This Goodwill is located near downtown Indianapolis and it's in sort of an artsy neighborhood so you may find some unique items here at times. This Goodwill is part of the Central Indiana Goodwills. They do not have the half price items like they used to so the value is not as good as it used to be. I still stop in here because of the neighborhood situation. As someone who has become a Goodwill enthusiast, I found this Goodwill to be great for women's clothing. First of all the space is HUGE. The women's section is big and the store overall was in good shape. Of course Goodwill is hit or miss, but this spot just gives off good vibes and great atmosphere- which is what you need when shopping! This is a pretty average Goodwill. It's clean and organized, for the most part. The changing rooms are closed, which is a bummer, so you'll need to inspect each item of clothing carefully and try to eyeball whether it will fit. I think they closed the changing rooms during the pandemic, and they have yet to reopen, for whatever reason. My favorite area of any Goodwill is the home goods section, and this one is just OK. The items seemed to be picked over. On the day that I visited, there were lots of people shopping, which might account for why things seemed to be a little sparse. I have become a Goodwill convert for buying clothing, containers, small appliances, etc. This is one of the better stores. It is usually kept clean and reasonably well-organized. This location seems to have some higher quality merchandise. I usually find something I can use on almost every visit. Highly recommended. read more

let me start this off with the fact tht i hate leaving negative reviews about peoples business but i bought a couple tablets off shop.goodwill and it said they were working but when i recieved them they both did not!!! i have tried countless times to get someone, anyone to respond and help with a refund but nobody has bothered to help me once!!! will not buy from this store again!!! read more

I feel like every goodwill is a microcosm of the neighborhood its located. Fountain square, where its located, has an independent, unique, and youthful feel. The clothes and the things you find there fit that vibe. My largest beef with this goodwill and EVERY goodwill Ive come across in Indy is there are NO DRESSING ROOMS. Why? For gods sake why? I understand its a thrift store and I'll take what I can get but please god just let us have dressing rooms. read more

I love the size of this Goodwill. The staff were not helpful. There was a long line and only one cashier with other staff members just standing around. The staff also were not enforcing masks and I was one of probably two customers wearing masks. There were also some people loitering in the parking lot that made me slightly uncomfortable. I would suggest coming to this location during the day time to avoid this problem. read more

As of 4/18/20, this Goodwill location is still accepting donations. You can make a contactless donation by dropping off your goods in the drive-through area. They have stations marked for household items and bins for clothing donations. I recommend checking the store's policy online for any changes before making your drop-off. Happy donating! read more

This store is so clean!! And by the sounds of other reviews, it was clean before Corona precautions as well. All staff were wearing masks appropriately over mouth and nose plus a sign at the front door enforcing all shoppers to wear a mask as well. When I was here, the store was not crowded with shoppers keeping respectful distance. The shelves were organized, not over packed, and items were easily displayed. The store is always so clean!!!! The staff are very welcoming and ready to help. The manager Angela is alway smiling and encouraging the other employees. One of the cashier had just graduated and Angela was telling others how proud she was of her and that she know the cashier could do it. It really warmed my heart to see her uplifting this young lady. This Goodwill has only been open for a couple of weeks. It's quite large, clean, and well laid out. The clothing is (roughly, but fairly accurately) sorted by size, which makes browsing a lot easier. The staff when I visited were friendly, helpful, and competent. The checkout is laid out with multiple registers and a single line, with an electronic voice that tells you which register to go to. This makes check out very easy and efficient. The first Saturday of the month is 50% off the ENTIRE store! I recommend arriving early; I got there less than an hour after the store opened, and it was already busy. I got some amazing deals, and found some really nice items (such as a beautiful J. Crew coat, nice sweaters, shoes, a leather handbag, etc.) They have a large selection of kitchen items, as well; I got some nice serving plates and a gravy boat in preparation for Thanksgiving. One negative: the parking lot is fairly large, but is poorly laid out and somewhat hard to navigate. Another positive: they're right next to Fountain Square brewing, if all the shopping makes you thirsty :) Pro tip: don't forget to sign up for a Goodwill rewards card, which gives you 10% off at any Goodwill store in Central Indiana on any purchase of $20 or more (before tax.) read more

I like the store a lot, I go quite often and find some good buys. It upsets me that a few good people has been transferred including manager, it is nice to know the employees it makes visiting the location better and for me it makes me want to spend more money because some make you feel welcome....the two in the pic on right side were a pleasure to know and I wish they were still working there! read more
