To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to formally report an issue that occurred on January 23, 2026, at the Kohl's location in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I arrived between five and ten minutes before closing to make a simple return--well within the posted business hours. Despite this, the doors were already locked, and the staff inside clearly saw me at the entrance but chose to walk past as if they didn't see me. What made the situation even more concerning was that three employees were still inside preparing to leave, and a cash register was open because they were still actively cashing out another customer. As a family who shops at Kohl's frequently and spends a significant amount of money across your stores, it was disappointing to be treated this way. We are highly paying customers, and being dismissed at the door--especially while the store was still assisting others--was unacceptable. I had driven 35 minutes to reach this location before closing, and I should have been allowed to complete a simple return. When a customer arrives within the final minutes of business hours and requests assistance, staff should honor that request rather than locking the doors early or ignoring the customer. I hope this matter is addressed promptly, and that employees are reminded of the importance of honoring posted hours and treating all customers with respect up until the actual closing time. When I moved to Fort Mill, I was aware of this location but only stopped in recently due to some marking I saw for their Black Friday sales. I was impressed. They have branded clothing like Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Under Armour and Nike. If you're a golfer, you'll be pleased to see their selection of golf clothing at a discount. They also have a brand called Sonoma that offers very good prices and good quality on crew neck sweaters, 1/2 zip jackets and vests. The quality and prices are so good. The other element I like about this place is there are CR Attendants, available. Yes, they are happy to talk to you and help you find a product or answer questions. Thank you Crystal, you represent your store well! Register for their loyalty program before you go and shop. There are multiple discounts and coupons that can be used in store or on-line. They have an efficient Return Desk as well as an Amazon Return option. Their 'deep discount' sales racks are a challenge. Not very organized, many products missing prices and all Jamed into a small rack. I bought a package that had multiple gift wrap boxes, it was $10 bucks. I was very disappointed to see the same product at Walmart for half that price. The line for check-out may be long, but they are very efficient, quick and friendly. The most pleasant surprise when I check out was being selected as the 'random' registered shopper to get their purchase FREE! What!? Yes, they do it once and day, I only wished I had picked out more stuff!

I was just here and had a decent experience. There is a TON of clothing for ages infant-teen, but…read moremost items are for infants and toddlers. Everything was neatly sorted by age and I was quickly able to find some really cute stuff for my 9 month old daughter. It's worth it to really take the time to peruse the racks, because the clothing is packed so tightly in some areas that great stuff gets hidden in the back. I found name-brand items that were basically brand new and couldn't be happier with my purchases. The service was ok. It took a while for the young girl behind the counter to notice I was there, even though she was just standing there with her hands in her pockets. This location would be a little difficult to navigate if more than one person tried to walk down the aisle at a time because the racks of clothes are very close together. I'm talking like, mildly claustrophobic. There was a huge consignment event going on the next parking lot over and was the main reason I came to Rock Hill. I went there first and actually found just as many items at this Once Upon a Child as I did at the enormous consignment sale. So that says good things about the variety and prices at this location.

They had some very nice clothing items and accessories. Moat of the clothing I saw was sheer or in thinner fabrics (not sure if it's because it's the summer season or if is a norm for clientele) the shirts appear to be shorter where they will show your belly ( crops or bra tops mainly) some are strapless or have spaghetti straps. It just depends on your personal preference of clothing that you're interested or are looking for. If your going out or need weekend clothes this may be for you. The largest size they cary is a large. They note occasionally they may carry an extra large but it's rareI didn't see many larges in the items I liked. The average woman is an extra large (14-16) maybe hey are missing the mark. The prices vary based on the item you're interested in. Hope you enjoy your experience.
