I really liked this location, it's set up very differently then the ones near me. it was very spacious, clean, well lit, and organized. The few staff they did have were very pleasant and prompt. They didn't have much of a selection ( I blame this on the location) and everything was priced much higher then comparable thrift stores. still worth stopping in though and supporting them. read more

This store is clean and well organized. Staff are very friendly and seem to be going out of their way to do a good job. Bargains can be had if you are willing to take the time and go through stuff carefully. I bought $600 worth of stuff for $70. I think it's worth a trip. read more

This store is clean and well lit, and for the most part the employees are nice. What really irks me lately, however, is that while the community is donating a lot of good things, an enormous amount of merchandise is apparently being sent out to other stores, so much so that shelves sometimes feel almost empty. I donate often. The Hudson area is full of lower-income people who often don't have transportation to metropolitan shopping areas, who really need the option of good items for less. I would like to see more merchandise kept in the community. read more

The store has a decent selection of housewares, though it's not huge. That's my main interest. They're was a decent but not huge selection of clothes, some books and holiday decorations. They kept bringing out more things which was cool. Overall I found it to be overpriced. Only one color was on sale, and it was 40%, unlike the half price specials done by the Salvation Army. I wouldn't go out of my way again to come here. The woman at checkout was very friendly. read more

It was an average sized store, mostly clothing and not as many shoes. There was a lot of Christmas home goods at the back of the store. It was pretty clean and the fitting rooms were open which was great. There was a lot of people waiting so I just ended up trying on with mirrors around the store anyway. read more

This store seems to be higher priced than other goodwill stores. Also, doesn't have the same discounts as others I've been to. This visit, I had asked one employee what the cost of a light weight sweatshirt was that I picked up in the womens tops section, she said $5.99. When I got to the checkout, it rang up $9.99. Nowhere was there any sign indicating a price of $9.99. When questioned, the checkout person stated, it's considered it a jacket. I said that the other person had just said it was $5.99. This checkout person ignored my statement. Yes, I understand contributing to this store helps the community. This is not my community and at these inflated prices, I don't see how it is helping its community if even the locals can't afford to shop here. At $9.99, this price point seems high as some items in regular stores go on sale for this brand new. I guess, if it were a jacket, I could understand, but it's not. read more

Aug 10,2021 I bought a air fryer that was in original box with instructions and booklet.paid $25 I go to the checkout ask the cashier has this being air fryer does it work ..she stated everything electrical is tested before the item goes for resell..guess what it does not work. I go back to the store after I had too find the original reciept on Aug 12, 2021 was politely told sorry ..no refunds..I ask what about a store credit ..sorry no store credit either. Was told I should have checked the item out in the store before buying .. who goes in a store plugs in appliance cooks the food to make sure the item works.. maybe I should start bringing in food to cook for now on. So basically Goodwill store STOLE CONNED LIED to me and I am out of $25 . read more

Probably the best Goodwill in the area. Always has a great selection of new and vintage clothing. Even love the men's section. The shoes are almost always brand new or overflow from a retailer which is great for those who don't love wearing used shoes. Only wish I could get here more often. If you're going thrift shopping in Hudson I'd definitely recommend this as a must go to stop! read more

This goodwill prices things much higher than I think they're worth. But let me start with the things I like about it: - Cheap books. - Huge variety - Relatively clean And now the things I don't like: - The overpriced chaos of damaged Target items in the back. - The chaos in the back. (Seriously, good luck trying to pull something out of the shelves without having something else fall out. Goodwill thrift stores are pretty interesting because I think they are one of the clearing houses for unsold/damaged Target brand items - so you never really know what you are going to find. I found this store particularly clean and organized - there were a good many designer men's clothes -particularly a black pair of cords that I had been looking for. The housewares section is color coordinated, which I always find a bit weird, while none of their clothing is. There was a good selection of housewares, in pretty good condition - some of the stuff was new from Target. I didn't see much furniture, but I don't think Goodwill is particularly known for taking furniture (at least in my experience of them). The prices are always pretty great, and as far as I know, they always have a 1/2 off sale going on. And while I believe Maxwell - my experience with the staff was top notch. read more

This is a great big goodwill. Super big, intimidatingly big, big big big. I had an ok time here looking at their house ware and I picked up a few quirky little things. The location is nice and close to other businesses and fast food restaurants like taco bell. Mmmmm.... I like fast food after a goodwill shopping spree. I didn't find the staff very attentive though, they all seemed tired and a little bit annoyed to have us there. read more

Some staff members are very rude and unresponsive making a point to show you how much they do not like helping you, others are great and friendly. I once went in to purchase a video game system and asked if there was a television to test it on, 4 employees lied to me all at once saying they had none in the store. I had to go to the electronic section, hook up a tv on the floor and do it myself. All the while an employee stood behind me with her arms crossed and scowling. did you know they also sell bottles of medicine and expired food products?, just take a look at the racks next to the books! looks illegal. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this place.. Sometimes I love what I find and sometimes I find nothing except broken or well used junk with super jacked up ebayesque prices.. I would never buy electronics from here again, 3 out of 3 didnt work and they don't give you money back, only store credit and they love to look at you like your a thief if your returning an item that doesn't work.. They should be forced to try the equipment to make sure it works, its such a scam, sell something you know probably doesn't work, and then play dumb and refuse to give money back refunds! The other thing that bugs me is if something of a name brand is donated they jack the price up like you wouldn't believe,.. like 5.99 for a used kids sweatshirt.. I mean, come on this was all DONATED.. your supposed to be HELPING the community by providing a place for lower income families to shop! Ha! I get way better deals on brand new clothes by being vigilant at kohls, and tjmaxx.. The prices are comparable to ebay prices thats for sure.. if you pay attention to the half off color of the week you can get great items, but salvation army is the one to go to if you need new clothes for your kids who grow so fast anyway, same sweatshirt there would be 1.99 max.. I would never donate to the goodwill because of the fact that they do not really help the community by jacking up their prices. read more
