The security guard - I use this term lightly - did NOTHING to stop them, although she and the store clerks were aware that the girls had just left the store with bundles of unpaid clothing. It was obvious that no one had been monitoring the front door, or really even cared. This was not a flash mob but three young teens. The manager and "store security" allowed these girls to walk out with hundreds of dollars in stolen merchandise. I was so disgusted by the LAZY manager that I left the store immediately. I will never shop at TH again. Why would anyone ever buy something at Tommy Hilfiger when you can just walk out the door with it? You get to keep the hangar and don't even have to wait in line! Go to this store at your own risk. If you think anyone at the Tommy Hilfiger outlet store is going to protect you if there's a security incident, think again. It's obvious this clothing has no value if it can be stolen so easily. I also care about my own safety and won't shop at a store where crimes can be committed so easily due to a lack of reliable store security.

The store is located in a great, older retail shop with a covered corner entry that lets them showcase some eye catching pieces to entice you inside. The vibe is slightly cluttered chic with distinct sections and it's easy to peruse based on what you might be looking for or discover things you weren't. I personally like that they are not too worried about "staging" like some places and just get the stuff out there. I am never disappointed at the amazing and eclectic collection of furniture, furnishings, decorations, art, books--almost anything you can think of and many things you wouldn't but glad you saw and bought. I always find something fun, useful, maybe even historical from some perspective, to take home. The owners are super friendly, very good humored (we usually have a yuck about something), and just nice to interact with. Ok. Walked in and there was not a soul in sight except for Bonnie. She was seated in a clear plastic chair by the main dink's size table and welcomed us in. She asked if we were looking for anything particular. We told her we were just looking. She explained to us that with the winter sale that many items are 90% off, but was cash only. There are many clothing racks as well as jewelry that was discounted but was cash only. Most of the accessories and some of the clothing racks could be charged. Sunglasses are original price $95, but were discounted by 80%, they could be charged. They had a lot of costume jewelry, some we're very different looking, but nothing really caught my eye. They had a lot of necklaces, dangled earrings as well as hoop style earrings and lots of rhinestone gilded pieces. Scarves as well as stretchable totes. The owner, who is Italian gets a lot of her clothing from New York, many of the pieces reminded me of French, Italian or European style clothing.
