What I mean by this is if you know your name brands, then you know when you're getting a great deal on thrifted items. I appreciated several things about the organization of this store, my thoughts are listed below: 1) it's clear that the staff curate the donated items 2) The staff appreciated that items are donated and therefore, do not upsell or make pricing comparable to retail prices 3) Items are well cared for and well organized throughout the shop - things were easy to find -- and therefore, appreciated. This store also sold some new and packaged / bundled overstock items (i.e. socks, underwear, etc) that I allllmost got. But I hesitated -- I already have two bags of mismatched socks -- they don't need more competition! I did, however come away with some really cool finds -- and I'm glad that the staff were patient with me returning to the cash register, not once, but THREE times!! I kept catching things out of the corner of my eye, each time I tried to leave. LOL! What I got: A pair of sorel sandals for 9.99 (retail price: $140) in excellent condition. A "Sally" from Nightmare before Christmas themed hoodie from Box Lunch for 6.99 (i think) -- actual retail price: $60.00 (or so) A pack of two yo-yo's for my kids (1.99) Thick shoelaces (for Vans) for 1.00 There were some amazing hand-cobbled shoe boots that I wish my foot was a bit bigger so they'd fit -- but no dice! I purchased a Lululemon sweatshirt and I find it very comfortable. - The staff is friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and the dressing rooms are well laid out. Large mirrors, bench/seating & Lots of places to hang items during try on. The parking lot is small but rarely crowded. You can typically find parking right in front of the store. It's free :)

She started following me around as I shopped, she followed my 8 year old daughter and came to make sure I was going to purchase a precious moment plate my daughter picked out and placed in our shopping basket. At that point I asked my daughters to not touch anything and stay by me cause she is assuming we are stealing things so asked them to keep their hands to themselves. I was literally in front of the register, after picking out a dress leaving the hanger behind she rudely said (mind you, while she is attending to a customer at the register, still watching us.) "I'm going to need the hanger with that!" She stated to the customer she does that so she knows people aren't stealing. I said well you should just search peoples backpacks instead of following them around the store making it a weird and uncomfortable shopping experience. Or have signs up asking to keep the hangers with the clothes. She said no we don't do that. Oh but you follow people and assume they are thieves !!? Either she is prejudiced or menopausal or both! Cause when I asked her where can I return the precious moment plate she rudely said as she pointed to my daughter " well she knows she took it from there!" Excuse me lady but you followed me around with the metal stand asking if I was going to purchase what my daughter picked out! Well either way , I left everything there , not ever spending a penny at this awful place again. I told her she is rude and demeaning! She also accused my daughter! I told her I did not like her insinuating we were stealing and this place definitely uses Faith based as a cover. This owner or worker is self righteous, rude, biased and disrespectful! Please stay away from this place, if she can treat children the way she did today, this place should make zero money! Ridiculous prices, go to Ross , TJ max or other thrift stores, please do not donate here. Horrible service and horrible experience.

If you go around the holiday time, just know that the store is quite busy. It doesn't take away from the experience at all and the employees are super friendly and helpful and the line to purchase your goods moves quickly. The LV fringe bag can be found for about $1000 other places. If you want to pay above market prices go ahead. They do layaway if that helps. Was in the Paso area this weekend for a wedding and came underprepared for the cool evening…read moreweather! I found this shop when I was searching for a breakfast spot (we ended up down the street at the Kitchenette), hoping to buy a jacket in the nick of time. Amazingly, I walked in and immediately my eyes were drawn to the rack of creams, tans and browns - colors that would all match my dark cerulean floral dress. I pulled out the first item that appealed to me and low and behold, it fit perfectly! It was a little pricey at $100, but truly a steal for the Nordstrom brand and suede fabric - definitely a timeless piece. The woman who helped me was very kind, and even entered me into a raffle for a gift card (despite me not living in the area). Right now they have a lot of summer sale items, and 30% off their back racks. The store isn't large, but they have a robust selection of dresses, sweaters and jackets, boots, bags and more. I love to shop second-hand and would be a regular if I lived in the area. I have to mention - I got SO many compliments on my new jacket! Guess it was a good thing that I forgot to bring one from home ;)
