Unfortunately, over the years, the goodwill has declined. I'm a big nonprofit person. However, the Goodwill is for profit. Anything you donate to them goes to their pockets not necessarily to the community and many of their items are overpriced. Now where you can go online or to a simple Walmart and find the same thing brand new and not used I'm very disappointed in how much they mark things up considering everything they've gotten has been free and donated from the public and businesses. read more

We had such a great time. this place is so well organized, the clothing is generally in great condition, the shoes are also very clean. It seems like they clean before putting out so that's helpful. The staff is very friendly and I notice inclusive staff so that's always nice to see. They have great prices and deals. Coming again! read more

This huge Goodwill store has a different name called Goodwill Connect. I think it's a connection for GIGO - garbage in and garbage out. I brought my junk to the donation station on the right side of the store. I believe they will be processed and brought to justice. Some get to stay with humans, some go to the metal bins. End results are the same... Get connected with another entity. I consider the store clerk was fairly friendly compared to those Goodwill Outlets Store near my house. They have buyers that they prefer and sell to them first. Had a horrible experience there with a vase I had asked a worker to get for me, she said that when I checked out they would bring it to the front. I checked out and asked for the vase, a man had it in his cart. They sold it to him with no apologies to me from their interaction he is known to them. read more

Across from Auntie Changs this is a great spot for designer gear. I found a lily Pulitzer tank top for $20 work $80. It was Halloween week so the place was a made house. The staff was very helpful and tge store was well organized. read more

I went to this store hoping to find some nice clothes to wear and i was impressed to see how big their selection was while walking in. There were many racks of clothes and it was very nice. Although, some pieces were overpriced since they are donated. For instance, a plain tee shirt was $6 when you can buy a brand new one that's not faded or stained at Target or Old Navy. read more

The only good thing about this Goodwill is the employees. They are polite and courteous and they keep that place clean. The Goodwills in Houston as a whole are overpriced. This one is no exception. $13 for a used shirt that was delivered straight to their door for free is ludicrous. Then a Chloe bag that looked as if it was drug through the streets of Mogadishu for 10 miles. I mean filthy and skinned like a chicken. I walked out with one thing.... A pair of scissors! I like coming here for clothes since clothes are priced the same no matter what goodwill you're visiting, but housewares (all other things that aren't consistently priced across goodwill locations) are WAY overpriced at this location. If something has an original price on it, I can bet they're going to give it that price. Goodwill is a resale shop and their prices should reflect that! Don't sell me something for the original price. Edit: decided to visit today for clothes shopping. Couldn't help but look at housewares and came across a plastic tray looking thing that had no clear purpose with a crack down the middle for $6.99. I used the restroom and noticed not for the first time they didn't have soap. They had foam sanitizer that looks like soap. I'm not coming back here anymore. read more

Omg!!! One of my favorite Goodwill locations. I found so many cute blouses and skirts for church. As well as a few cute outfits for my little ones. I was in a bit of hurry so I was only shopping for an hour and I feel like I need to go back soon with plenty of time to spare. This location is definitely worth the far drive. I bought 2 outfits for myself and 3 outfits for my little ones and I spent under $40. I got lots of compliments on my outfits. I love knowing that I'm saving my husband lots of $$$ now that I am a bargain thrift store shopper and a stay at home mom :)) I will be returning soon to check out their home decor and knic knacks and of course clothes. read more

Never having seen a 'select' Goodwill before, I had to go in and see what exactly made it so special. It's not enormous, but it's a lot cleaner and there's more higher-end items than other stores. And everything is ironed. That's more than I can say about my own closet. Of course the prices aren't as dirt cheap as your standard Goodwill, but still reasonable. I paid $10 for a Gap shirt and a pair of Adidas track pants, so I consider that a successful thrift excursion. T-shirts on the other hand probably aren't worth $3 a piece. read more

