We had rodents under the house and contacted these folks to get rid of them and paid them up front for four visits. They showed up and set traps and told me they would be back to check them in a week. 10 days later they still hadn't showed and hadn't called to let me know they weren't going to show so I had to call and find out what was going on. They arranged to get someone out later in the week. I asked the tech when he'd be back and was told I had to call the office to schedule the next visit. Apparently, Classic Pest Control & Insulation is unable to schedule visits in advance. If you want a pest control company that will keep you informed of what's going on and will contact and communicate with you, I suggest calling someone else. I found a dead rat in my crawl space, and looking further back saw a lot of droppings. I called Classic based on a recommendation from my parents who had used them in the past. They came out and gave an estimate broken down by line item so I could skip what I didn't need, such as floor insulation. They fixed damaged vents, took out the soiled plastic ground liner and duct insulation, made three trips to check traps then put in new plastic (well tacked down) and duct insulation. Referred by Cari at Contractor Hotline, Classic Pest Control and Insulation did a fantastic job of eliminating a carpenter ant problem and a rodent issue inside the attic and crawl space and around the yard. I have them on a regular maintenance routine and am very pleased with the service and the results. They call a couple of days ahead of service give and the approximate time they will be there. I have a lot of respect for this company. They sanitized and replaced our insulation a few years ago and did a great job. Most recently, they added a roof vent that ended up leaking. Once we noticed the issue they immediately came out and fixed it. They even went the extra mile of replacing all of our insulation. It was probably overkill, but they did it anyways and charged us nothing for it. This company actually cares about their clients and that's something that's rare these days. I will only use them now. the office personal is not professional, does not listen, also does not understand simple bookkeeping. you send a bill when the customer asks so the customer knows when to pay. the only good thing i have to say about this company, is the men when they came to look at the home, were professional and answered all my questions. read more

i'm in the midst of a hellish remodel (supposed to be done in 2 month, we're well into the 7th!) but at least these guys knew what they were doing. people, nice people, professional & polite people, showed up when they said they would. there were quotes that were professional & specific & actually honest (getting old insulation removed). there was a revision to a quote, but it was given with fair warning & was totally warranted & absolutely reasonable (getting new insulation put in). i don't want to get any of this done again because i don't ever want to remodel again but if i ever *have* to, i'm definitely using these guys again. We got 3 quotes for a complete removal and reinstall of insulation and pest control in the house we just bought, and these guys had the most competitive bid, and were the most detailed and accurate in their bidding. They are also certified to submit rebate requests to the utility companies, and they deduct your bill by whatever the rebate is. They also found MORE in rebates than the other companies did. So far, they have only done the insulation removal, set traps and installed exclusions, and I'll update my review if my opinion changes after the insulation install. But as the other review noted, they came on time, were polite, professional and efficient. Also, the home office/scheduling people are really sweet and on top of it. I'm surprised there aren't more yelp reviews for Classic, because I think they are really good! read more

Thank you Tim for helping me with my Bellingham rental. The tenant was complaining about noises in the attic which turned into nasty droppings from the stove vent... turns out some birds decided to nest in my stove vent. Tim was able to find the birds (alive and well) and release them. He also gave me ideas on how to seal my attic so that more birds would not gain access. Fast service, thanks! We got about 4 quotes to replace our crawl space insulation and insulate all our heat ducts. The gentleman who came out to provide a quote was really informative, friendly and took notice of a few other non insulation issues that were worthy of mention. After reviewing all the quotes, we decided to go with Classic. We are really glad we did. They did a FANTASTIC job. Very meticulous work, came on time. The insulation installed was held in place by twine, installed every 6 inches or so, throughout the whole floor. They worked with PSE to get us a bunch of rebates to reduce our cost. They are a smaller company, and when questioned about their employees, they affirmed that all their workers are legal, paid a good wage and most of their employees have stayed with the company for a long time. We had used Classic Insulation a few years ago and they did a great job in our crawl space. We had a rodent problem and they sealled the space, cleaned it and reinsulated and we have not had a problem since. We had them come out again just a couple months ago to check our attic space insulation. It had settled so much we decided to have it redone. It is November 3 and we have not had to turn our heat on. Our home has been very comfortable. Even the room that was the coldest room in the house is fine now. We are already saving money!! They did a great job again. The staff is very nice, communicates well and the quote was fair and matched the final cost. The guys that came out to do the job were very nice, polite and worked hard. We had our walls insulated this week. The insulators came yesterday and did a fantastic job. They were quick, efficient, careful and considerate. I had asked that they pay close attention to my plants and avoid treading on them, which they minded. They were very friendly and offered to help us move things out of the way/put things back in order after they finished. I can feel a difference in the draftiness (or lack there of now!) already. We couldn't be more impressed with Classic Pest Control & Insulation!! We had them out after hearing scratching sounds in our attic at night (YUK!). Their 3-visit program to get the situation under control was more affordable than the other companies we called and we didn't have to sign up for an expensive monthly year-long contract that the others required. The office staff was very friendly and flexible in working with our schedule. Both technicians that came to our home were very professional, reliable, punctual, courteous, friendly and honest. Clint gave an extremely thorough inspection (more than the other companies we had out), gave us cost options for sealing off entry points ourselves to save money, graciously took over when my husband decided that sealing off the roof entry points was more than he wanted to take on, and provided pictures after the work was done. I chose Classic because they were recommended to me by my contractor. He was right, they did a great job from beginning (April) to the end of my remodeling project (November). In April the estimator, Todd, promptly came and gave me an estimate for removal and replacement of insulation. I scheduled and his team arrived to remove all the insulation from the attic. They did an excellent job. As my remodel progressed the installer returned to place new insulation in the walls and under the house. Again, they were on time and did an excellent job. The last visit from Classic was this month when I got the attic insulated and now the house is toasty warm. During this six month process I dealt with the administration team, the estimator and the installers. Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Classic Insulation.
