The visit today for Halloween shopping was pretty good, there was a wide variety of Halloween items to gaze upon and but I didn't find anything at this store location to bring home with me. The only issue I have with the stores in general is the very small aisle room which leaves customers trying to shimmy around each other or dodging each other while also trying not to bump into anything fragile in the process. I was and am generally always happy with the prices as well, they're reasonable and much less than other stores. My Halloween hunt continues and this time of year always brings me joy and excitement. read more

Home Goods are sort of like the McDonalds of home decor stores. They are all pretty much the same from one location to the other. There are plenty of kitschy things to buy, at decent prices, and if I turned my wife loose here unsupervised I wouldn't recognize my house by the time I got home. The parking lot is decent, but unfortunately this location is crazy busy! Think The Dollar Store on half off day. We found the table placemats we were looking for at a reasonable price, but hopefully I won't have to go back anytime soon as by the time we left I had been pushed aside by exuberant housewife's enough times that I was getting pretty twitchy. read more

Holidays are one of my favorite times to pop in and see what's available. They have a great selection of home and pet items, at discounted retail prices. I was so surprised to see so much more than my location had to offer including the baskets I was looking for. The store was really busy and quite messy in some areas of the store. Had to return an item I purchased from the Scottsdale location so I ended up going to this location due to convenience. Was just going to be in and out to return but of course that's pretty much impossible. I don't think I've ever met a Home Goods I didn't like and this location is no exception. This store is smaller but has similar merchandise as the other locations. I do think Scottsdale location's merchandise is more appealing though. Like the other locations, they have enticing items right by the checkout/return lines so couldn't resist and ended up buying some chocolate covered pretzels. I even found a camping mat for my dog at the pet section. They have everything your dog will ever want or need! read more

A friend saw a bicycle table at California Home Goods and we wanted to find one here in AZ. We called this store and a friendly lady answered and they said that they had one and would hold it for 2 hours. Great! We went to the store and it was there waiting for us. We also bought some nice bedding while at Home Goods. They rung us up quickly and called up two people to load it into the car for us as it was heavy. We are very happy customers! read more

Someone picked up after a long wait she said she would send someone over. Waited another 19 min no one came. I saw two employees walking by and asked if one of them could help me. They both said yes. I inquired about a set of cousin and asked if there were anymore in the back as I needed one more set. They said no so I asked if they could check at a nearby store they preceded to say I the customer would have to look around myself and call other store but I could take a picture of the bar code !! WTH? What's the point of customer service if you're going to do the bare minimum? I've been to other home goods and have NEVER had a poor experience or crappy customer service at a home goods store until this location. read more

Stylish & unique items and great customer service! We have been shopping at HomeGoods for years and have often found the perfect (style + price) accent furniture and accessories. Customer service has always been great--very helpful and friendly staff go above and beyond. In particular, Claudia walking us across the store asking other associates about certain items we needed. Claudia was determined to help us find exactly what we needed! Lisa was also super helpful, holding large items for us upfront so we can continue to shop. Eeek some of these comments make me wonder if I've just been lucky here! This HG is a staple for me when buying gifts (great selection of stationary, gift bags as well as gourmet treats, candles and other giftable items) as well as of course items for around our home, and pet items. I will say this store is HUGE and there is an overwhelmingly large amount of merchandise to choose from (take that as you may). The lines here can get pretty gnarly but I've always had good experiences with the cashiers and staff. Some great deals id you're down for the hunt and I prefer this location to the one on Baseline. read more

Some lady with a pallet cart told me and husband to stand in the aisle "because the line starts here, not there." So we stand in the middle of the aisle BLOCKING her big ass pallet cart and that big ass attitude. Another staff proceeds to tell us to move because we're in the way of her genius coworker. Never had problems with staff before, but pallet lady needs retraining on how to talk to people politely. read more

Never coming back! One of the employees (the only old blond "lady") made racist comments towards my assistant and because of that i came back to the store to try and speak with the manager "Becky" who said that because she didn't see anything happening she was not going to do anything about it or even help to figure out the situation and decided to keep arranging the bookshelf's instead of helping. I can't tolerate this kind of behavior and it disgusts me that there is still people like that that either turn their back at you or spit on your face. Wasn't super impressed with Home Goods. They have a lot of stuff, but it's kinda all over the place and the quality is questionable. Some items were not tagged with a price, and some seemed a little overpriced for what they were, in my opinion. A lot of people working in this store, stocking shelves, and not one of them has any manners. Shameful.

