I would not do business with this company again.I brought in a harbor built truck utility bed that was $15,000 from factory. They sold it on auction for only 600$. It should have gone for respectfully around $4000 at least. This place has no minimums for their bids. I'll never go back to buy or sell. I also received no call about it's sale and received a 450$ check in the mail signifying it's sale.. Have purchased things from many 777 auctions, usually at estate sales or wineries. This one was on location in atascadero. The gentleman helping me was a super hard worker and always yes boss. Lol. That was not too bad. We team lifted a few things and a few things he grabbed himself. Lady at the counter was super friendly too. Joking with me and telling me to have a great holiday which I said back in return. There is a guy that checks your purchases to your receipt as you leave. Kind of like costco when you have to show them your receipt. He has helped us out a few times and is super friendly as well. All around 777 is a great company with great hard working employees. I had winning bid on utility trailer 13 days ago. I paid for it the very next day. When picking it up trailer had no license plate, no registration, no bill of sale. The customer service here is terrible. I had some issues with someone hacking into my account and bidding on items. I was not aware of this until I received an email from 777 with an invoice for the amount of $375.18. I immediately reached out leaving voicemails and emails and no response back. After multiple attempts to reach someone I did briefly speak with a person who stated that they would look into the situation and call me back. I have yet to hear back from her or anyone else. I put my golf cart on consignment with them in December 2020. . They were suppose to get 10% of the sale of the golf cart. so far, after calling and texting them, they called back one time and said the cart is not sold yet that was in May of this year 2021. Almost 6 months and no sale, a neighbor bought a golf cart from them and it looked like mine. According g to the website serial number which is mine is the same as the neighbors cart. They go out and buy a bunch of school desks and chairs and give them away for FREE so our kids can have a special school place in our home to learn WOW! This is so generous and caring!! I purchased from there auctions over 19 items over the past 3 auctions. And for the most part I received exactly what I thought I was getting, except 2 items. I purchased deep freeze ice cream freezer 1st. It didn't work, these things happen, right. Wrong according to them this never happen. I had to argue my way to credit. which was incredibly hard because they were so very very rude. Fast forward to next auction I go to there viewing. I ask a young women about getting information about a 93" prep table and if she could turn over 2 cars i thinking about. I was told there were videos and that the prep table was tested by herself. I got the prep table and it doesn't work. To say that they we're combative and rude would be a mass understatement. They absolutely we're unwilling to listen to any reason. I stayed completely calm thru the whole ordeal trying to come to some kind of fix. Rude Rude Rude was all I got. I was also told that I was banned because my expectations of working merchandise was outrageous . Even thou I discovered it turned out that on off switch was broken and rammed back in that made no difference and I got a "Sooooo not my problem go find some else to fix it". They have the worst customer I seen in many years. It family run business of jerks and it completely shows. Avoid unless you like being ripped off by a family of rude thieves. If you do buy anything from them make sure they plug it in before you leave under all circumstances so you can show them when they are selling you junk. If you don't they will do nothing for you and will still probably not do anything. It going to cost me an additional $300 bucks to get this fixed maybe/hopefully.I wish I never used the credit they gave me. Furthermore if your a seller, go find somewhere else to put your stuff up. Facebook marketplace, Craig's, etc... you'll do better. everything goes at least 3 times less than it's worth in there auctions unless it's a bigger ticket item. These are consigned merchandise and I get that but if you have problem you will wish you never spoke to any of these people in the 1st place. read more

A friend of mine and myself went to 777 today and right away we were greeted with kindness and care. My friend bid on two vehicles, not realizing he won both. So, not having enough cash on hand for the two, we worked a deal with Justin at 777, and shortly we were walking out of there with the pink slip in hand and a receipt showing a down payment on the second. Both cars were in fantastic condition, all electrical was perfect, ran great. I highly recommend 777 auction house for whatever product or item you're looking for. Wlll NEVER do business with them again. We took a bunch of stuff over to sell and some stuff they said they couldn't take even though we had seen them sell similar items at previous auctions. Then they called several days later asking us to pick up more items they didn't want to sell. All of that wasn't so bad. The worst part is they put several specialty items (for truck, motorcycle and hobby) valued at several hundred dollars all on one pallet and labeled it "Miscellaneous Junk". Who is going to want to buy that?!? It's like they don't really want to do anything but sell cars. Don't even bother selling anything else with them. You will spend more in gas taking it to them then you will get once they take out commission. Also they lost some of our items to sell, who knows if we will ever get it back. read more

