I've learned that thrifting will always land you the obscure yet signature pieces if you have the time to search and if the timing is right. This location was a bit more organized than the one in Bird Road although I found their inventory to be somewhat dated. There were some high end pieces I came across that unfortunately were not my size but hopefully someone will stumble across them soon and find them a home. I did get super lucky and find this Nickelodeon Rugrats one-piece that I'm not sure if I would ever actually wear but I knew I had to buy it anyways. Their coats were certainly the best selection I had seen in a while. I scored a super heavy-duty raincoat that I know will come in handy during rainy season. As always, the prices are the lowest they can get with each week featuring a half off sale on a certain tagged color. The return policy is limited as it is only for seven days and redeemable towards store credit but that's the drill in spots like this. I typically don't venture out to this area but I wanted to check out this store and so I'm glad I did because I walked out with some cool pants that still had the tag on them and they fit me great despite me never trying them on in the store. It's worth a shot to shop second-hand sometimes if you want to score big on the low.

This is the most ridiculously craziest color coded goodwill I have ever been to! I love the signs that tell you what section of the store your walking into whether its the Junior section, Denim, Costumes,Kids,Shoes, Mens. I found a few items that I purchased but a lot less than normal but this goodwill has a variety of items that will definitely catch your eye! I did notice that as I strolled through the aisles that even though things were obviously color coded and size tags were placed on the racks there were some sections where the sizes extended into a different size so be careful not to overlook and double check the size. Also dont forget to look up tons of cool things showcased on the top of the walls!

They write the prices on the clothes in marker which can sometimes be seen through the clothes. A lot of the clothes are stained.

Didn't even know this Goodwill was here. I came to pick up my kid at Off The Wall next door and I stopped here to see what books they might have. I was disappointed when I saw all their books fit on a 6-foot folding table. Usually at the thrift stores I've been to, they have several bookcases of books. It's all good because I found a Ruth Ware book that is on my TBR list. For only $1. I'm currently reading The It Girl by the same author. Hopefully they will build up their book selections. Other than that, they had an abundance of everything else. Kudos on such a clean and organized store all in all.

I was very surprised and elated by the vast selection of clothing, purses, home goods and shoes. The most surprising item in the entire store was the toilet paper - I did not check the pricing but they were tiny rolls. The active wear rack was priced well at $6.00 and up. Beautiful section of glassware, and even mattresses, wheelchairs, rugs and bicycles. Dressing rooms available too. This week was the color red at a 50% off sale on selected items. Just a very clean well managed store.

They abandoned the concept of the traditional church pulpit in favor of preaching directly to the people most in need. Despite the disapproval of the church, Booth took his ministry to the poor, homeless, hungry, and destitute. After training evangelists all over England, the couple returned to the west end of London in 1875 and formed their organization, the Christian Mission. In 1878 while reading the annual report for the Christian Mission he noticed the phrase "The Christian Mission is a volunteer army." William Booth crossed out volunteer army and replaced it with salvation army. From then on converts became soldiers of Christ or Salvationists. The groups message spread quickly and today they serve over 100 countries. The Salvation Army has churches throughout the world called Salvation Army corps but they are probably best known for their thrift stores. When items are purchased at the stores the money supports the Salvation Army's emergency relief efforts and programs. Unlike a lot of businesses the Salvation Army will hire ex felons. Some of the shops support the Adult Rehabilitation Centers which help people combat addiction. When you donate to or buy from the Salvation Army you are helping to support many worthwhile programs. I discovered this Salvation Army store while driving through Pembroke Pines. It used to be a Rooms to Go and the large size of the building caught my eye. As an avid thrifter I am always up to exploring a new store and this location was busy on a Saturday afternoon. Inside was one of the nicest Salvation Army stores I have ever been in South Florida although it still had that distinctive musty odor if you know what I mean. In the front of the store you will find large pieces of furniture like sofas, desks, and tables. Towards the back of the store are racks upon racks of clothes all organized by color and type. The amount of clothes was truly astounding. I feel like they could clothe the entire city of Pembroke Pines. Rounding out the inventory are accessories, home goods, toys, and books. If you were starting out in your first apartment you could get most of what you need here. Some of the things I picked up weren't in the best condition as they were broken or chipped. Take the time to really examine every item before you purchase. That said, if you ae a bargain hunter you will be in your element.

The Mustard Seed Thrift Store is a ministry outreach of the Davie United Methodist Church. You can find it in a small building to the left of the church. The Mustard Seed Thrift Shop is open every Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM. The thrift store is staffed with church volunteers and they take donations while the store is open. They accept and sell gently used clothing, children's toys and clothes, and small household items. Prices are very in expensive, clothing is only a dollar for an example and the church provides clothing vouchers for those in need if they contact the church office. I saw some interesting glass items, some of which may have been vintage. Patient church volunteers were giving a math lesson to some children buying toys. Although on the small side, this is a cute, welcoming store and the prices can't be beat. There are also several other thrift stores in the area so you can add the Mustard Seed to a thrifting circuit in Davie.
