I hired Good Monsters to get rid of carpenter ants that came in the house. I asked that they get rid of them and tell me if there were nests under or around the outside of the house. Zach did not find anything though he treated the perimeter of the house. He returned two weeks later to check for ants again and didn't find anything. He said if I signed up for monthly service, I would get $100 back on the $314 service cost. I told him I declined monthly service and he said then that my balance was paid. Two weeks later, I received an invoice for $64. I called the office to ask what the charge was for? Melissa said she thought the account was 'open'. She said she would cancel the invoice and I didn't owe anything more. I wouldn't hire them again. read more

A little over a year ago I convinced myself to do something about an ant issue lasting 10 plus years. I over explained that I would like to get this done as quick as possible and they gave me their "expert" advice that this would need to be over the next year blah blah blah. So I said sure, it will probably all equate to what I would want to pay for someone getting rid of them either way. So I am going to fast forward 6 months, just small sprays in the house and around the outside and they just come once a month. So around 6 months it's just not happening, ants still coming out of every area, so I wrote them and said what is going on here, like nothing is causing anything, you spray and three weeks later it's the same stuff, why isn't anybody going under the house. So the guy finally came out and sprayed one section from my understanding under the house, but t got a bit better, but they kept coming and I message the company like why wasn't this for from the beginning, it's more effective and I explained how bad it was from the beginning. Why are we just doing this not, so I stayed on them, they came out twice a month but it was irregular, it wasn't all the time. I did ask for a two month credit, denied they told me a sad story when they could have been doing this since day one. Then towards the end because I didn't feel that if you paid for a service that if you're going to be not serviced properly from the beginning and there supposedly was three ant colonies I asked for them to be taken care of, and because I said this is crazy that you let it go on for 6 months doing the minimum and now that ants are coming back out you want to raise the price when you already got money out of me, took 6 months to get under the house and as of right now I have ants. read more

We had evidence of rodents in our crawl space.This company did not do a thorough initial evaluation of the crawl space.They missed several large gaps in which the rodents were able to access into the crawl space. They should have recommended for us to have the crawl space sealed by a crawl space specialist before starting any pest control program. Actually their feeding stations attracted more rodents which now fill up a large portion of the crawl space. We would not recommend this company. read more

When we signed up they were The Pest Control, and later changed to Good Monster. All the communication texts and phone calls stopped. They missed 2 appointments and didn't reschedule. We called and left message after message. Their products changed and became ineffective. We prepaid for 1 years service. We canceled when we sold our home and instead of the refund they offered, we told them to finish the service for the new owners. 1 year and 1 month later, we get a bill for canceling early. WTF. I absolutely would not recommend good mobsters. Admin seems to be a huge problem at this company. The guy that came out was very pleasant. I feel sorry for him that he had to explain why everything was so screwed up. We called to correct this and at first we're blamed for not reading the contract, then Melissa said she would just forgive it to be nice, then admitted, oh yeah, here's the notes of you canceling, so they screwed up but still said they would forgive the amount past due. WTF just admit the office is the weak link. We hate being fleeced. read more

We worked with the pest control company and Christian to remediate a rodent issue we had at our property in Bellingham. When I say the service was extraordinary, I mean it. Christian and his team moved quickly to get to our house and give us a quote, which was a very reasonable price for the work that we needed. The Pest Control Company did a great job communicating with us throughout the process and were quick to answer any questions that we had about the work, cost, product used, etc. They also use a very clear, professional software to notify us of upcoming service reminders and balances which has been really helpful for tracking purposes. They did a lot of work inside of our house (and outside) and every time they left, it looked like no one was ever there. We are happy to say that our rodent issue was remediated within a couple of weeks and we were happy to sign up for a monthly service to assure issues do not arise again. We've been using Pest Control for 3 years now and all our insect problems have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. We had the most difficult time getting rid of tiny black bugs so we called Pest Control, they named them right away - springtails - and told us they live in sod and come into our house through window screens, they treated them and the bugs were gone within a day! Since then we've had them come in every 3 months for a routine inspection, afterward they leave an inspection note of what they did and any pest issues that they dealt with. We live out in the county nearby a few farms. We had a very "sudden invasion" of mice into our home through the crawl space and into the garage (at least 1 rat joining the mouse party in the garage) There was a little evidence in just one location in the past few weeks, but not a lot. I didn't see the severity of it until this morning. After settling in for my morning coffee, I noticed turds everywhere! First in my Den, and inside desk drawers, the Pantry shelves, and inside cabinets in the kitchen, and then the garage. It was as if the came inside overnight. I called the Pest Control Company based on good Yelp reviews. Then I found out one of my best friend uses their services out in the county as well. He highly recommended them. I called and the owner Christian answered my call. I explained how bad it was and he sent a Technician out right away. Jamie was the serviceman and he got right on it. He plugged all of the access entry points and set multiple traps in the crawl space, garage and bait stations outside. He did a great job, very professional and friendly. I gave this review 4 stars because I will wait for a week when Jamie returns and we will see how many of the Invaders he caught....then a 5th star can be added! read more

What a great experience. When I called up The Pest Control Company I was pretty sure no one would help me with my mice issue in my SUV. But I asked anyway and to my surprise I was met with an excited and eager Christian (I believe he is the owner) to solve my mice issue. I explained that I was pretty sure I had one mouse left living behind my glove compartment after the mechanic was able to get 4 babies out of there the week before! Christian explained why they most likely sought refuge in my car in the first place and assured me that my super clean car didn't have something attracting them - it was most likely just a warm place they made a home. After careful planning and a few very stealthily placed traps we were able to get the last mouse out of there and I was given some suggestions to keep them out. All in all I would say I was very satisfied with my experience at the PCC. read more
