Take me to the thrift shop mom. OK let's do this kids. Omg talk about a total cluster f#$%! Everything is all mixed up with absolutely no order. Also really high price tags for mostly extremely used items. I remember thrift shop's being reasonably priced and way better stuff. Like 50 cents to no more than 10 bucks for clothes. Household items being 5 bucks to no more than 100. The price tags on some of the clothes was outrageous for being used. Like 6 bucks for raggedy shirts and 20 bucks for raggedy jeans. I'm all for recycling and reusing but come on. I still got my kids what they wanted but seriously could have went to Burlington and bought brand new for the same price. My only reason for not just leaving is that I know the Goodwill gives a lot back to many communities and persons in need. I know my kids will want to come back because they're into this thrift shop thing right now. As for me I wouldn't return. read more

Useless. Load your vehicle, drive down there, they won't take your items. Today, a sign out front tells you to drive around to the back door if you happen to have one of the handful of donations they will take. After you snake around behind all the other buildings you discover there IS no back door, no signs, nada. Really? For a business that RELIES on donations they sure make it hard to actually give them something. This place used to be reliable, but like lots of business during Covid; there is a decided management failure. I can't tell if the staff is unaware of how to treat people, or the site administration suffers from the same "F" you attitude and just allows it to trickle down throughout the entire building - really doesn't matter, the outcome is the same. If your time, gas and effort doesn't matter to you, you can roll the dice and see if they will begrudgingly accept your donations. Otherwise find another way to support the community. read more

I'm not sure why they organize by color instead of size, very difficult to shop that way especially in the kids section. Also for dropping off donations they are extremely frustrating. I drove there 3 separate times after calling beforehand to ask when to come. First time they said their truck was full, 2nd time asked me to wait another 15m, 2nd time right after waiting they said their employee there to accept donations was on lunch break. Why would they have told me to come back when there wasn't anyone to accept it? When I asked when the employee would be back a staff woman who was clearly annoyed at me for asking shooed me off with her hand while walking away and said "I don't know...later...." I had been very patient with them for having had me come back 3 separate times after arriving at the times they originally told me to. It's more convenient for me to just throw the stuff away but I wanted to help by donating. I don't donate trashy things, I only save the nicest things to give away. Thrift stores aren't what they use to be! This store is Expensive! I don't live in the area, but when I am in the area I will stop by this store before going home. I haven't been to this location in a couple of months. The staff is nice, but those prices are expensive. I have noticed that stores will price certain brands higher than others. For example, a sports bra may be $5.99, but a Nike sports bra will be $7.99 or $9.99 even though it's a sports bra. If an item is donated new with tags the store will price the item higher, so sometimes you will be better off going to a retail store and paying regular price because it will be cheaper. I understand COVID and capital that was loss. These prices are too high. Those items will end up sitting in the store. I didn't come to the thrift store to spend $50 on 4 items. Maybe next time I will pray that the items I like will be 50% off the day I come. read more

They get so many clothes! I find so many gems here! You have to arrive early for the best stuff, but they change it up many times throughout the day. Not as clean as I may prefer and its definitely not your typical goodwill if thats what you are looking for. Get ready to dig through lots and I mean LOTS of junk/dirty clothes. The wife and I have been on a thrift store kick lately! Ya almost gotta be with the economy being what it is these days. My wife is what you'd call a "large and lovely" gal, and anyone of that ilk knows how hard it is to find fashionable clothes in good condition at a decent price. Ever check out the prices at Lane Bryant's or Torrid?! AAAIIEE!! Yer likely to leave a little butt-hurt! That being said, the wifey has also lost a decent amount of weight the past couple years and has had a good deal of luck selling her larger clothes that no longer fit on Ebay; so we've been hitting up many of the local thrift stores to see what selection they have not only for her own personal wardrobe - but so see if she can find any bargains to sell online - and this place has filled the bill nicely in both regards! This place is far more than a donation center - its a full-on store that specializes in clothing. It's in the Albertson's Plaza on Boulder Avenue, in the old location where there was once a Gold Crown Hallmark. What impressed us about the place was how clean and organized it is! There are rows and rows of clothing, well organized by type (i.e. blouses, jeans, intimate wear, etc), and even some by color! All of the clothes are in great used shape - all clean and well tended to. The prices are also wonderful. Most are in the $4 - $10 dollar range, and most jeans are $8!! They also have an okay selection of shoes to choose from. Their home good section is a bit small, as is their furniture section - though the items are in great shape - and whenever we go there we usually see at least one couch being purchased and hauled away. They also have a small but growing selection of books to choose from. They employees are friendly and helpful, and the store is very clean and airy and brightly lit. They also have "Color Tag" sale from time to time, where like everything with a particular colored tag is half off, etc. And sometimes they have a promotion where, if you bring in a box of donations, you get 25% off your shopping day! Woohoo! We've visited both this location and the one in Redlands, and its really nice to see these stores popping up. You can find some really cool stuff here - and not all of it used; some of it is new with or without tags. Heck, the last time we were there...we saw a group of teenagers plowing through the clothes and finding all kinds of stuff and having a great time. One young man even found a suit for a job interview. If that doesn't add to a place's "cool factor", I don't know what does! read more

