Came for the first time for the Christmas pop-up. Was able to get a seat at the bar, but service was just alright. A lot of people behind not doing much but not talking to us either. The cocktails were just okay, they didn't come with the garnishes as pictured, and tasted not much of alcohol, mostly like juice. The vibe was adorable, really nicely decorated, but I think the other aspects of the visit were subpar, perhaps they are burnt out and just trying to serve as maybe people possible? So I'd give it 3.5 stars, which was fun to check out, but probably won't be rushing back. read more

After having my second baby- mama almost NEVER gets to go out anymore! lol last time I went to this location jt was Ram Brewing... years ago! Decided to meet friends here on a Friday night for the Xmas bar. At 9 o'clock at night it was already SO loud we couldn't hear each other talk. We go upstairs and it's packed everywhere- but there is nobody on the dance floor ,and people are lounging around playing on their cell phones!! It was so bizarre. The vibe was not it. Way too loud, nobody dancing. Strange music choices. In terms of drinks- it was a bit overpriced for what you get. I tried three of the Christmas themed beverages and they were made well, but at one point, something a little weird happened: I ordered an espresso martini for my friend and the bartender handed me one that was premade and placed behind the bar. Thought that was weird. The other drinks were made to order. Lots of cute photo ops and fun decor but maybe not a place to meet friends for conversation! This bar is great because people of all ages hang out at this place, not just the youngsters. Everyone there has a good time. The bar has a 70s vibe. Don't go here if you want your card charged without you even being there. Went there on the 28th of March and paid my tab after we got done for $29 and some change. Well I have my bank app set up to send me a notification every time it gets charged and I saw a notification the next morning that I made a charge at 2 am for $45. The Christmas theme they have up is super cute and well done! We had fun and they played lots of 2000 throwback music, but DJ definitely had some weird transitions sometimes thatd kill the vibe. My friends protected a girl from some random guy assaulting her, and security did a good job removing them from the premises after a brief investigation. read more

A really cool 70's "bar"/club with two dance floors. A lot of security around. Their entire food menu and drink menu also follows this 70's theme - including multiple sizes of the "Champagne of Beers", Miller High Life, and mix Miller High Life drinks. No one was dancing when I was here, but the ambiance was still fantastic. I'd imagine it might get a bit louder and hectic if people are dancing. PROS: -The ambiance is killer. They knocked this one out of the PARK. If you're looking for a 70's-style bar, every inch of this place delivers. From the disco dance floor to the flat-screen TVs pretending to be old TVs while playing 70s clips -Super cool food options. You could, potentially, make an entire meal out of eating here, but I think most people will find these meals to be more up the "I've been drinking and want a snack" vein. Things like bowls of Honey Nut Cheerios, "Restaurant" TV dinners, and more. The entire food menu made us smile. -Really unique experience in general. I've seen beers here I've never seen, and I've seen cocktail "ideas" I'll probably never see again. (Miller High Lifes drizzled in hot sauce????) -Their "Shaggin' Wagon" drink tastes like a Moscow Mule with Mezcal, and it was a table favorite. CONS: -The majority of the restrooms are located upstairs. If you're on the large first floor area, this means trekking upstairs to pee. There's a single-stall, all-gender restroom on the first floor. -A few drinks are only available during daylight hours - at least that's what the bartender told us. These off-limits evening drinks aren't marked on the menu, so it was a bit confusing what we were "allowed" to order. read more

We were looking for lunch on a Saturday during the buckeye game, walked by GNJB, saw it was finally opened, and gave it a shot! We split their version of a happy meal and it was so cute. A burger, fries, and toy. Our toy was a mini rubix cube. So cute. The burger was actually good. I will admit, I was surprised. I wasn't expecting much but the meat itself tasted fresh. I ordered a drink in a light up disco ball. It was fine, but I more so wanted the cup. The bar/club itself stays very true to the theme. Do not go here unless you want manhandled by the staff and disrespected by the younger patrons. My friends and I were wrongfully thrown (literally) out of this establishment after we told this couple that those seats were ours. 5 mins later two bouncers are picking me and my friend up (we are 110lbs small girls) and throwing us onto the street. No one should be treated like that especially over nothing. Strangers around us were defending us saying we didn't do anything wrong, the bouncers didn't care they were throwing us out regardless. We had waited weeks to go there for the Christmas themed bar and had planned on getting a table for New Year's, not anymore. I will never go back to this establishment. read more

RIP Seesaw. Good Night John Boy is a decent club, but you 100% have to go upstairs if you want to actually club at all. There is a dance floor on the 1st floor, but even on a busy Friday night there were 0-4 people dancing on it at any given point. I'm not a fan of joints that select people out of a long line to go upstairs first. Thanks for the flirt ig, but it felt gross that my group was taken from the complete back of the line to cut in front of dozens of other (male and female) customers. Depending on your appearance and the bouncers' whims, you could be waiting for a very long time. (To everyone in front of us: you are gorgeous. And I'm sorry.) Upstairs is just as colorful as downstairs, but that darker club feel. There is a large, fun dance floor with a nice crowd without being overly packed. There's also a balcony, large bar, and plenty of seating. Overall, fun, colorful place, but the vibes are off downstairs, especially in line. read more

Just had a date party there, great atmosphere and music! There was plenty of space to move around and dance.

Went here spur of the moment with a group of girlfriends all celebrating our close girlfriend for her Bachelorette party. I had previously been to this location when it was SeeSaw and was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it looked. Luckily for us there were some VIP spots open- so I went up to one of the staff to ask them how to reserve one. I just want to say as someone who has been to many clubs/bars in my younger years and interacted with staff and management in the VIP sections, this BY FAR was the best interaction I have had. The man who helped us all night was Max, he was so sweet and helpful and put up with all of our antics and did everything he could to make our night amazing. And while all of the servers were great, Jac went way out of her way to make sure not only the bride had an unforgettable night, but that all of us had a great time. There was also a bouncer in the section behind the DJ where we were at (his name escapes me at this point in time) but he was also wonderful in keeping people out and helping us at the end of the night. What a joke. It is always so funny to see young people running a themed establishment with absolutely no connection or recollection of said time period. I lived during the 70's and believe me, this ain't it. Unfriendly staff with zero personality, chairs that would make you opt to stand on your head rather than sit, and to top it off, we waited for 15 minutes before a "server" condescended to wait on us. Probably texting or on her cell phone. That's mostly all anyone under the age of 40 can do now.