I love the products the store carries however it is very crowded in the store and can appear junky. The staff are not friendly and see to always not be working short. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to tell me the price of a piece of furniture. The lady tells me and walks away. It would have been nice had she said it is XXX dollars would you like me to help you take it up front etc? So instead I had to have my sister stand by it so no one else tried to buy it while I waited 20 more minutes in line to pay for it. read more

Watch out what you buy and the price. I was contemplating buying a Christmas item and returned the next day only to find the tag had disappeared. When asked about the price the manager added $40 to the price that it should have been before the tag was removed. The manager argued "oh it must have come in with wrong price tag". I have seen this piece at another HomeGoods and know for a fact THAT THIS IS NOT TRUE and I know what it should be selling for since I've seen it before!! BEWARE the managers at this location remove tags and mark items up as they see fit. Rude, dishonest managers, unfriendly staff. This is the WORST Home Goods in Arizona! read more

Worst costumer service. The young girls are useless and not open to help. Bought a pot and the rack wasn't the right size. I came to get the right size and I was told they didn't have the right size but other pots had it and they didn't want to exchange it. Either way one of the pots wasn't going to have the correct size rack. Very frustrating. read more

We went here thinking we could find the perfect dresser and we did but it had a chip on it. The dresser was a green/silver color and the scratch was thick white. Pretty noticable. Went to the front to buy it and ask the manager if we could buy it discounted since it was chipped. I was told, " we don't discount for that". I am pretty sure she was stressed because there was a lot of people but even my husband ( who is such a chill dude), told me she had terrible customer service. This is the most unhelpful Homegoods I have ever shopped at. The associates (and there always seem to be MORE than they need) are too busy to assist and when you do flag one down for assistance, it is VERY obvious you are interrupting something else they could be doing. And, they NEVER know anything about their own store and/or company. I have yet to find an associate that goes out of their way too make the experience easier and successful. I would HIGHLY recommend making the drive to Queen Creek, Chandler or the Stapley Rd HomeGoods. Much better customer service and altogether happier employees. read more

Today my boyfriend and I went to get home decorations for Christmas and it was surprisingly busy in the store around 11-12, and since we'd never been in here before we didn't know where to find the specific things we were looking for so when we got asked if we needed help, we jumped at the offer! Haha rather than wander cluelessly looking for what we needed, we received help from Nellie who was very friendly and she knew where everything was! We appreciated the friendly, helpful service! I want to really thank this location, especially the staff and the district manager. I went to this location a few days ago and ended up purchasing som pillows, while checking out, I ended up dropping some money on the floor. I called the next day and spoke to the manager who was very helpful. Took down all of my information and got a call today that they were able to recover the money. Not only that, but because of the delay with getting back to me, the district manager also gave me a gift card and a store coupon, which was above and beyond considering they were able to retrieve my lost cash. I am so grateful for the consideration and helpfulness the staff showed me during this incident! I would highly recommend shopping at this or the queen creek location, the staff is exceptional! read more

If I could give the store a zero I would. I went into the store to browse and ended up with $300 in merchandise. Within the first 5 minutes I found a wreath I wanted but of course it didn't have a price tag on it but I did find the same one with the price on it but not in as good of shape. I took both wreaths to the front and asked to have a price put on it. I shopped for another 25 minutes and found more stuff I really didn't need. When I got to the cash register, the wreath still didn't have a price tag and the two employees were still shooting the shit. The lady that helped me had no clue what she was doing and the other two employees were too busy chit chatting to help her. I purchased 4 comforters and a lamp in addition to wreath and was going to have my husband starting loading car while I finished transaction but this was a problem too. As I was leaving I saw this new, untrained employee talking to the two lazy employees about me...the customer. I will never drop another cent in this store, QC has all my business. read more
