Very unique flavors and combinations. Definitely something for everyone. I went with a Vietnamese iced coffee with an ube cloud (cloud is their version of a cold foam). It was absolutely delicious! The coffee was nice and strong and the ube cloud added the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness without being cloying. It was one of the best iced coffees I've had in a very long time. Great atmosphere and vibe here. Yes it's on the small size but it's cozy and well decorated. We were greeted right away as soon as we entered and the worker was very nice and pleasant. We opted for the affogato and it was "ok". Nothing wrong with it but there was also nothing exceptional about it. I felt that $8 was a little pricey but I know some places charge more. If I could I would give this a 3.75 but it's not quite a 4 so I'm rating a 3. I will say, it was cute inside. People were studying and working at the tables. The couch had super cute plushies and I honestly wanted them in my house. The two baristas were pleasant but were also very engrossed in a conversation with each other. It seemed mostly work related, but it's a small space so it was a little overwhelming. The menu had a lot of cool things on it. I will say I wish I had gotten something else. I got cold brew with brown sugar foam, and the cold brew was really weak and watered down. It's for sure not what they are known for, so I think that was my bad. Favorite coffee shop in Orlando. I love vietnamese coffee, and they offer the best in town hands down. It's a perfect ratio of strong espresso/sweetness, but not super sweet, the right amount. I have tried possibly all their cloud iced lattes. Top 3 would be: Cinnamon roll Tiramisu Brown sugar It's a small shop, however you can tell the owner truly cares about the coffee quality and service. The coffee was delicious, had the right about or sweet and coffee flavor. Almost identical to a cozy cloud offered by lineage. But here has way more flavors on the menu to try. From the outside you can't tell this place is small but definitely cozy and very inviting once you are inside. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cookie and croissant- but this isn't a bakery. So I suggest getting a coffee from here taking a few steps to Publix to get a bakery item from there though. Prices are the same as lineage but if you don't want to drive to a lineage this place is definitely better than a Starbucks ice coffee in the same plaza. I stopped in at Kool Bear at the recommendation of my uncle and I'm so happy I made time in my day to come by. The cashier was so sweet and immediately greeted me and helped me pick something to order. The interior is small but cozy with a few of tables and couches for seating options. We were so excited about this place since noticed about its grand opening. We ordered the small portion of the Bạch Đằng (because supplies were run out) and tiramisu cafe. Everything was taste so right that I have nothing to complain. It been awhile that I couldn't even remember, the last time I tried something for the first time and already knew it's a must come back. Owners and staffs were extremely friendly and helpful with explaining the menu to us. The shop itself is tiny, but there are some small tables outside which is kinda nice. Highly recommended!!!! I have seen the logo for quite some time and with the name "Kool Bear" for whatever reason, I thought that it was an air conditioning (HVAC) company. I honestly don't know why, but oh well. Anyway, this is a good little spot and definitely a nice addition to this little strip mall. I am a fan of ice cream and this place definitely that's some good ice cream. The service is also very friendly. Since it is in the shopping plaza, parking is not an issue. For a landmark, look for the Publix on Curry Ford Road not far from Dean Road and across the street from the Aldi. This little businesses located on the corner of the shopping plaza where the Publix is the anchor store. All in all, I am going to give this business four stars. I would also definitely recommend here. If you find yourself on Curry Ford around the Dean Road area, give them a chance. read more

Me and my sister went to Kool Bear for the first time today. I saw this place on instagram and as soon as I saw Vietnamese coffee and Ube cold foam, I knew I had to try it. We got there at about 5:30 and there were only a couple of people there so we went at a good time. This place is located in a shopping center so there was plenty amount of parking. I got the Vietnamese coffee with Ube cold foam and my sister got the tiramisu vietnamese coffee. I really enjoyed mine, they both came with oat milk but the cold foam was made with regular milk. The coffee itself was delicious and I enjoyed the creaminess of the cold foam. I enjoyed the tiramisu coffee a tad bit more than mine. I really liked the marscapone cold foam. I would like to try their matcha with the Ube cold foam next! The workers there were super nice, and did mention that this shop had a new management. I only give it 4 stars since we tried to use a Yelp check in coupon and weren't able to use it. Overall, it was a nice experience and their coffee was delicious! read more

The selection for ice cream is good and their concoctions are were amazingly good. Now they are Good Roast at Kool Bear and have several Korean coffee drinks. Their chocolate ice cream was AMAZING!! One of the best I have ever had. I'm picky about ice cream but this one is absolutely worth recommending! The chocolate flavor was very rich and tasty. I'm new to the area and saw this shop and knew I had to check it out. It's small, but is a nice little spot to hang out with a few tables and some couches as well. I got the tiramisu cloud latte, and my boyfriend got a passion fruit boba tea. They were both fantastic. The boba tea had a great flavor without being overly sweet and the latte was delicious! I could tell the coffee was super good quality - it had a strong coffee flavor with zero bitterness, and the mascarpone cold foam gave it a perfect touch of sweetness. It's a bit pricier than some of the major coffee chains, but the quality blows them out of the water and tbh, I'd much rather spend $$ on local businesses than a big corporation anyway. I've always wanted to try this place since it opened, but I was never sure if the establishment was even open because they always have like curtains. I finally got the chance and I was unfortunately displeased. I guess it was my fault because I shouldn't have gotten Boba at a place that doesn't specialize in Boba. But it was a powder mix, the tapioca pearls were pretty good but the drink itself I would not recommend I got a brown sugar latte I believe. The owner was training someone so there was a bit of a wait which I didn't mind but then you would think that you would've been compensated for the wait by perhaps getting a bigger size or even more tapioca balls but no sadly. I sampled one of their ice cream flavors I don't know if it was just the one that I tried but it kind of tasted like freezer. I really want to like this place because it's so close to my house and it's so cute inside but my first experience was not too good.