Did NOT think I would enjoy shopping at Goodwill this much! We were very tight on time, so we were only there for 10 minutes. But I got a nice Ann Taylor skirt for $6 and my husband got a nice Nike Golf polo for $4. When I have kids, I'm shopping here for cheap clothes!! I used to enjoy this location and was a frequent shopper. Unfortunately, this location has become way over-priced. Their "boutique" racks are kind of ridiculous. So much of that clothes might be a nicer brand but it's outdated. The clothing and things throughout the store that are decent might actually cost you less brand new during a good sale at the original store. I did find a nice purse there recently but when I went to check out, the cashier saw the price it was marked at and started asking the workers around her about it. She stopped ringing up my items and called someone over to look at it. So, instead of honoring the price on the bag, I was asked to pay 3X the price because someone had "marked it wrong." As if it was my fault. What's worse is that they weren't even apologetic about it. Be prepared to over pay on used Walmart and Target clothes or older name brand clothes at this location. And if you happen to find a "gem" be prepared to have the price changed on you when the people at the front see it. read more

Overall I like Goodwill stores... especially for costume shopping. While smaller than some of the others I've been to I found this one nicely laid out and didn't have the moth ball/dust smell some of the others have. The staff was friendly and while I didn't find anything to buy this time around, I'll be back at some point for sure. read more

This is kind of like a more organized Ross or Marshall's. I come here a couple of times a week on my way to the gym just to browse. On rare occasions, I'll find something worth purchasing. I recently scored a Kate Spade bag in perfect condition for a mere $10-and yes, it was authentic! I got a David Yurman-esque bracelet that I wear all the time for a couple of dollars, and a few Ann Taylor skirts that were the perfect length for my petite proportions. Not everything here is in great condition, but if you have enough patience to peruse the racks, you'll definitely come across some steals. Of course, clean your pre-loved merchandise thoroughly before wearing or using. read more

This Goodwill used to be one of the best in town in terms of selection+price. I used to find high end vintage/mod clothes, furniture, china/silverware and knick-knacks for a lot less. And then over the last year year or two, the stock started thinning and what you find now is more "new" stuff (things from the last 5-10 years). Which is still good in terms of clothes, but not other stuff. The prices have also been increased sharply over the last year and half (almost double). Not sure if this is in response to the increasing traffic to the store. The place is also much more crowded now, even during weekdays. The people who work here are very nice though--friendly, courteous and very helpful. read more

Things from the dollar tree are priced 2.99 and mugs and glasses 4.99?? Insane, you can go to Walmart or target and get things for less and they're new and better quality! C'mon Goodwill! It is with EXTREME trepidation that I write this, because I don't want all of you to rush over and take all my good deals, but I want to help my fellow yelpers! Let me preface this by saying I have never really been a thrift store shopper, but would go to garage sales with my mom when i was little and always got a thrill out of finding something fatastic for a buck. Fast forward 20 years, and I had just moved back to Houston after a 3 year stint in DC and needed a new professional wardrobe after landing a killer job. What to do with not a ton of money to shell out on $200 suits? A friend recommened checking out Goodwill in the Town and Country area. After giving her a yucky face, I wandered over to the Goodwill (turns out it was 2 miles from my house) BOY-was i surrpised! Some of my recent finds there has been a gorgeous Tory Burch work dress for $9.99! Ferragamo shoes for $12.00, super cute suits from tahari, and Nordstrom for $9.99 and lots of cute button down shirts for $5.99. I get complimented daily from the people at work for the clothes I have gotten there, and get satisfaction in knowing that I have saved a TON on clothes! My friend bought some super cute baby clothes too. It's my new favorite place! read more

I have visited this store a couple of times and have never been able to find anything good. The store looks big on the outside but feels tiny when you go in. Their selection of electronics and used music is very small. I haven't looked at the cloths section but I'm afraid that this goodwill just doesn't carry the type of merchandise that I like to buy in a goodwill store. read more
