It was the best goodwill until they changed the layout. I loved this goodwill and it was my go to until they made it completely insufferable to shop in. I wouldn't choose any other goodwill over this one! Not only is it close and convenient to me, but it's the cleanest goodwill I have ever seen! I've found so many cool items here as well, clothing, instruments, room decor, you name it. Not only does this place have amazing items for cheap with a super clean interior, but the staff here is downright THE best. I've only had one bad experience from one of the DAs but i believe he's either fired or quit. Some star employees to name: Michelle has always been friendly, talkative, and engaging wherever I am in the store! She's always incredibly interested in what I found and has helped me with discounts, missing tags, pricing, etc. 10/10 michelle! Keith is a new manager to the store and he's doing amazing! everything is in order and is taken care of! He's incredibly friendly and easygoing, which makes having a question or having a conversation with him very pleasant! Keep going Keith! Lilly is also incredibly welcoming and friendly! hasn't been a time where i've been in the store without being greeted by her or helped out by her! She does an excellent job overall, either on the register or organizing the store. Here you go Lilly Ethan. I have gone to Goodwill at this location for years. The outside pick up guys have always been helpful when I bring items buy. But today 1/ 23/23 Anthony and his side kick were so disrespectful. Stood there watching me unload my items and somewhere heavy. I had to ask him to help me because I had a bad back. It was obvious he didn't want to. He then threw my stuff into the bend with no care at all. When I asked him to be respectful he said I don't know why you are so upset, we don't sell most of this stuff anyway" Really? Do we donate our clothes, books furnture items to a place that gets rid of them and who knows where they go? The dump? It doesn' matter where you work. When you work with the public it us important to be respectful. I will not be going back after this experience. read more

Out of all of the Goodwill stores that Mesa and the surrounding communities has to offer this is by far the cleanest and accurately priced Goodwill. Many of the others price so inconsistent with like items it's frustrating to shop. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell they like their jobs there. There Is less stained and broken items on the floor. The shelves are generally full without being overstuffed. You are greeted when you walk in and many times offer assistance out. read more

I am very disappointed that this store has not really given this a real concern over the coronavirus. Taking all these donations and having employees go through them. allowing 2 pair of glove latex a day, for handling, wiping things down, they need to reuse them over and over. Super friendly staff. Nice shop overall. Selections are hit or miss for non-apparel items. On an earlier visit last month, we found lots of treasures, this week, not so much. Love that it's by Albertson's for food shopping après. Staff are masked and gloved. (Thank you !!) but the spacing of racks could use some improvement. We just started "critiquing" this aspect of stores, not necessarily saying this store is more tightly spaced than others. Overall love coming here at off hours when it's near empty and we have plenty of space to ourselves. read more

Came to this location today on my way home from work since I haven't been in before. I was excited for the selection because it seems like a newer store. Everything I saw was in good-excellent condition and the store was really clean. I won't be back due to the prices. I thought the ones near me marked things up-but it's nothing compared to this location. I had a cart of about 10 things I was contemplating on and put them all back because I couldn't justify paying that much at goodwill. It seems like over half of their clothing was marked at at least 17.99. Brands from Walmart and target for 9.99-12.99. A shirt that was new with tags for 19.99 was marked at 17.99. Noticed that the staff at goodwill will remove the sale price items off the shelf and replace with higher/no color sale price. For instance, 1/23/2020 was Pink Dollar Tag, so I notice several employees sweeping the store and pulling the Pink Dollar tags off the shelf and taking them to the back to CHANGE the color tag so it will be higher price. Managers do the same and I watched this happened and confronted the manager, the customer could benefit from the sale but Greedwill cannot let that happen. Seen this multiple times so I am thinking this is a standard practice as in not an isolated incident. Taking my business to Salvation Army and Sunshine Acres, donations and purchases. read more

While this Goodwill doesn't always have exactly what I'm looking for I've found amazing stuff, all the same, each time I've been in. The prices are comparable to what I expect to find in any secondhand store, often in better condition than I'm used to seeing and the merchandise never looks picked over to the point it's not even worth looking. I only have a couple of "complaints" and they're both so minor...there is a lady cashier who is SO incredibly nice that even though it's apparent that she hasn't been there long I'm not at all bothered by the inevitable long checkout time or the fact that there were things she just didn't know. Truthfully, I don't expect over and above friendliness from any one working retail and when I experience it I tell everyone I know. My only other complaints is for thrift/secondhand stores across the board--I'm allergic to cats and it seems like everyone who has ever donated anything has at least one cat. Shopping secondhand is always a trigger for sneezing, congestion and red, itchy eyes. This Goodwill has the distinction of being worth the reaction for the great finds I've gotten here! read more

I recently read reviews for my local Goodwill store. I thought I would leave my own for others to review. Yesterday I made the rounds to several stores in the area, using my 20% off coupon found online and 50% off colored tag of the week. I found these two gems for $6.99. Our store is clean, friendly and helpful with the furniture. I have in the past shared my project ideas with cashiers and now they remember me when I return. I guess that makes me a treasure hunter!
