I came here today to drop off my junk. I know they are other people's treasures. It has the cleanest and coolest air conditioning inside. All prices are standard for brand name and off-brand clothes. But the racks are mixed with everything from one entire family. While I was browsing through men's trousers, I found a bra and a size 16 pants. Wow. Not appetizing to me. I literally flipped through the entire rack for a pair of size 36 jeans. No luck. Oh well. I know they have challenges finding employees. It's ok. Just another large Goodwill Store in Houston.

It's so fun, checking out all the different styles from decades past. They also had a decent selection of men's and women's cowboy boots to get you fixed up for HLSR. I noticed there were lots of women size 6.5 so small foot princesses, this place is for you! At least it was yesterday while I was there. It's spacious clean, and there's plenty of dressing rooms. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. Just be careful to check them because there are holes and pilling. A lot of furniture and household goods. They do deliver, but I don't know what the fee is. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games. You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.

Prices are quite fair for Montrose considering what other consignment stores on Westheimer are charging. You can get good quality clothes here for a fair price. I hate how some resale and thrift stores jack up the prices. He seems to get new things in all the time. He sometimes has to run to get more inventory for the store but his number is posted on the window so you can call him to see when he's coming back to the store if you see something through the window. Highly recommend Second Chance Resale as I LOVE to resale shop... so happy this little gem is now in my neighborhood.
