Was in the area and decided to stop into this Goodwill to see what finds I could gather. I was looking for some jackets to upgrade my professional wardrobe and this location had a pretty wide selection. From the entrance, on the right side, you'll see the big racks of their current trends or hip items. Had some nice jeans and also some more dressy wear. I came in on a Yellow Tag day and was able to find some things to restock my closet some. The lady at the register was pretty chill and said they ran out of shopping bags, I was like it's okay I can just carry them out. I guess it matched the discount store vibe lol. They do have a few changing rooms with staff standing right outside if you need anything - thought that was pretty cool. Parking was pretty much almost full when I got there, but was able to find parking right by the front of the shop. Think I'm gonna add this location to my list of thrift shops in the area. read more

At first glance, seemed great, the store was clean, well-organized, and had a nice overall aesthetic. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly. The prices were high across the board, and there were barely any discounts, which already made it hard to justify buying anything. After spending about 30 minutes searching, I finally found an item I wanted, only to be told at checkout that they couldn't sell it to me because it didn't have a tag. I've been to many Goodwill locations before, and this has never been an issue, usually they just retag the item and/or scan something similar and sell it. First off, they're so quick to answer your call and very nice! I had a quick question, they gave me the answer I needed and made me feel valued even tho it was just a quick question and answer lol. I also visited their donation center today at 5 PM, I didn't get the worker's name but he was also so sweet! He made conversation with me, offered me a receipt (which my local one never has done so I think I've been getting ripped off at mine), and thanked me for donating. This goodwill has a new policy stating if an item has no price tag they cannot sell you the item they must take it to the back and you can come back the following day when they reprice the item. My guess is this policy was instated to try and deter tag switchers, this sounds ok but the only problem is 80% of the purses and belts on racks didn't have tags -.- I assumed they had standard set pricing (ex. Belts 4.99 purses 6.99 etc) so when I took it to the front they said they could not sell it to me, seriously very annoying, employee was nice and just following store rules but it's so dumb, do they even want to make money??? Came here looking for basic pots and pans and expecting it to be at a deeply discounted price and discovered these were lightly used, if at all, at the same price as a new one at TJ Maxx or Marshall's. This nicely curated for a Goodwill. Definitely a store I would expect to find a vintage item that's unique and trendy. I was on a time crunch when I visited, but I would stop by again for more treasures as they had interesting clothing items as well! Today on February 24th the color is Orange however the employees took away all of the orange tag items except for 2 items in women's (2old ugly tee-shirts) to disguise what they do to cheat the sale color. They have been doing this at least for the past 5 year. I pop in at random times here and there throughout the year since I work down the street. Today I deliberately looked everywhere around the store searching for orange tags and of none but the 2 in women's shirts section. I asked one of the guys who works there where all the orange tags are and he began stammering in a few lies about so many people came in to get the deep discounts!!!! Yeah right on a Tuesday afternoon, and every random day over the past 5 years. This is so messed up and I am reporting this store to headquarters because I shop for students in need of clothes and other thing who cannot afford it. Other Goodwills all over Orange County DO NOT DO THIS no false advertising at all. This store is ran by dishonest people. read more

Going into the store and asking for help was a breeze! Maria was there to assist me every step of the way. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a great costume for my Halloween party. I asked for the dress from the mannequin, and she was quick to help and get it down for me. We stopped by here before my wifes wax appointment across the street. We wanted to check out what they had in store. We waited outside because it did not open till 10AM as we were a few minutes early. There were other people waiting as well. You walk in and the store is FREAKEN CLEAN, SMELLS CLEAN, LOOKS CLEAN, THE EMPLOYEES ARE WELL DRESSED!! As your shopping around or looking around, all the young ladies are asking if you need help!! ITS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR US!!! IT WAS A 10/10... Even when my wife asked to try on a few things, the young ladies were really sweet and offered up more options too for clothing. They have a tag sale of the color of the day.. Example: Saturday was BLUE day, so everything with a BLUE was 50% off... I thought that was cool... The only reason I knocked off 1 star was because the clothing was a bit pricey... Especially being for a Goodwill Store, you would think it would be cheaper then the average walmart or DDs Discount. Some of the items were $12.99 - 18.99... Which again, these are lightly used items, I get it, and some are new from other department stores... But this is why people shop there, because they want the good deals but not paying the full price as a regular department store. This is just my two cents on the outcome! I do my best to not believe everything I read in reviews, however the review about employees pulling the color of the day tagged items is true. Today was 50% off purple and I saw two employees rapidly pulling items off the racks. They both had their arms filled with purple tagged items and would rush them to the back. According to the previous review, the manager defended the actions by suggesting a rotation of items and replenishment throughout the day. It just doesn't make sense since only the purple tags were being removed and the almost barren racks were every other color but purple. read more

