Wow and wow! What a great experience from start to finish. The installation of the LVP flooring was impeccable. Buying new flooring for our new-to-us house in Florence was a daunting task. Natalie, Julie and Jenny helped to make the decision easier with their expert advice. Even though it took us a long time to come to a final decision, we never felt pressured or rushed. These are very patient people! Jesse Hart Flooring was our installer, and we were beyond happy with the expertise of this professional team. Jesse, Avery and Joel were so friendly, considerate and skilled laying out the floor. No gaps, cuts were precise and close around everything. They did the entire house with only one transition to different type of flooring. There are no transitions between rooms or closets or into bathrooms, under doorways or around bookcases. It is one smooth, continuous, beautiful Odyssey floor! There are no obvious patterns or planks laid in the same places across the floors. These guys are pros! We had luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in every room upstairs and in the stairwell. Goodman's was amazing to work with. No issues. Everything was as promised. Jesse Hart Flooring did the installation and we were blown away. Jesse has a very high standard of excellence. The team was immaculate, punctual, and extremely hard-working. Use caution and do not accept work from Dave. Problems started immediately: A chunk of plaster missing and marks on the freshly painted wall. After saying something, we paid the price. Dave sanded without doing any thing to try and contain the sawdust. It was caked in the walls and the screen the screen door which could have been left open. Our kitchen had layers of sawdust on everything including the new window blinds which could have raised. Instead of being excited to see our new floors and trim, I cried. With sawdust everywhere, nail marks in the trim that were visible from across the room, to having big gaps where the trim pieces met , we knew it was a disaster. We finally contacted Goodman's after a few days of calming down. Goodman's never reached out to us to see if we were satisfied. Not once. They scheduled a time to come to the house and asked Jesse to come. If you go with this company, wait for Jesse. He is a skilled, competent contractor. Jesse fixed a few problems immediately and planned to replace 5 boards of trim, and fix a few other things when he returned. Turns out he ended up replacing all the trim. About a half hour before we paid our bill of $7,500 for LVP, carpet, and trim we discovered "hammer blossoms" in our brand new floor. Again, we were shocked but still paid the bill (our mistake). I mentioned it to them but once again they did not reach out to investigate further. I am not at all confident about the flooring that Dave installed. I see things and shake my head. If you go with this company, use caution, don't expect any sort of customer service, and do not let Dave in your house. read more

I was excited to find Goodman's Floor Covering and really enjoyed meeting Julie in addition to the great customer service. It's nice to have someone go the extra mile in helping. There is such a wonderful selection of carpets of every kind. I was especially pleased with the great selection of the stock carpets that are carried. Jesse and Austin our installers were the best. Very nice gentleman and Jesse has great taste. His suggestion for the strip that ties the carpet and tile together was so much better than what I had chosen. Recently had some tile work done in our kitchen. We had most of the tile and had Goodman's order the rest of what we needed which was two boxes and some trim. The tile was installed perfectly by an installer that Goodman's contracted with. When the job was finished we asked the installer if we were to pay Goodman's or him. He said that Goodman's said to pay him. we paid what we thought was the total for labor and material to him but received a call from Goodman's a few days later stating that we still owed for the materials. We are not dissatisfied with the job but recommend to anyone contracting work with Goodman's to get everything in writing as to what you will pay and to whom you will pay. read more

We had Goodman's lay new vinyl in our master bath and are very happy with how they did the job. New vinyl was installed in our kitchen, laundry room, pantry and guest bath and are more than happy and satisfied with the installation. Having laminate installed in our great room, entry and hallway and the install is going very well. The two gentleman who are doing the install are good at what they do and are friendly and very wiling to work with us on how to lay the pieces. We just bought US Floors Cortec Plus XL from Goodmans, who also installed it. They worked with us on the selection and gave a competitive price. We just had Engage Select Plank vinyl flooring installed by Goodman's. They were wonderful helping us decide and gave us a good price. The installers were extremely friendly and professional. They did the job in record time, keeping everything clean as they went and moving all our furniture. Jessie and his partner (sorry I forgot the name) even put the new felt pads I purchased on everything for us, and hid our surround sound wiring behind the molding. We are very happy with the results!
