The venue is out door amphitheater so lots of space,, super clean,, friendly folks. They did check our cooler and bags for alcohol. We were clean.. be sure and take a chair as there is only grassy areas, no Seay a provided. Also, depending on what time you arrive you may have to walk a few blocks,, although there is plenty of free parking on the street. Excellent venue and we will go back. We had been looking forward to seeing the Tina Turner tribute band but were disappointed. I know it was not the bands fault but weather forced them to cancel the show at 5 pm, day of, and then show back on shortly after. So they were just getting set up when we arrived. Warm up band started at 8 and Tina did not start till 9ish. And then she only sang one song until she would do a costume change. Lots of dancing that didn't fit with the performance but the major complaint was the narrating of Tina's history. The whole thing felt like a high school performance. A shame because Sheryl Rouse has an excellent voice and the band is really good. But all in all the show was disappointing. But the venue is exceptional, it was a beautiful night on the river with the Big 4 Bridge in the background. We will go again.

Majority of leagues take place during the fall/winter seasons. They also do training camps for youths pretty much year round. Snack bar has a few snacks available for purchase, with burgers and nachos being the main type fare. The beer selection is primarily domestic, so if you're looking for craft or imported beers this is not your place. Bleachers and floor are all new for 2018, and they look/feel fantastic! New bleachers are 'closed' type bleachers, so drinks, balls, etc do not fall between the levels making it difficult to recover. There are three main courts up front (primary courts for leagues/KIVA camps) with two in the back (that also include drop down basketball courts, though I've never seen them used and I've been playing there for almost ten years). The group that owns/runs this place are phenomenal. Anyone that has played in the Louisville area knows the Kordes name, and they do a solid job running this facility overall. For indoor volleyball in the area, there is no better place to go.

It was quite some time before we saw any other bowlers. I do wish that you could rent (during some of the weeknights) by game instead of by the hour. It's really tough to get in a full game and paying for two hours of bowling isn't always in the budget. Otherwise, no issue with the bowling lanes or shoe rental. Food was hit or miss this time. The buffalo chicken dip was a hit amongst several of us; however, my husband only ate a few bites of his fish and said that it was much too fishy. The burger also received mixed reviews. We didn't realize it came as two patties. While it was a very hefty portion, half of the group felt like it was boring. Service was quick and friendly. The parking lot does get quite full, especially if there is trivia downstairs. You may need to locate a spot along the street rather than their parking lot.
