and those laborers do not care and have no incentive to care. This is likely why it pays to use a BBB accredited business because if you don't you end up with some unsavory exploitative company like Good Mowin that cuts every corner possible. read more

11/23/22...After the unfortunate events involving my late father's tree, the HOA and Good Mowin sent my mother a very thoughtful memorial stone with my fathers name and a nice message. They also replanted a tree where the other one was, the same type of tree that was planted by my late father. Our family very much appreciated this offering and their apology. I would give this company negative stars if I could. I live in a 55+ community in Wayside. Good Mowin got the lawn and landscape contract for our community this year. In this first year, they have RUINED every lawn in the place (look at the pictures...every lawn looks like this). Sprinklers go off after 9:AM (what is the point...it all evaporates)...sprinkler heads are broken. Crabgrass is EVERYWHERE, along with dead patches of grass. I have no idea how this will be remedied, but I am hoping to see something positive happen, and hopefully a different company with the contract next year. read more

Wish I could give no stars . This company is terrible . They are hired to do grass and leaves at my apartment complex I live in . They are very inconsiderate and blow leaves on everyone porch , under the doors and even on people . When I called to complain the owner was very defensive and non apologetic. Terrible service. Incomplete and sloppy job EVERY TIME. They tell management companies that jobs are complete when in fact they are not. They cut corners and intentionally do sloppy and terrible work, and on top of that, they leave the site without even coming back to complete the job. DO NOT RECOMMEND. DISHONEST. Good Mowin has been contractually obligated to mow my lawn and the lawns in my community every 2 weeks. They have not mowed here for 4 weeks. The grass is now quite high and full of ticks. I recommend that you do not do business with them. read more

I would have gave them NO STARS if I could ! They Don't show up when they should. They don't have the man power to the jobs, in my community I have gone 4 weeks with out a mowing at times. The grass and weeds have been half way up to my knees at times. And they don't do good work,the edging is joke ! THEY ARE TERRIBLE !!!! I am the president of the Woods at Laurel Condo association and we use this Company. We take great pride in our community and this company is an embarrassment. They regularly miss mowing day and we have to call just a foot high! The lawns are full of weeds and crab grass. I literally just measured the grass and it is a foot high behind my home. They are the worst I'm not sure if they're street cleanup or lawn cleanup after they mow and weed whack they go around blowing all the crap in the street back into the yards ex...cigarette butts and garbage... I would've chosen zero stars but that was not an option. We had heard a loud crashing noise a couple weeks ago while Good Mowin was cutting the grass & immediately went out to see what was the cause. Initially we inspected the new skirts we recently had installed around our home & found nothing. A couple days later we saw a puncture & scrape marks on the rear driver's side tail light. We contacted the Pineridge office who referred us to Good Mowin, the company they employ to cut grass in their complex. A gentleman arrived from the company, took pictures & mentioned that we should take our car to an auto body shop in Jackson, and he was call us back this week to give us their address. Now today, another rep from Good Mowin came out & noticed damage on our other vehicle & made the assumption that "someone" in our family is a bad driver and essentially dismissed our claim. We still maintain that their mower hit something that became airborne & that projectile caused the damage. When the ower of Good Mowin arrived at our home today he asked me what I think happened & explained the details as we knew them. Without hesitation he immediately called me a liar...he also reminded me several times that he "owns" the company. I countered that I too own a company & would NEVER call a client/customer a liar. I may doubt their story, but would not even consider stating someone is a liar. Bill, from Good Mowin, doesn't know me, has never met me or know anything about my background but without hesitation accused me of lying to him. Good mowin does my neighbor and the lawn looks great if they return my call I can give them my business in a heart beat

I live in a senior community. they were under contract to mow our lawns every week to 10 days. They have cut my lawn once since May. They are unreliable and do a lousy job. I have had to pay for an outside source even though it is supposed to be in a maintainence. Look for another company if you want a good and reliable job. Who, mows, blows leaves and debri's on a rainy day. Apparently they do. Leaves, sticks and leaves were left all over my cars, my decking, stairs and handrails. My outside window sill/encasements had debris all over, along with the bottom half of my home. My neighbor's ac unit was covered with debris also. The guys who run the riding mowers fly thru the grass between the homes carelessly. If you have a nice flower garden outside, you may find yourself having a nice mess after they are done. I wish our community could get rid of them. I hear more bad than good from the neighbors. The only good is a sigh of release that they managed not to destroy something. read more

Worst company EVER! They have no respect for people's property, do not care how the job looks, very unfriendly! Shame! A week or so ago they ran over a stump, it came out of the yard and hit my house. Ok stuff happens but they didn't even say anything to me, but I was home and heard it. Unreliable. Say they will do things in a certain time frame and do not. One mow a week is really one mow every two and a half weeks. Grass has grown up to my knees sometimes. Bills for work not done. My mower broke unexpectedly just before the end of the season. Good mowin had done my chemical application for the current summer so I called them about cutting my grass for two to three weeks. They added me into their rotation immediately and showed up the same day. These guys have quite a bit of work it would appear because I see them around town all the time so it was a pleasant surprise when they reacted so fast with no obligation for the following season. Furthermore, dealing with Nicole on the phone was a pleasure and if not for her follow through of course my experience would not have turned out the way it did.
