This is a very clean, well organized, open, and airy Savers. The moment you walk in you notice that it's very spacious and very well organized. The store has all of its various sections separated so that you can easily find whatever you're looking for. Whether you want to come in to shop for home goods, knickknacks, jewelry, electronics, books, records, CDs, or either men's women's or children's clothing, it's very easy to find the section that you're looking for. FYI, they have restrooms in the back if you need to take care of that type of business. As is the case with all Savers, the prices here tend to be a bit higher than other thrift stores chains. This is not so much a criticism, it's just something to keep in mind. This is not say that you can't find that great deal. It's just that if you're looking for that cheap shirt, pair of pants, jacket, or whatever else, you may not find it here for the price you desire. In terms of parking, they have a large parking lot directly in front of the the store. This lot is is shared with a few other businesses. Though during peak hours,, it's sometimes can be a bit hard to find space, generally you should be able to find one without too much of a problem. Overall, if you want what Savers has to offer, this is a very nice store, with a very nice staff to find it. read more

Where to begin... I recently went here, donated some items, the area was clean, and the team outside were very helpful. I went inside and the mood shifted, clothes were off the racks, books were stacked on each other, toys on the ground, and the home goods area was a MESS, and there was an employee sitting on the furniture at the front!! When I went to check out, the line was long, the registers were moving slow but I can't blame them, they had no help! There was what looked to be a manager walking between the registers, he was talking more than he was helping. I didn't catch his name but he had a hat with a beard. He seemed to be very "close" with the employees, lots of laughing and touching. I feel like there is a lot that can be done to improve this store, more specifically, the management on the inside. read more

2 stars for some organization. I haven't been here in years because it's out of my way. They used to be fairly reasonable with prices but they are over doing it. It's hard to say no to all your favorite brands at a steep discount. Savers in Yorba Linda has to be one of the best Savers in existence. This store is so well organized and well stocked. You'll find a variety of clothing, furniture, books, and all the household items you could need. I've found that this location is overflowing with name brand items. The only issue is that they're still charging $16-$25 per piece. It's honestly a little ridiculous considering everything is second hand and they received it for free. I also docked a star due to their no dressing room policy. It's crazy to spend $20 per item and not being able to try them on. Especially since they don't offer refunds, just store credit. This thrift store is always amazing. A lot of good deals and a lot of selections. Just wish it wasn't seasonally adjusted and you have to wait for the season to come back to see what they have for clothing. But they really do have a large selection overall. I came here to drop off donations. I had from home and they wouldn't take it and it was during operation hours. Their excuse was that they didn't have enough team members to help sort through the items. I think that if they didn't have enough team members, they can leave the rest for the next day so that way we didn't have to take another trip to make donations. read more

Ok, I'm addicted to shopping at 2 of the Savers locations. I've spent tons of money ( maybe not so good) but have found some gems. In line to pay at Savers today, a woman in front of me had a book she would like to purchase for $6.99. An employee informed her (and myself) that the store is not accepting cash because the system is down, and in the meantime they only accept card. The woman offered to pay extra so they could donate the rest, but the employee smirked and said no. Another employee came and explained that the "system has been down" for SEVEN DAYS and they have not been accepting cash in that time. Ya'll, my mind was blown. Less than 10 years ago, if something like this happened, we would bust out paper receipts and pens so we could continue business. It's one thing for the cards to be down, but there is never a reason not to accept cash in a brick and mortar business -- especially a business that supposedly caters to poor people!! When I got back to my car, I cried when I realized that for the past week, any homeless person who came to this place for clothing has been turned away. Poor people are the ones who are less likely to have digital currency, and this is a place for selling used items to people who need them most! I just think it's so important for businesses and people not to become so reliant on technology that we forget how to do basic things that have worked for thousands of years. I came to Savers to drop off all of my preloved clothes on New Year's Day and it was such an easy process. The drop off area was right in front of the store and I was greeted promptly by one of their staff. I was given a bin and filled the whole thing up with 4 bags of my clothes. I felt so much lighter going into 2025! I've never shopped inside, only dropped off goods. I'd come back again when I do more purging for items in my home. read more

I donate items here. Their prices are high for donated items. Yes some are name brand but wow! $16.99 for a used shirt or $24.99 for tennis . The shoes were name brand but have they heard of TJMAXX or ROSS? For a few bucks or the same price you can get the items new. Throttle back on the prices. This has to be a for profit with them. I made a drive up donation last Sunday and realized Monday morning that I had actually dropped my Apple Watch when unloading my donations into the bins. I thought I had just left it at home and thank goodness for the ping feature along with find your watch from apple. I called the store and spoke with Donovan the manager. When I arrived at the store, I was surprised to see that he was a young man about the same age as my youngest son. He took me towards the back and he along with a few employees had me continue to ping my phone until he finally found the watch for me! Success! Just wow! The band must have broken when I was throwing things into the bins. There are several ways to exceed expectations in a business! This young man identified his strengths, and really went beyond in his job! No wonder he is a manager as he most likely impressed his managers to advance his career at such a young age! I had such a wonderful experience at this Savers location! My mom and I initially came to drop off some donations and decided to browse around. We found several great items, and since some were quite heavy, Brandon, who appears to be a manager or team leader at the store, was incredibly helpful and set them aside for us. Kenneth explained how their hold system works and was so professional and kind throughout the process. What really impressed me was how patient and understanding both Brandon and Kenneth were with my mom, who is hard of hearing. They took the time to communicate clearly and made sure she felt comfortable throughout our visit. We returned the next day to pick up our items (since I had a smaller car), and they actually remembered us! We did a bit more shopping and the entire atmosphere in the store was just so positive and welcoming. Brandon's leadership really shows in how well-trained and courteous his team is. Both he and Kenneth, along with the rest of the staff, deserve recognition for creating such a pleasant shopping experience. Their customer service really went above and beyond what you'd expect. Savers is a chain of thrift stores that started back in 1954 in San Francisco. I first started shopping at Savers in San Jose back in the 1990s. I'm a regular thrift shopper. I shop Salvation Army, Goodwill, and various local thrift stores that I find whenever I travel. Like anyone else, I prefer quality products for a reasonable price. Honestly, I have found the best prices for quality used goods at yard sales. But the next best place to find quality at a good price is Savers, regardless of location. Unlike many others, Savers goes to great lengths to sort the merchandise and display it in an organized manner. As with other Savers locations, the Savers in Yorba Linda has an excellent used book section, a few aisles of books sorted according to genre. The quality of books range from almost new to fair, with the majority somewhere in between. A final word about prices: regular prices at Savers are often higher than other places. We buy on special days and on days when we have items to donate to charity, which qualifies us for a 20% discount on our entire purchase. That discount makes any purchase price reasonable. read more