I am regular auction attendee of auction in various locations. I have wanted to attend the 777 for a while now and finally got the chance. After things got under way in the morning, two sides rolling right along, I was impressed......not so fast!...a big fella with a head set was swapped in to keep things rolling in order to give the previous auctioneer a breather... normal right? Things went south from there. Not only was he a screamer/yeller, his jokes didn't get a single laugh. In less than 30 minutes he had 2 mis-bids, and told a customer that the way it is over the speaker. Wow...he was so concerned about going fast that you could hardly understand him at all. Now 35 minutes in and a 3 mistake, sold a lot, then realized he screwed up due to it being 4 items on one pallet, receded the sale and the buyer was pissed, rightfully so. Again he said thats the way it is. Mistake number 4, took a closing bid from one person while the floor guy had a bid from another person, both thought they got it, again that is the way it is. He left the auction pissed off. The auctioneer in the morning (small tools/misc) was smooth, clear, nice steady pace. It actually moved faster. The floor guy in the little straw hat, Ray Ban sunglasses and cowboy boots had some sort custom hand signal system of his own that apparently only he understood. It was fun to watch, kind of a combination of "deadly Catch" and "baseball" signals. Multiple times bidders sounding off with, "what does that mean", is it to me or the other guy, did it get it. The other floor guys were very consistent. Being a seasoned auction attendee I found myself questioning the operations of this auction co. Not so sure some of the sales were closed appropriately. However, seemed well organized, staff was seen being very helpful in the car area and a damn good Trip-tip BBQ. read more

We went to look at cars at 777 Action Co. in Atascadero on Sunday (8/19/18) for the first time. We planned to buy a car only if we had a good deal. Chris the finance manager came out to meet is. We explain to him what we were looking for. What I liked about Chris is that he was not pushy, didn't try to sell us something we didn't want, he listen. We close the deal on Monday. My family used 777 for an estate sale and got ripped off. They don't keep good records and lost several boxes. When they did find our inventory, we received pennies. We were told our inventory would be sold at an auction on a particular date and then they kept putting us off without any notification. It took several months before they settled with us. I'm not a complainer but somethings are just not right. I had 777 auction a bunch of my stuff. Their auction rate is per item, not per bunch of stuff, so they make pretty good money here. After several communications they picked up a bunch of my stuff and made a bunch of money. All fair and all good, right? Oh no, not so soon, they got greedy and took out extra money that was never disclosed! The thing that upsets me is they charged a substantial amount of money for pick up, and the fee was never discussed, never mentioned, and not on their fee form they sent me. Their form says pick up is available. It does not mention any possible fee, and no one ever mentioned a fee. Considering what they profited, it should have been free. I emailed and asked to be returned their pickup fee and they are not writing back. Looks like small claims court on this easy to win case. Looks like 777 is greedy and not being fair. Like I said, they made plenty off me to stay in business. Beware. Side note. The fellas who picked up my stuff were great and the person I had been communicating with was great too, just kept some of my money and never said it could happen. read more

I went to this auction house as a referral from an Antiques Mall, where they appraised my vintage/antique desk from the 1920's as worth $250-$350. When I dropped off my desk at 777 Auction, I was assured that they would price it higher due to its worth. They even said, "we have to make money so it is in our interest to get the best price." After two weeks of waiting for the check, when it arrived I became absolutely LIVID. They sold my desk for $15!!! A beautiful vintage desk worth than a pathetic $15; they only made $5.00 off of my desk. Now I know I wasn't going to get the full estimated value, but $15 is a RIP OFF!!!! It disgusts me that they did this. You see, the commission is higher when the cost of the item is lower. Horrible business, I agree with David H., DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 777 AUCTION Co unless you want your item to be sold pennies on the dollar. My husband and I bought a car from the auction in 2014, had no problems with the car whatsoever and the auction was hassle free. Our family grew so we brought it to their dealership recently and were able to trade it in for a very nice upgraded SUV. Charlie and George worked with us and were unwilling to let us leave without getting us in the car we wanted and needed. We came in later in the afternoon and thought it might be too close to closing but they were still more than willing to talk, test drive, and help with whatever we asked or needed. We met up with Charlie Meador !! Where do I begin ? From the time we first shook hands and met til the time we left with the sold sign and big white bow on the car has been one of the funnest ,most educational and fully satisfying car experience I have ever had ! He was patient and kind and left no questions we had unanswered ! We got a GREAT deal and without question I would go back there in the future and recommend it to everyone I know ! Took my Buick to be sold at auction 14 months ago. They sold it after telling me I would get a min. of $1500.00. In the last 14 months, no calls, no contacts. I called repeatedly with absolutely no response from them. Finally last week I went down to the lot and was told the owners weren't there. The girl there took a copy of my paperwork. Yesterday I received a check in the mail for $380.00. Folks, this Buick was cherry and I was straight up ripped off.