This particular shop has gone downhill they ship all their product out instead of sorting to sell them selves. The manager is unprofessional and rude. She bashes employees in front of customers. When customers take too long in dressing room she bangs on the door to scare them out. I like to shop thrift stores to relax and find treasure this place is stressful . My friend and be visit this goodwill on Boulder at least 2 times a week. We always walk out with many good items. We both resell vintage items. Since covid the shelves have decreased for hardwoods such as glass. However, we always manage to walk out happy with what we have purchased. Yes some prices are a bit on the high side as far as Goodwills used to be. But again covid had them closed for quite awhile. The employees are always very helpful, kind and considerate. I'm in this plaza frequently for banking, groceries restaurants, etc., so I stop by here fairly often to browse in between errands. The clothing area is large and well organized. Clothing is sorted by gender, type and color.Their children's section is very small, but always crammed to full capacity. I've been able to find some cute party dresses for my little granddaughter to use for playing princess dress up. For readers, there is a large wall of books that include novels, non-fiction, kids' books mixed with a few videos and record albums. The small housewares/furniture section is sparse and less diverse, turning over with much less frequency than other thrift stores its size.This area always looks a mess and often items are broken or dirty. Still, you can still find some treasures if you're persistant and willing to spend some time poking around. Best finds for me have included a portable artist's easel and vintage dishware. read more

Again Highland store never ceases to amaze me! These people lied to me, lied to my face tonight and that's the worst part about this!! I did not know that bumped up their prices to $7.99 for sleeveless tops, that's the price you pay for a dress! Tonight I found some tops that were sleeveless marked at 799 yellow tag which I thought was a mistake and they were marking them as they were dresses! So I asked them if they could price them as short sleeve tops, both tops had $7.99 and were yellow tags which was 25% off today! They went and changed the tags to white tags at $7.99!, why didn't they just leave them yellow if they weren't going to weren't going to change the price! That was retaliation because I complained about the prices! Then when I asked them why they took the yellow tags off at $7.99 and replace them with a white tag at $7.99, they lied to my face and said they had no tags on them! Funny thing is how did they know that they were $7.99 when I showed that to them, and I guarantee you that they were $7.99 yellow tags and they were on them both , in fact they still had the yellow plastic thing on it! So Goodwill are you resorting to lying to your customers now, customers that have been faithful and shopping with you for years! And why are you bumping up sleeveless tops to $7.99, I can buy them cheaper at Walmart or Ross! I hope the people read this and do not donate their clothes to Goodwill in Highland, or any other Goodwell! Give them to thrift shops at least they're honest in their pricing! Highland Goodwill is the most expensive Goodwill that there is, they bump up the prices on everything to phenomenal amounts! Goodwill get a clue, the stuff is given to you, its donated free of charge, you do not have the right to gouge your customers! read more

My brother and I have been going at least once a week for the last year, and I have to admit, we find something to get every week. Service is slow, but they usually have only one person working at a time. I will never blame staff for managements faults. It is still faster to check out than the time it takes at the nearby Albertsons. I will come back soon to see what it has for me next! read more

Very poor customer service when donating items. Rude worker from the get go. Maybe he was tired, but I have never met rudeness when trying to donate items. Horrible donation experience today. Much better to go to a different location (waterman was pleasant) or amvets where they will help you put your boxes down and let you know where to put them. It is ok you don't accept items (of course!) but it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Never again. They seem upset to be working there and that they would rather you not come at all.
