I was so disappointed in the whole experience and should have walked out. I paid a deposit of $50. I was told it was a $150 minimum and $200/hour. I requested two fine line tattoos (dandelion and big dipper) for a next day appointment. When I got there, the tattoo artist had a poor google image of a the Big Dipper that was not like the example tattoo I asked for. No art was ready. He drew up something sloppy in a few minutes and I told him immediately I didn't like the artwork and I wanted more detail. He drew it again more nearly, but still didn't have the details I wanted. He ASSURED me that the artwork was a "guideline" and he would add more detail (shading, adding to the big stars, etc.) when he was doing the tattooing. I trusted him (HUGE mistake). I should have walked out. I don't think this man has ever done a fine line tattoo. Every single line is sloppy and squiggly. He did NOT add any extra detail. It is exactly like the artwork I told him I didn't like. When all was said and done, it was exactly an hour from when I walked in, but significantly less for the actual tattooing. He was unprepared for the appointment and it made it go longer than it needed to. When I asked to confirm the price, he told me $250. ‍ I was overcharged by $100 for shitty tattoos that I now have to pay AGAIN to have fixed by someone else. But beware. So, artists charge what they charge, and you can't really bitch. A couple of my kids and I, we had an agreement to get matching tattoos depending on who won the Seahawks raiders game. Raiders won, and I was obliged to allow raider shield to be inked on to my skin. So, kids call this shop, asked if we could come get three, quarter sized single outline raider shields, one with a single letter added next to it, maybe 1/4 inch font, ankle. One with drumsticks an inch long crossed like the swords normally seen on the shield. Back of shoulder. The third was nickel-sized, single line outline of the shield. Behind ear. No details, no shading, the whole thing including setup and shooting the shit, took an hour and a quarter. Happy, we asked how much. We were told shop minimum is $150. We gave him 250. An hour later we get a text. You guys misunderstood me. $150 EACH. You owe me another 200 bucks. We paid. The guy was cool, Hunter. Shop was clean, very cool vibe. Distant associations with a favorite artist of mine and shared admiration of JP Patches made for pleasant conversation. I dunno. What do you think? Get clear information on prices up front. If you are looking for a tattoo shop that is flexible and does quality work,this is your place!!! I needed a random last minute tattoo because I was having a bad day. I called at least 10 places and they all said they were booked up or don't accept walk ins. I finally found this place and he responded right away and asked me for an idea of what I wanted and had me come in an hour or two later. It is located on the upper floor of a small building, there's a weed shop, an herbal healing place, and a massage place all below it. The parking lot is small, which was slightly challenging due to the amount of businesses there. I was able to get a spot. The building is secure and he came down and let me in. His wife and him are the only two employees there. I happened to know the person who rented this space out before them, crazy coincidence. They had awesome artwork and drawings posted everywhere. He drew me up an awesome design based off what I showed him. He made sure I 110% loved it before starting. I loved that he talked with me through the whole thing! I have only gotten one tattoo that hurt, but this one took a few hours and I didn't feel any pain until the very very end once he had of course gone over some of the spots so many times, he kept asking if I was okay because he noticed I was starting to squirm a bit. Over all, amazing experience and I'm bummed this place doesn't have more reviews and that a few that "aren't recommended" are good reviews. Please check this place out!!! So it started off with my friend referring me to the place. I talked to Jon a little over the phone about a tattoo I had designed. I lived in Idaho at the time though, so I was planning it for a few weeks in advance when I would visit Seattle. Although I was unable to give him a cash deposit, he still let me send him the stencil, and we scheduled the appointment. Unfortunately, I later had to cancel. I recontacted with him a few weeks later, once I was in Seattle and told him that I could stop by the shop and put down the deposit, as well as have him look at my arm and take measurements. All went well I gave him the $50 deposit and his wife ended up measuring me and talking to me- since she would be the one tattooing me. It was all set. I would go back the following two days to get the tattoo sleeve that I was wanting. The first cuff would take the first night, and then I would go in the next to finish the other cuff. The following Monday I came in the scheduled time, which was 7:00pm and it was estimated to take about 3-4 hours. She finished around 11:00pm, and everything went well. They charged $150/hr but I had explained to Jon over the phone prior to coming that I only had $1200 to spend total on the tattoo. He told me not to worry, that he would make it work. So, at the end of the first night, I gave his wife all the money I had, which was only $450 at the time. I told her I was $150 short, but that I would pay her what I owed her the next day. She seemed to understand, because she agreed that it was fine, and that I would see her tomorrow. The next day, it was planned for me to arrive the same time as the day before-7:00pm. So that's what I did- but when I got there and called them to let them know that I was ready and just waiting outside for them to open the door, (due to Covid regulations) Jon answered the phone and told me that he wasn't expecting me to show up, since I seemed to of cut his wife off $150 of work from the day before. I explained to him the conversation me and his wife had last night, but he didn't seem to understand that, and just thought that I was trying to rip them off. I reassured Jon that that wasn't my intentions and I had the money for yesterday as well as today ready. He then goes on to tell me that they aren't even at the shop, since they thought I wasn't going to show up, and that I was the only appointment they had that night. He told me to come back at 8:30pm and he would do the tattoo, but the second half of it was estimated to take 5-6 hours, and they closed shop at 11 that night. I knew that it wasn't going to be enough time to get the whole tattoo done that night, which is what I was hoping for, because I was also only going to be in Seattle for another week or so, and I didn't want it partially done, just to then wait until coming back to Seattle to get it finished. We ended up agreeing that that night wasn't going to work, so he would look at his schedule when he got back. I waited well over a day until I texted Jon asking if he had a chance to look at his schedule. He said he wasnt sure if there was time before I left. I offered a few time slots but he shut me down. Then Jon's mood seems to shift in the texts because he texted me: "We refuse to tattoo you until you pay the $150 you cheated my wife out of. I'll take a look at my schedule once you pay us back" Since that was what I was planning on doing in the first place, it wasn't in issue for me. He told me to come in the following day, late morning to drop off the remaining $150. So the next morning I went to the tattoo shop, called for Jon and told him that I was there waiting. Either I was early or they were late, but I ended up waiting about 20 minutes before Jon and his wife pulled up. I got out and greeted Jon. He seemed too preoccupied to really notice me, since he was in the process of moving, but then demanded for the money, and said "Thanks, when I have time, I'll check my calendar." He was very dismissive and just started walking away and towards the door, not giving me the chance to say anything. I thought that the two of us were going to look at his calendar together, but I guess not. I waited the rest of the day, and the following days for a text or a call. I ended up texting and reaching out, but neither Jon nor his wife picked up the phone to my calls or responded to my texts. I know this is a long review, but I wanted to be sure to add all the details leading up to the situation. Overall, the only reason I'm not giving it a one star review, is because the actual art of the tattoo I am pleased with. I do wish that Jon's wife was willing to finish the tattoo she agreed to do in the first place. Very disappointed by the lack of communication. There was no call or text I received from them, confirming to see if I was canceling. Jon mainly, seemed very aggressive as well as distant and short with me when it came to trying to resolve the issue.-very unprofessional in my opinion. read more

Jon was amazing. It was my first tattoo and he made me feel comfortable and welcome. It was also a readonable price for a small thin lined tat. He is flexible with planning - he got me in so last minute! I would highly recommend going to this shop. Its extremely sanitary, a good size, and family owned. 10/10! read more
