She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour! Thank you Paige & Walk Eat Nashville!

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill after that. We ended up waiting over two hours for our food, and during that time a large soccer team that ordered several minutes after us was served before we were. That was really frustrating, especially after already waiting so long. When my food finally arrived, my order was incorrect. I specifically asked for no gardinare on my beef sandwich, but it was made with spicy gardinare anyway. My mouth was on fire the entire time, so I honestly couldn't even comment on how the food tasted. I didn't want to send it back and risk waiting another two hours for a replacement -- or ending up with an another cold spicy sandwich. I understand that busy happen, but better order management and attention to dietary requests would have made a big difference. Really disappointing experience overall

You can truly taste that the pasta is homemade, and the truffle sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overpowering. We also shared a Caesar salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to our meal. The desserts were another highlight. Everything was homemade and authentic, cannoli and tiramisu are to die for and it was honestly one of the best Italian desserts I've had in a long time. What made the experience even more special was meeting the wonderful couple behind the restaurant. They were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind that they made us feel like guests in their own home rather than customers. That kind of hospitality is becoming harder to find, and it made the meal even more memorable. This place may not have the flashiest exterior, but it's exactly the kind of hidden neighborhood restaurant everyone hopes to discover. Amazing food, wonderful people, and such a cozy atmosphere. We'll absolutely be coming backhonestly, I can see this becoming a weekly tradition for us. Highly recommend supporting this fantastic local business!

Friendly gentleman taking orders and serving us, spoke with an Italian accent. Prices were great. Cons: Do not get the Caprese salad or Caesar salad. Caprese was just mini mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar and served in a plastic cup. I would have expected green basil and roma tomatoes instead of cherry and served on a real plate. Caesar salad was a huge miss. Zero caesar dressing in sight (caesar should be egg yolk based and have anchovies) and instead was given a not very tasty store bought creamy italian dressing, and the entire salad was served in a plastic tupperware.

Hubs actually was exploring our route and discovered this place so we bookmarked it in case we had time. Both times we visited, we were kind of strapped for time so we have yet to go on the tour. They do allow for tastings of their many boozes but they limit it to 6 or 8, which is very smart. I think we did not have that many our recent trip. Since we purchased 6 bottles our first trip (they give a discount for 6+ bottles), we were already familiar and wanted to try some of their new items. Both times we visited, we brought in our dog and she received a lot of attention. They have dog toys so of course I had to buy her one each time. Now those are really expensive! The prices vary for their bottles, maybe averaging about $55. Some are cheaper and many are more expensive than that. They also sell merchandise in the same room you do the tastings. We never have time but they do free tours and I wanna say they last about 45 minutes. It is in the middle of nowhere so it's not like you can make a day out of it any stay in town, while filling up an entire itinerary for a day. We really enjoy their bourbon and keep stock of the Blueberry and Mint Julep flavored bourbons. Everyone is always hospitable when we visit and that motivated us more to support them!

We were very pleased with this! Our guide was Sami and she was awesome! Everything was smooth. She was very knowledgeable. Our stops were the Acme Feed & Seed and had ribs with Mac and cheese, collard greens and coleslaw, next we went to Merchants, which was definitely my kind of place. They gave us wings, popcorn and these delicious deviled eggs and a locally made beer. Next we went to Cerveza Jacks. They had live music and served us an amazing strawberry lemonade cocktail. It was my favorite. We also got a Nashville hot chicken taco. Then we went next door to Mike's ice cream and had the vanilla with fudge chunk ice cream. So good. Then we went across the way to Praline's by Leon. We were given a salted caramel and a whiskey infused praline. Both were good. BUT, the pralines at Savannah candy kitchen are better (sorry). Last we went to Standard Proof Whiskey company to finish the tour with cocktails. My husband had the coffee whiskey old fashioned and I had the wildflower rye cocktail. Only one improv to recommend. To make individual portions for the number of people attending instead of group shared plates. Personally I don't want people I don't know touching my food. It's also harder to divide everything fairly.

I ordered the lasagna (definitely on the cheesy side, but still tasty!), and while I can't remember what my husband ordered, we both enjoyed our meals overall. My sister got some sort of old fashioned and enjoyed it as well! We started with the fried ravioli (good, but nothing incredible) and bread service (meh). I was nervous at this point but I shouldn't have been! Our salads came next and they were incredibly fresh and flavorful, as well as a large portion! I got their cavatappi in cream sauce and my sister went with the pork. Both dishes were fresh, hot, well-balanced and large! I LOVE that they use chicken thigh for their protein add-on - super flavorful and moist. We were stuffed, so no dessert this time, but I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
