Another Downtown Winter Park gem. This cute little bakery is adorable. They have outdoor seating and offer happy hour treats. I got an oat milk chai tea and cookie to go. The celebration cookie was a little dry and crumbled similar to a natures valley granola bar but tasted great. The chai tea was one of the best i've ever had. The service was friendly and she helped me decide between the chai and matcha. I'm glad I went with her choice because I will definitely be back.

Choulala Pastries was a stop on a recent food tour. We're local and had never noticed this cute little bakery. We were served a raspberry pastry by a very sweet employee. The pastry was lovely! Each looked gorgeous and delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more.

5 stars for an amazing French pastry shop right on Park Ave. I can't help but pop in and snag myself a few sweet treats whenever I'm in the area. Stephanie is such a talented pastry chef and all the desserts are stunning. They specialize in macarons, choux cream puffs, and eclairs in a large variety of flavors. They also serve lunch/sandwiches along with gelato & sorbet, coffee, tea, and wine. My favorite way to enjoy Choulala is grabbing a table right on the avenue with a bottle of bubbly and bunch of treats to snack on... true Paris vibes! I got an assortment of macarons and cream puffs during my last visit: Macarons: Toasted marshmallow, pistachio, coconut, and blueberry cheesecake Choux: Coffee crunch, passionfruit, bananas foster, and biscoff Every single one was delish!

The pastries and sweet treats here are incredible. Fantastic selection and assortment, they even have gelato! The seasonal selection is also great around the holidays. I will say they are on the pricier side, but the quality is great and I certainly couldn't make some of these items with the care and skill that they do! They got a new espresso machine and I was so excited to try their coffee, but unfortunately AWFUL. They couldn't make the first few items I selected because they didn't have the ingredients and what they created was impressive the worst coffee I have ever had. Stick with the baked goods and I promise you will be happy. Order coffee at your own risk.

I've seen Choulala's dessert flights on Insta and was excited to give them a try, but overall the experience was a little underwhelming. It's a cute bakery with friendly staff but a fairly limited assortment of pastries/desserts though definitely a wide variety of flavors. Given the name I figured I had to try the chou puffs so I ordered the bananas foster, passionfruit, and creme brulee. The creme brulee was probably my favorite of the bunch though the passionfruit was the most memorable - it was extremely tart! They weren't bad but it was $11.50 (incl tax) for 3 little bite sized pastries - and I get it they're complicated desserts and take time/effort to make but for me the experience wasn't worth the price.

I came here with high hopes. I pass by this shop on my way home nearly every day. The outside Of the building is pretty unassuming. It's easy to see the sign on the street, but the building is a bit small with an odd to navigate parking lot. The young lady at the counter was helpful and kind. The service was pretty standard. Pick your pastries from the case, total it up at the end. I got a Tiramisu eclair, Banana Choulala and Creme Brûlée Choulala, Almeretto Choulala. They were all pretty tasty, but a bit underwhelming. The eclair didn't have much of a coffee taste to make it Tiramisu, but it had a good cocoa flavor. The Choulalas themselves were perfect. They had a wonderful crunch and a soft inside. The Almetetto and creme brûlée were good, but the banana had an awful artificial flavor. I'm glad I gave them a try, but I won't be back. Maybe it was high hopes, but this was disappointing for the price.

    Just take the whole tray!

Went with my niece on a Saturday afternoon. Gorgeous little bakery with a great menu and coffee too! The place is small but tidy and chic; very "Choulala" for sure. Their staff is so friendly. We ordered a little box of assorted macarons. I had a mocha flavored cold brew. My niece had a hot coffee and we sat outside enjoying a lovely Saturday afternoon. They offer pastries, crepes, gelato... Just take a look at their menu in my pictures. You'll love everything. I'm definitely going to try everything in their menu, so I'll be back!

the cutest place ever, the food was great the ambiance was so cute and so the service was amazing

Very dry Eclair and big chuck of no balance cake.

Not my favorite. Eclair is way too dry. PB chocolate banana, just a big chuck of peanut butter. Couldn't taste any banana flavor and a drizzle of chocolate is a joke. No balance at all.

Upon opening the door, you will be greeted by the SUPER potent smell of poor plumbing or lord knows what else... but it's an AWFUL stench. We sat outside and every time someone opened the door, we were blasted with the terrible smell, so we did not stay long. We grabbed 4 desserts to go, and 2 of the 4 were frozen... which indicates that these are not fresh desserts. The cream puff/eclair had crunchy icicles in the cream... the banana pudding portion of the banana cream pie dessert was so frozen we couldn't insert the fork through it, but it didn't matter because once we put the fork into the cream, we realized there were hairs all over the top of it. I cannot believe this place is in business. The smell alone will keep me from ever trying this place a second time.

Choulala has soo many sweet options to choose from! They had choux cream puffs, eclairs, macarons, and tarts, just to name a few. We choose to get a couple of their signature Choux Cream Puffs, Macarons, and gelato of course. Their cream puffs were yummy and very airy. The Dark Chocolate Macaron was our fave, being super rich in flavor, and of course VERY chocolately!

Raspberry Macaron, Marshmallow Macaron, Cookies&Cream Choux,Halloween Biscoff Macaron, Salted Caramel Macaron, Blueberry tart

Choulala never disappoints! Best Macarons in town!!! So many creative and yummy treats by Chef Steph!

My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.

Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away by the weekly cookie selection. There was a display showcasing every cookie available, complete with the ingredients listed for each one. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The employee took the time to explain every cookie one by one and even shared his personal favorites, which made choosing a lot easier. We happened to visit during happy hour, which was an added bonus. I received a free small carton of milk to pair with my cookies, and honestly, there couldn't have been a better combination. The cookies themselves were fantastic. They were soft, fresh, and packed with flavor. The cookies with fillings were perfectly gooey in the center, exactly what you want from an indulgent dessert cookie. My favorite by far was "The Right Stuff," which featured a delicious cookies and cream filling that was absolutely incredible. One thing that added to the fun was the creative cookie names.
