Disgustingly disorganized and cluttered up shelves. Stuff all over the place! Prices are ridiculously high!

Zero stars. This place is filthy! They just throw things on the shelves in no order at all and they have all these big blue bins that you have to pick through. Prices were great and everything was organized and pretty clean. Some good finds. The bathroom was gender neutral and probably the messiest place in the whole store. Not gross just towels and tp all over. Employees were so nice and I would love to come back. Semi busy on a Saturday afternoon. Two colors off today was nice too and lots of tags in the colors! The staff was also pulling new racks out as we shopped. read more

I was in the area visiting Harpers Ferry, WV. After our adventure we thought it would be cool to check out the Goodwill. We found some great finds *Brand new shiatsu massager with heat rotators $8 *Gently used Apples to Apples board game $3 *Really nice clothes, in particular for plus size women (size 16 and 18) This place was really dusty. It could have been from things sitting during COVID but I sneezed the entire time. The staff was very helpful. The shiatsu's price was so hard to believe. An employee guided me to a wall plug and voila, it worked great. I would definitely go back again the next time I'm in town. read more

I have gone here several times to check out what they have and buy some baby clothes for my son. The prices are always decent and the service is always friendly and helpful. You can find a lot of different things here. I have also dropped stuff off here, which you have to go around back to drop it off, and sometimes they don't answer when you knock, so I just leave the bags of clothes/etc there next to the door. The few times people have been out there or answered my knock, they were very helpful with getting the bags out of the car. read more

I love thrift stores and even more Goodwill, but this particular store is one of the most expensive ones. I prefer other locations than this one. $7 for a used t-shirt? Really? I can buy a new one at walmart for $5. They have to reorganize and see the market, then put the prices. read more

The changing rooms are locked here unlike other locations, so I waited around for about 10 minutes until an employee showed up to ask her to unlock a room. She told me that she lost her key and "the little oriental lady in the back has the other key. She'll be out soon". I assume they're trying to prevent theft by keeping the changing rooms locked but when no employee was on the floor for 10 minutes, it would have been easier to just walk out with the $6.99 jeans lol. I only waited like 5 more minutes for the woman with the key to decide she wanted to come out. She never did, so I left with out the pants. I worked in retail for about three years and it isn't that hard to find another employee when a customer needs them, especially when it seems like there are only two people working. This is a sham organization, period. We,the community, donate countless items to these stores. When we purchase something from these stores they ask us to round up our payments to help with job trainings and we always do. After I dropped off couple bags full of donations yesterday at this particular store in Charles Town, WV, I tried to purchase an alarm clock for my young son, the price marked on it was $1.00, I was surprised by the cashier saying that that was not the right price. She left me standing at the register and strutted to the back of the store and came back 30 seconds later with a new price of $4.00 for the lousy clock. I asked to speak to the manager and complained of the shameful, deceitful and misleading sale practice but, of course, she was supportive of her cashier and all but accused me of changing the price on the clock from $4.00 to $1.00. I left that store and vowed to never, ever donate anything to goodwill and to do everything I possibly can to deter other people from donating to them. You'll better serve your community by donating to the Salvation Army instead. read more

I donated many items here and asked if I could throw the cardboard boxes in the dumpster-I was then told that if I did, they would call the police for dumping. Really?? Years later I decided to go to a sale where certain items were not included. When I checked out I asked the clerk if items in my purchase were included in the sale. I was told yes. I was then rang up and paid for my purchase. Signed the receipt. The purchase was bagged. Another "sales associate" with long gray hair came and dumped the bag out, said the items "were not included" and started throwing my purchase in different piles. I told her she better either give me my purchase or return my money to me ASAP. She did and flicked the me. What was that all about. Isn't this a training program and a charity? You not only lost a purchase, but you just proved that you failed epic. Shop and donate elsewhere. read more
