We always bring our donations here. They make it easy with racks outside the door and a QR code to scan for a receipt. We love supporting them and their mission. As far as thrift shopping goes, however, this isn't my favorite place to come. I feel like their prices are a lot higher than they need to be. My wife found some clothes for our grandbaby. Even found the grandbaby a three wheeled toy that looks like a baby giraffe, the baby can sit on it and push it around. I found a few books and so did my wife. The people working here are super friendly. The proceeds go to Fort Bend's Women's Center....a worthy cause. Our next bag of donates are going here. I walked in today and walked right out when I saw that they have sorted their clothing by color not size. Please go back to sorting by size. I can easily see color, so sorting this way makes no sense. I can't see size without having to look for a tag with the size on it. That takes too long. Goodwill sorts by size. I'll be shopping for clothes exclusively there now. read more

The women in the donation receiving area were rude, ungrateful and didn't smile once. One lady got an attitude with my fiance about the light fixture we were trying to donate. I get ypu don't like your job but we didn't make you work there. We were just trying to donate to help out the women's shelter. The furniture was nice for a resale shop. I saw this cute rocking chair for 40 dollars and it was solid wood. I came for serving dishes. I thought they were overpriced at 10 dollars for a bowl. They did have quality leather jackets for 40 to 25 dollars. read more

This is your average thrift store here in the Houston area, maybe a little more on the cleaner side, given the area. You will find the usual 2nd hand clothes, shoes, bric a brac, books, furniture, electronics, jewelry, and anything else out on the store floor they think they can sell. Much of the clothing I have seen is pretty outdated, so it's not really for younger people, unless you are shopping for a Halloween outfit or a special event. Prices are about what you would expect, with some good deals to be found every now and then. read more

A pretty nice resale shop. Very clean and well maintained it looks like. A hair more expensive than Goodwill or Salvation Army. It supports a good cause! If you had to add some furniture to your house or appliances and were short on cash, I would recommend checking this place out. Plenty of cute trinkets and decorations, too. If you're looking for clothes or shoes, there's plenty to pick from. I saw a lot of expensive items listed here for very cheap. Also lots of retro clothes for those guys and gals that like to dress old school (I'm seriously a sucker for "mom jeans"- they look cute with a trendy retro top). I'd suggest checking for sales they may be having prior to going, like some days are apparently half off clothing prices. It'd be a good bargain for someone who wanted nice things for a lower price. read more

I love that it's half off on Thursday with the purple bag Be aware about delivery. I paid $75 dollars to deliver a patio set furniture, recliner and one heavy side table. The guys said that they cannot go inside the house. And patio chairs and 70 inch glass table . One guy said they cannot put them where I want in the backyard. I'm a small person and believe me I can't lift even if I want because I got hernia. The other white guy just picked them up and carried them for me. I confirmed with the manager when I shopped next. She said maybe if you're extra nice they will carry them in. I said then there's no point in paying for delivery. Overall pennywise is my fun place to go when I'm bored read more

I went to donate tons and tons of clothes, the lady at the front stopped me and said are you sure we're gonna be able to sell all of this because we don't want any clothes that we can't make money from. I assured her it was a lot of namebrand clothes she looked at the bag that it was in and said all we were really not interested. I told her I would take the clothes else where. read more

This review is for curb side donation service. My family and I had dropped off donations numerous times over the past two years. The friendly and smiling employees came out very quickly to pick up the donations every time. Nothing were ever refused. The sale revenue from donated items and the items themself go to Women's Shelter of Fort Bend County which my family and I support wholeheartedly. read more

I love resale shops. I've been in many of them over the years, but this one, sadly, was very, very sad and depressing. Very small men's section. Very small housewares section. Now, they did have some VERY impressive furniture in the back. HUGE pieces easily worth thousands of dollars. But every other item was old, very used, and not worth their prices. read more

Beware when donating good items to this place because the managers take the good items and the truck drivers are in it with them especially the manager from katy and rosenburg stores and when the items on the floor are priced really high is because they want those items for them selves read more

The staff at Pennywise in Stafford are always helping customers out. They truly go above and beyond every day to keep nee items on the floor and put back items that are misplaced. I came in this past weekend and had a great experience and found wonderful shoes for my daughter. Also, great vintage finds. read more

Not a bad little thrift store that benefits the fort bend women's shelter. The store is a bit musty, but has a large collection of clothing and furniture. They also have a prom/evening/wedding gown section that was overflowing with dresses. read more

First off when rating thrift stores u have to say what items you generally thrift for me that's clothing. It just wasn't a big enough selection for menso I was disappointed. Staff was extremely friendly though and I saw some good finds in the furniture section and even a washer for about 100 bucks that's didn't loo more than 6 years old read more

This store location has changed BIG time. They used to be so friendly and welcoming when you enter the door. Now, when you walk in you get the cold shoulders and not even a smile. The customer service reps are too busy on their phones or too busy discussing what's for lunch. The store manager is loud with a very small, if any, business vocabulary and does not contain any managerial skills at all. I simply stopped going there. The prices are ridiculous. I saw a pack of plastic spoons from Target ( Up and Up Brand) - it was priced at $2 while at target less than a buck?!? This store is HILARIOUS!!! read more

I always go here when I'm in need of t-shirts & looking for good deals on cookbooks ($0.50!). I've found some pretty summer dresses & a few pairs of shoes as well. & every season when I clean out my closet this is where I donate, & they will bring a big cart out to your car to collect your donations! Always clean, organized, & staff is super friendly! You usually have to hunt for hidden gems so don't go when you are pressed for time, but I've always found good deals on gently used items. & ive found a couple of cute bowls for fruit there too! read more

Resale places are all about timings,bargains and deals hunting, sometimes you win sometimes not so lucky, the other day I found me a brand new pants and almost new shoes worth about $250 probably worn once or twice for $9.99, it seems almost too good to be true until I was checked out by a very customer friendly manager and was introduced to their discount card program (seriously, everything is already discounted) but it was nice. I left the store with three items worth about $300, and paid less than $20, and none looked old or used att all. This store as improved since they moved to the new location... you need to visit again, and remember with timing and a good eye, you may get a good bargain or sweet deal.
