Consignment thieves!! Don't buy from or do business with these people, they go back on their…read morewritten and word agreement about consignment shares and are not transparent in that even though they say they will call you to get your approval for a potential sale amount from a prospective buyer before making the sale on your item, (in order to be considerate if you accept a higher or lower amount) they do not call and get your approval. They then falsely claim they sold it for much lower when they actually sold it for much higher, and then they also change your commission share falsely claiming you agreed on a different lower amount, when its convenient for them to do that to make more off the sale. They lie and claim they don't keep receipts after I asked for proof of the sale. Weeks later after ignoring my initial request for a receipt they send a seemingly random super sketchy receipt that doesn't even show the name of the products sold (ie my item) and then the receipt has a hand written note claiming the higher sale amount included another product that the buyer bought at the same time. Super unprofessional, very dishonest, poor communication, and non-transparent, lacking in integrity business practices. STAY AWAY for this oddball store! Oddball is right.... I may update my review only if they stop lying and quickly send me my consignment check for the correct amount I have asked for that I am owed for my item.

Vintage clothing feels better made than the mass produced pieces in major retailers today, so I always feel better buying a well made vintage item knowing it has years of wear left and of course. You can definitely tell the owner is meticulous about the condition of the clothing which I really appreciate. The owner is great at sharing new pieces in the shop on instagram (@wilderbagco) when items are rotated. And she is on it, yall! I feel like she's posting new stuff everyday. You can even reserve or purchase a piece that catches your eye if you can't make it to the shop immediately. It's also nice to support a small local business who supports other small businesses and area entrepreneurs. Walking into the Leech Pit is like getting vertigo at a strobe filled dance club (oontz oontz oontz) - there's just so much goodness you just need to pause to catch your breath and take it all in. But you can't pause because your heart is pounding and you're giddy with excitement. The rare concert t-shirts, the racks and racks of clothes that serve as documentary of every phase you ever went through, the action toys you spent every afternoon with (and realize you now could be rich if you had kept them instead of letting mom donate them to the stupid kid down the road because you're too old for them now SMH), the records - oh sweet Jesus the records! - and even record players for your new collection! It's a one stop shop for your wildest dreams!! As if the shop wasn't Valhalla on earth on its own, I met the owner too (I think his name was Adam, but he looks like an Izzy). He was damn cool - I think he's probably my long-lost best friend from 6th grade that I used to get in trouble with. When he shows you around you realize he knows every item intimately, because he curated everything in the store. I bought 2 pieces and my dad found a few pictures. Not only did they have some cool stuff but I had a few lessons from one of the owners about some facts about antique & clothing I didn't know!
