Yes, it was cold, but there are some awesome heaters that kept you warm if you were basically behind the red line. Some asked me if I was cold when I went up to golf. I said "I'm from Michigan. I'm OK in short sleeves until it hits about 40°." This was a catered event, in that the food and beverage were provided by Top Golf. The food was surprisingly good for finger foods. The spinach/artichoke dip was astounding, and the mac & cheese was pretty stellar. Our server (whose name I didn't get) was ever-present and did a great job keeping the area clean and keeping up with our group as far as drinks went. The Golfing portion was actually pretty fun. There were a number of different types of games you could play and the scoring/tracking system was very highly sophisticated. Top Golf is an impressively large, expansive facility. We only got to see a portion of it, but I counted at least 3 bars and a gift shop. While I'm not much of a golfer, this trip to Top Golf was a lot of fun. You sign up for each course on your phone, they send you a text. The place was crowded, but we didn't have too much trouble moving through the courses. The lights and sound effects throughout the course are fun, our group became very competitive. You can dine or grab drinks at the bar like we did (happy hour during the week). I will say the courses are pretty similar, so it becomes repetitive. For that reason, this is probably a once a year place for me.
