This location was close to a church I visited on Sunday, 12-17-23. As a serious thrifter, I get excited about trying new Goodwill stores. I liked that this location had sizes sectioned off; a lot of stores do not. I found a robe, a blouse, a half slip, 3 cds, and 2 men's dress shirts. Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviews that said that this location is a little pricey. I'm pretty sure dress shirts I found in Boston were $6/$7; these were $10.99 each. The staff was nice. One employee came to assist me with jewelry before I asked; the other offered to assist me with purses. The one I bought was quite unique; not sure if it's vintage or not. Also, one of the employees let me use their cart to make what I thought was a post office run. Did go to the post office a few units down only to find they didn't allow you to buy postage. Went to CVS & across the street to Walgreens thinking I'd be able to use UPS/CVS, respectively. They only accept prepackaged items. My company did a last minute 80s theme day and of course I had nothing in my closet. A friend of mine suggested I go to good will so I wouldn't have to spend too much money. I went to good will and I was impressed at how organized they were. Everything was sorted by tops, skirts, jeans tanks etc. Not only were they organized they had a color of the day sale. So everything I found with that color tag was an additional 50 percent off an already low price. Tha k tou good will for saving my.pockets and for allowing me to participate in theme day at such a low cost. read more

Holy messy location! We headed in here to look around for some items for an upcoming party we are attending that we want to put costumes together for. It was busy with lots of people moving about in various places. The line was also heavily backed up with just two cashiers. We shopped around throughout the store. The clothing areas were much better and cleaner than the back area where the furniture, kitchen items, baby / kid items, and books are located. It was pretty badly disheveled and items were on the floor, mixed around in odd areas, and there was even some trash on a few of the shelves. Perhaps we just hit them at an off time? We did end up finding a silicone heart mold tray that I wanted. It was not marked with a price, however, the cashier graciously only charged us a dollar for it. The line took about 15 minutes to get through, and they added a third cashier towards the end of our time in the line. Overall: C- Messy and in need of a clean up. Line took some time. The prices are good if you can dig in and find a deal! read more

I came into the store to see if there was any pants for a friend of mine who has just been thrown out of his place and has nothing suitable to wear, He has recently had a stroke so funds are tight, so I suggested we try the thrift store close to the house. After we shopped around and checked out we noticed a massager that would be good for him and his paralyzed left side, We asked to see it. The Key Holder Aaisha came to assist us, I asked her if we could plug it in and test it, She said NO they are tested in the back and only puT out because it worked. she then said " Do not worry if it does not work you have 3 days to return it". Both myself and my husband asked 2 different times if we can return it for a full refund and she said both times "YES within 3 days". so we agreed to buy it. We got home and placed it on the charger over night. In the morning we tried it and it did not work at all. We went back to the store around the same time to refund it and the 2 staff members adv us that we can not return it, One the Assistant manager Catnna advise me that it was also incorrectly marked and should not even be return or exchanged BUT they would go ahead and honor an exchange, I adv I do not want anything i want a refund or a gift card to use at a later time and she refused stating they do not do that, As a person who works in customer service i am aware that there is ways to make a situation right and they refused. As a company if your employee makes a statement then it is your responsibility to honor and being that that employee holds a management position it is even more important to honor read more

5 stars because this branch is barely crowded and I have found good things from here along with the OBT branch as well! I recently today bought a Papasan with a Pier 1 Imports sticker on the wick stand! The SET (frame and cushion) was $34.99! I saw it yesterday when I dropped off hamper full of clothing and I had to sleep on it LOL - I woke up thinking of the price and I called to be placed on hold and when I got there I also found toss pillows to accent the chair for $3.98 (set of 2) - along brand new items from Target! A bamboo lid covered bowl (excellent to place tossed salads etc) and a Nate Berkus ceramic round tray to serve appetizers in! Both items were $3.99! I like driving to this location because its nearby and less crowded! I also found my bday suit here for $5! I usually visit this place every 2-3 weeks to see whats stocked up! read more

Bought an item here for $7. A basketball, that sells for new at Walmart for $12. I wanted to give my money to a place charitable instead of big corp and wanted to do good. When I went to play with the ball, it had a hole and was not keeping air. I went back and asked for a refund: they said the policy is no refund. I asked for a exchange then for same value (sounds fair): the lady said that they just do electronics, which is not written anywhere in the receipt. Wanted to do some good deed and ended up being screwed. Moral of the story: don't go there. Items are overpriced AND people are dishonest. read more

