I have been a patient of Goodskin Dermatology nearly 10 years both regular dermatology and cosmetic. Went through two dermatologists and finally found one I liked. The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is Alicia, she is very professional and amazing at what she does. Why I'm finally leaving a review is the communication issue. Happens with both sides of the business but seems to be worse for the cosmetics. I call and nobody answers and I have to leave a voicemail. I get it, sometimes they are busy and not able to get to the phone. The problem is it happens 90% of the time and when I leave a message it is not returned. Last week I left a message Monday afternoon I got a call back Tuesday morning and unfortunately missed it I called right back to get the voicemail again left another message there was no call back. Called Wednesday left a message no call back called Thursday left a message and still have not received a call. I have also tried their texting system which sometimes they get back to me after two days. Now I know you can make an appointment online and normally I would the problem I have is that for the cosmetic section there are no prices on the services such as lasers, facials, peels etc.. I'm not gonna make an appointment when I have no idea how much something cost. I have spent so much money here, it's not like they've cornered the market I can get these same things done at my plastic surgeons office or at another spa I go to regularly. I chose to stay at good skin because of Alicia but I will no longer spend money with a company who can't be bothered to answer the phone or return a phone call. This is probably the fourth time this has happened and I'm over it. read more

Terrible, terrible customer service. They don't want to help you if you don't have insurance and are paying cash. Won't return messages and send you to a voicemail when they act like they're trying to help. If you need a growth evaluated, do not try this place... apparently saving lives is not important to them...unless you have insurance of course. read more

I have an annual whole-body scan each year after having a squamous cell cancer lesion removed from my face several years ago. I'm older, so my skin is now exhibiting kerotoses which my provider, Kate, uses cryotherapy, and this has been effective. GoodSkin Dermatology providers are empathic, listen to their patients, and very caring, in addition to being highly skilled and knowledgeable. I was referred by my doctor in late March for a suspicious mole on my shoulder. I went to the Troutdale office and met with Heather Hallowell. she was great! I have a family history of Melanoma. She identified it immediately and promptly removed it for biopsy. From there, I was referred to an oncology surgeon and it was removed along with the lymph nodes under my arm on that side. My follow up skin check took place in August. Again, Heather met with me. That's not fun, but again, she was great. Goodskin has worked well for me, from the support staff to the clinicians.
