Upon submitting the online order, I received a text confirming the order. I was able to confirm the price. They were going to charge me an extra $12 for the outline of Crayon Shin-Chan's face that I requested. They said it wasn't a simple drawing, which I didn't realize, so I swiftly changed it to just mini cone designs. The mini cone design was a good call because they added different flavored ice creams that I didn't choose for the cake to the cones. One of the ice cream cone flavors was orange or something, which I don't think I saw as an option on the ordering form, making it even better and allowing us to try even more flavors! It was $65.33 (incl tax) for 3 flavors for the second biggest size cake (I think it was for 10-12 ppl). The three flavors I got for the cake were: Cookies and cream - 3.5/5 My least favorite flavor here even though I generally really enjoy cookies and cream. Not enough cookies and the texture of the cookies is not soft enough. Don't think it will taste like your favorite pint of cookies and cream. If I were to try to describe it, I'd say it'd taste like a healthy cookies and cream? Taro - 4.5/5 My favorite flavor because the taro came through but in a nice, subtle way. This was also the least sweet of the three flavors. Black sesame - 4/5 Undeniably black sesame. The taste was very strong and the black sesame seeds gave it some texture. A tad bit too sweet but overall ok. I've gotten ice cream cakes from here in the past, and I thought I wrote them a review already, but I guess not.

This time, we took the F train to Carroll St, walked by a quiet residential area and some busier streets. We ordered and paid by the entrance, given a number and looked for seats. Tables for 4, and along the long counter in the front area; small counter for 3, and 2 round tables in the back, where the restroom also is. Got a reg scoop of Coffee bean- small scoop, with specks of coffee; and a Warm brownie sundae - small for the price of almost $17- 1 regular scoop of ice cream, flanked by brownie (was good, soft and warm), covered with fudge. Asked for whipped cream and cherry on the side. Missing the shaved chocolate. Atmosphere is not lively for a soda fountain but I loved the decor/old pharmacy items. Employees were just working, with straight-faces/no smiles.

We ordered the egg cream (as it was award winning according to their wall), the black and white milk shake and coffee. The black and white milk shake was definitely the best of what we ordered. It was fresh and had a homemade taste. The chocolate had a richness to it. I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu like the sundae. The place itself has a rather old timey vibe to it, which makes it quaint. The service was fast and friendly. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking out Brooklyn Farmacy.

Nieves Tia Mimi has some really delicious flavors. I tried the horchata and melon - both were fresh and delicious. The horchata flavor wasn't as rich as the ones I've had in Mexico. The staff spoke Spanish so I attempted to use my limited spanglish and I confused the female staff so badly. She also was not the most friendliest. Eventually one of the male staff helped me translate - thank you so much! When it was time to pay, total was $15 & I gave the other male staff $20, but received back $1 (I should be getting back $5). Please make sure you get back the right amount because I do not know if the person did it intentionally or not. Nonetheless, the chamoyada & Pina colada were delicious! We were shocked how good they were! You can taste the quality of the Pina colada & it had the right amount of sweetness. It was so refreshing! I would reorder that next time! The chamoyada was very interesting (in a good way). It was spicy sour, a bit sweet, refreshing, a bit salty. It was a surprise party in my mouth! I liked the sour things (it tasted like tamarind) they put on it & that "stick" (straw). I would reorder this again next time! Excellent mexican ices! There were many other flavors to try (like horchata, tamarind, etc). Also tons of indoor seating.
