Upon entering, you'll sign in at their computer and answer a few quick questions, such as your last donation date, blood type, etc. Shortly after, a phlebotomist will escort you to the back to begin the process. The phlebotomists are kind, calm, and professional, and not overly chatty, so you can easily zone out, listen to music, or read while donating. They also offer magazines in case you forgot your book or want to browse the latest NJ Monthly. Afterward, you'll head back to the front of the store, where a long, spotless table is set up with refreshments. I especially appreciate the sink they provide so you can wash your hands before eating or drinking. Walk-ins are welcome, though making an appointment is recommended.

Admittedly, I was looking for a different antiques shop, but I'm happy I stayed and looked around anyway. I was a little creeped out at first because no one was there when I walked in. I called a few times but still no answer. I felt really weird walking around and thought I was going to creep up on someone so I literally just kept calling until I found someone. Turns out they were working on some upholstery work in the back. The owner was super nice and told me to look around and let her know if I had questions. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but these two small little jars/vases caught my eye and I am a big sucker for little chachkies. Nothing in the store was priced so I took them back to her to find out their cost. She was able to let them go for $4 each, so I considered them my find of the day! They sit very proudly on the center of my coffee table, adorned in tiny daisies. She had a lot of great furniture but I didn't have a need so I didn't look too thoroughly.
