Pleasant experience. A little busy but everyone was nice and we found what we needed.

Ami called me initially reviewed my resume over the phone and scheduled me for an in person meeting. At the meeting we connected very well and she introduced me to Tim Booker who had a candid conversation with me as well. Ami told me that I would be submitted to a position she was working on that closely matched my skills and experience. We reviewed the company and position and agreed that it was a mutual fit. I was told that the next steps would be for me to review my revised resume which Mindfinders will tweak to highlight a lot of my past experience with the current positions duties. After approval I would be submitted to the position and scheduled for an interview. After weeks of being on standby and holding job offers from other employers on hold I reached out to Ami who told me that her family had the flu and she was OOTO for a week or so and would follow up with me. She never followed up with me and I was never told the position was no longer available. I have on numerous occasions reached out to Ami and have either been sent to voicemail or told that she would call me back. If you want to be strung along and waste time pre-interviewing for a job you never formally interview for with a recruiter who doesn't follow up with candidates in a timely manner or at all, choose Mindfinders! I usually don't do public reviews but this was one of the most bizarre experiences I have encountered.

Not the review you are expecting…read more.... Those who know me, know that I am not a 5* guy unless I am happy from start to finish. Today I had a great meal. Lunch done right! This was one of those lunches that quietly hits all the notes. Let's start with the soda bread: perfectly dense without being dry, with a satisfying crunch to the crust. The dried cranberries and raisins added just the right touch of sweetness. Delicious on its own, but even better dipped into the stew-highly recommend doing both. The salad was a fresh spring mix with multiple dressing options. Fruit was also offered, which was a nice touch, though I passed this time. Now for the star of the meal: Irish stew (Stobhach Gaelach). This version was made with beef rather than lamb or mutton, and it worked beautifully. The meat was fall-apart tender, surrounded by classic root vegetables-carrots, potatoes, leeks, parsnips, celery, and onions. The broth carried a gentle black-pepper heat that lingered just enough while staying well balanced. Portion sizes were spot on, not skimpy, not overwhelming, and I walked away comfortably full and very satisfied. Free or paying this meal was great, I will be back next year! Bonus - If you arrived early you could watch the soda bread making demonstration and recipes were handed out to those who were interested.
