I went back to return a $4.99 shirt (more on that later). While standing in line three of the four customers ahead of me also had a return. The young black gal cashier would call "Code One" over the intercom, and we'd have to wait for a "manager" to come to the register to perform the return. And each time the tall white dude or tall white gal would continue doing what they're doing, and finally make their way to the register. Sometimes the cashier would need to call (the Code One) a second time, and you could clearly see the "manager" just doing something else, and finally come to the register. This whole time the checkout line comes to a standstill, and everyone just waits. The woman ahead of me had a return, and when the female manager was done with her return, I told the manager, hey, I also have a return. You know thinking she would maybe stay at the register. Nope; she walked off. And 30 seconds later when I got to the register, the sweet young black gal cashier (who amazed me with her patience, and is the only reason I gave any stars at all) had to call "Code One"; and three minutes and 20 seconds later the same female manager returned to do my return. Okay, Goodwill, back to the $4.99 price on men's short sleeve shirts AND t-shirts, that until recently t-shirts were $2.99. You do realize we can go to Walmart and get brand new t-shirts for $5-$6. Stopped in to drop off a half dozen of my wife's shoes that she's no longer interested in wearing. Easy to pull up to the door and an associate came out, unloaded them and handed me a receipt. It doesn't get simpler than that. Afterwards, I popped inside to see what was what. Clothing is well-organized in most sections and they have a lot of it. I spotted a suitcoat that was tempting but then, when am I going to need to be dressed to go into the office again? Prices are clearly marked and they move people through the line quickly. This Goodwill is the worst one I have ever visited. It has shopping carts with nasty tissues and thrash in them IF you can even find a cart. Some of the cashiers are very rude and do not like to answer your questions. read more

Unfortunately won't be coming back to this location, it was decent for a little bit and that's a stretch but this time was probably the worst. The older man who stocks items often named Mark was absolutely rude to me and my boyfriend while we were shopping. There was a bin of stuff sitting out and I picked a cologne up to smell it, he came tapping me telling me to put it down that he hadn't "stocked" it yet. I told him I didn't know or see a sign. Then asked him if he could sit it on the shelf so I could pick it up and he said told me no. Absolutely spiteful and not how you treat people. Make signage if you don't want merchandise touched or at the bare minimum be polite. Disappointed. read more

They make it so easy to give back. You can hit the drive-thru and someone will assist you unloading. They will give you a receipt so you can document for your taxes. I recently dropped off some items and then went inside and found a nice Bissell 3 in 1 for $7 bucks ! read more

Went to drop off donations this morning at 9:40 am. There was already a pile of items on the curb. When I went to place my bag with the pile, an employee came out very disgruntled. He said, "we don't open u til 10!" I responded with the hours on the door that say 9:00! I left my stuff and drove away. I didn't have time to argue or come back in 20 Minutes. I am totally disappointed! First of all this Goodwill is the first to not have a dressing room in the store. Then, I asked if I could use the bathroom to try on clothes and the little black girl told me they weren't supposed to let people try on clothes in the bathroom. I told her how they let these 2 teenage girls try clothes on in the bathroom and she said they don't do it anymore. But, yet if I wasn't satisfied I could bring the clothes back for a store credit. So exceptions can be made for some people and not others? Why are they the exceptions? Well it's not because I am white because they are white, too. Could it be because I am a male and not a female? Could it also be that they think that they could make exceptions because they are females and they think females give them more business than males do? I don't know. But I also won't be shopping anymore at Goodwill since they did away with dressing rooms. Those communists!! I'll donate my clothes to Salvation Army. At least they still have dressing rooms. Goodwill has gotten greedy over the years. They even did away with plastic bags? Won't be shopping AT ANY Goodwill anymore!! At least Salvation Army isn't greedy or communists!! read more

If I could give this location a 0 star review I absolutely would. The manager Kasmire at this location is awful. She was rude to my party on multiple occasions, and she doesn't follow the stores policies. She waits for certain customers to enter the store, and then rolls out bins specifically for them on Thursdays so they can have "special pick" because they're friends outside of the store. Several times the bathroom has been out of order, which is inconvenient. Every time I come the carts are strayed everywhere and have all sorts of nasty tissues and trash in them. It's just really uncomfortable having people's nasty tissues in the cart especially during COVID. Cashiers complain that they're not allowed enough water breaks or fans up front, I feel awful for them. Save yourself some time and go to the steel creek location instead, it's much nicer. read more

I've been a frequent shopper of this location since it has opened and is definitely one of my favorite locations of any thing stores, somehow tho it's has now become "trendy" to thrift shop so there is usually people already waiting to get in 15-20 mins before opening and seems to always be packed nowadays l!! read more

Having just opened, this store seemed well organized and clean. I liked it. The shape of the store was kind of strange; it was wide and rather narrow. It didn't seem as big as some of the other Goodwill stores that I frequent. One of my favorite things here is the book section. It is very organized and even has a little table and chair where you can sit down and look at what you are considering buying. Kinda like a bookstore! It took me a little longer to get to this store from my South Charlotte home than what I thought it would. The jury is out as to whether it will be worth it in the future. I think that they are shipping items into this store so that they can get it up and running well. Once it stands on its own, it will be interesting to see the kind of merchandise that is donated there. It definitely deserves another shot. read more
