Kenny was the employee working this morning as we stopped in on Tuesday June 25th @ 8 a.m. The office door was opened and he was kind enough to step out and chat with me plus he answered 2 of my questions about this building. Well stocked vending machines with snacks, candy, gum, and "Soda" PA talk for pop. An area with a special hot beverage machine for coffee, tea and hot chocolate for those winter travelers by car, SUV or those hard working semi truckers who need a comfort relaxing place like this one ! A * 4 star * stop in by opinion with future stops when leaving Pennsylvania for sure. I'm sure I will change my stars to 5 when we stop here again in the Fall of 2019. It's kind of too painful to talk about because after time, life changes to the degree that you don't even remember yourself or what it was like, just that it was something special and now it's gone and it's too much to talk about, and there are no words to describe the emotions except at this rest area is a graveyard to memories that will never be felt the same way again. It's also a perfectly functioning and clean rest area but with no gas or restaurant or anything like that.

For years my husband and I have visited this service plaza. During our most recent visit, I thought that the building and grounds looked to be in good condition. At the Sunoco my husband purchased premium gasoline for our vehicle. We generally think that the 7-Eleven could offer more snacks and beverages to our liking. During a previous visit, I used the women's restroom, and it had lots of available stalls that were fairly clean.

The Mile Marker 163 on Interstate 79 is located slightly south of Edinboro. This mile marker has one rest stop on the Southbound side and one rest stop on the Northbound side. Both rest areas have parking lots, restrooms, and picnic tables. On our roadtrip, my husband and I stopped on the Northbound side of this rest area. We appreciated the opportunity to relax and stretch our legs.

Just mho based on smell, texture and feel. Two sets of towels, tissues, plenty of TP. Plenty of hot water and the shower head has 3 spray options. Plenty of vanity space. Breakfast on a Monday included scrambled eggs, omlettes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, packet oatmeal, cold cereal, bagels, bread to toast, muffins, cinnamon buns, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee and tea. The area was kept very clean and well stocked. Seating area is clean and comfortable. Weather channel on the TV. Ice machines are next to the elevator on each level. Guest amenities include a hot tub. Train whistles and guests arriving around midnight were easily heard from our room. A room receipt was slipped under our door in the morning. Free parking around buulding. Luggage carts available in the vestibule. Shopping and restaurants are just a few minutes away by car. Gas station right next door. Close to the highway.