This goodwill is one of the best. Their staff is welcoming and very friendly. One of the associates, Matthew, greeted every person and has excellent customer service. August 2019 Since the location has moved from being near the 99c store to now by Polly's i feel like the merchandise has gone up. Prices are kind of high here on items but with the weekly specials and really taking the time to look around you may find something. The staff here are friendly and ready to assist. I found a few items that had no visible price tags but the cashier (younger girl dirty blonde hair with glasses) made the effort to get prices for me which were fair. The items on the shelves are crammed in so it can be difficult to move things around. They have a good selection on glassware and shoes. I have found some vintage Disney clothes here as well as a brand new Nintendo switch gaming case (4.99). read more

Wow! Cleanest and most organized Goodwill store I've ever been in. Organized more like a chain retail store. Clothing is organized by size. Mugs are all hung up. The changing room design makes me think of Pacsun or Tilly's. That said, the coolest thing about this location (hands down!) is the painted brick signage from The Boys Market. I've been going to goodwill for years and honestly it's pricey I hope they will lower it down especially used clothes Or maybe have better deals. Friday is always change color of the tags so if blue tags announce and u see a blue tag on any item then it's 50 percent off. Goodluck hunting for treasures. read more

Horrible customer service! I won't recommend coming here and will not be returning. There was a young girl working, who I asked for help multiple times and was very rude. I believe her name was Melissa. I was barely able to get her attention and when I did, it seemed like an inconvenience. The goodwill here is sooo expensive compared to the ones I've visited in Ventura. I typically go in looking for board books for my baby and normally would find them for about 79cent but here they were 5$! At that price, I might as well buy them new on amazon instead of second hand. Plus there were only less than a handful of board books available. Some chicken books and mostly adult books. I do have to say the set up is the nicest, cleanest, and most organized goodwill I've been to though. Just wish the prices were better marked read more

VERY overpriced for a thrift store, particularly if you consider they get their merchandise for free. Some of the furniture I've seen at times has been nearly 100$. Like others have said, the location is also very small so the clothes are packed very tight and it's difficult to sift through them. Some of the employees are also generally unfriendly but to their credit, that's probably because this is a bad place to work as other reviewers have mentioned. P.S: it's not a "charity". They don't even give disabled employees their legal accommodations. read more

Brand new Goodwill to replace the one that just closed on Chapman. This one is waaaaay smaller than the one off Chapman. I used to like going to that one because it was more roomier. I came in to check it out and they had a healthy crowd since it just opened but at the same time I felt a little claustrophobic due to the size. I came, I saw, not sure if I'll come thru again. I didn't go to the grand opening, just on a regular day. It wasn't busy and the staff are really nice plus helpful. It's a bit smaller than the old one but you can still find what you need. Very clean and more organized than most goodwills I've gone to. Some items are a bit overpriced but nothing crazy. From this location being on Chapman, the Raymond store is a huge downgrade. The size of the store is nowhere near what it was before, there rarely any space to shop with a cart because the aisles are so close together & everyone just ends up playing bumper carts with each other. The worst part for me is that its more boutique-y than a thrift. Which at the point, is not a thrift store at all. read more

this goodwill is a lot smaller than the old one off Chapman but I was still pleasantly surprised with all the great finds there. I will say that the home goods section seems more lacking but at the same time they've only been open about a month so I'm sure it will improve. Since it's smaller now, I feel like they put out the better quality clothing as opposed to some of the older stained shirts which I have no problem with. I actually came yesterday with my boyfriend to look for a suit for him for a wedding we have this weekend and he was able to find a jacket and pants for $16 total and they look good as new!! The store was also kept very clean and the customer service here is amazing!! Seriously, all the workers here are awesome! They work hard so be nice! Overall very happy and will be back read more

This particular Goodwill was okay. It was rather surprising to see how limited the selection is compared to the ones in Anaheim, Orange and Santa Ana. For the most part it is only worthwhile to buy when the item is half price that week. Some items are ridiculously priced and others are just so-so. But it won't keep me from continuing to look for that elusive deal. read more