What I like about Goodwill is that pricing is, in most cases, based on the type of product rather than the individual product itself. You find the best prices that way. This store is kept cleaner and more orderly than most locations I've been to. Take your time to make sure you don't miss some good finds. $5 for a Roc-A-Wear jacket? $3 for a LeBron James jersey (technically it said 'Bron Bron')? The service is really bad they make a mistake in a price tag. They don't sell me the tshirt because it was to big to be a kid's tshirt news flash the size 18 Husky is like regular small men size. But because someone in the store make it like a kids tshirt and look like a men tshirt the employee want to change me like a men, tshirt the prices of the tags was 1.99 and she wanted me go pay for a used tshirt 6.99. This is not a garage sale to play with the prices... really bad service and attitude. She said don't worry if I don't want it someone else will... Just like any other Goodwill. There's some crappy stuff and some hidden gems, but one mans trash is another mans treasure. The trick is to stay for an hour or two, grab a cart, and grab anything off the racks that looks good and may possibly fit you, then try then all on. You'll be surprised by how much you can find. This location's drop off is in the back. It is conveniently located near where I live so it makes sense that I would drop off at this location. Every time I have dropped off, I am always greeted by someone friendly, willing to offer to help, and always makes sure I get a receipt. The clothing here is always neatly hung, and organized. I can't blame them for a few items haphazardly misplaced in a wrong size......there is so much stuff. Once you venture past the clothes, that's where things are hit or miss. The home wares section is never as neatly organized and really looks like stuff people just dropped off without even a thought as to if it was really in 'give away' condition. I suppose if you are stopping by, you know it may be hit or miss. read more

The assortment of merchandise here is decent, and usually well-organized. There is a small housewares section, a little furniture and a lot of clothing. On the downside, every time I have been here the line has been at least ten people deep, which I never notice at other Goodwills. read more

Newish store that offers a well kept selection. I think it is a little difficult to understand the staff, but they more than make up for any communication issues with a friendly and upbeat attitude. I think the specials are good if you are planning your shopping schedule. I got a great deal on a painting last week. Yesterday, stopped in for a special and picked up a few toys for the grandkids. This store is clean and pleasant to shop, if you hit it outside of peak hours. Like the neighborhood it serves, the people who work there mostly speak Spanish first, English second. All the associates I've met there have been very nice and helpful. Like the other Goodwill stores, there are daily specials. Today, anything with a yellow tag was 1/2 price. You never know what you'll find on any given day; Today they had a nice Persian type rug that had just come in, and $2.50 mens shorts perfect for cutting grass or washing the car. I saw two brand new die cast 1940s Lincoln convertible car models for $10.00 each that would make perfect Fathers Day gifts! When its busy, you should know that people in this neighborhood like to bring the whole family shopping, so if you hate crowds and noise, better come back another time. If you're 55 or older, you get an extra 10% off on the entire purchase, including sale items, every day! read more

People that think this place is cheap have not shopped at discount stores. I would rather pay the same price or $1 more for brand new... especially for throw pillows or other things that hold germs. The furniture is 5 times yard sale prices. read more

This store always seems to have long lines at the register. I never find anything spectacular so that might be why 3 stars too. Not one of the better Orlando Goodwill stores...OBT is where it's at! read more

No treasures yet, but sometimes find good articles of moderately worn clothing. Confusing arrangements of home decor in the clothing section, but appreciate the effort gone into matching items to color schemes. The home goods section is very cluttered, try as the staff might to keep things tidy. Especially of concern are the bins on the shelves in the back isle, inside of them, a dark hole of mystery items and a little bit of garbage. It's the only part of the store which is really disorganized, however. One cashier was very very pushy about the store being closed while I had an assortment of items in a basket at closing time. I put everything back, so as not to keep anyone. Wished her a good evening as I followed another customer out of the door and received no response. Staff are therefore mostly friendly, unless you stay until closing time, some are then very rude. read more

Hit or miss but I usually walk out with some stuff. Lots of cheap t-shirts that look brand new, lots of books and random knick-knacks.
